I have looked and looked for black boots that are stylish yet comfortable and I think that I have found them! These are good width (my feet are wider) but also fit my smaller calfs - which is rare! The Nike Air technology is amazing. I am only 5'4" so the shaft height is good, too (I tried Stuart Weitzman's 5050 and they looked too "Cat Woman" on me) - The leather has a rugged feel. If you are on the fence, you should go for them.

I love these boots. I have wide calves and these boots fit great and are super comfortable.

These boots are perfect for anyone who has "athletic" calves. I'm not sure if these boots being wide width allowed for more room in the calf area, but they accommodate my calves with jeans tucked in comfortably! They are tall. I'm 5'6 and these come all the way to the bottom of my knee. My only complaint was my usual size 9 in these are about a half size too big. Not a big deal as I wear thicker socks anyway. I know other people have complained about getting these on and off, but if you have a helper to pull them off it's not a problem. Again the width is very accommodating so sliding in these boots is not an issue for me. They are my new go-to boots! Love how lean they make my legs look!

Love these boots! So comfortable right out of the box! The boots literally arrived 1 hour before reuniting in New York City for a night out on the town with my college friends. Great comfort & great style!

I think I've worn these everyday since I got them. These were a great purchase. They are super comfortable.

I really wanted these to work, but alas, they were too tight. The boots themselves are great quality, and I would have loved them as a staple go-to boot. They were really narrow, even with the stretch. Returning them.

I had been looking for boots for quite some time. I finally found these and they fit the bill. They are very nice looking and elegant. They are tall coming just below the knee. The elastic inserts allow them to be quite fitted to the leg and yet easy enough to get on and off. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Loved this boot but lost to the Artex. :( due to not having a mold able foot bed. Will admit the leather was awesome. Lines were clean. Workmanship remarkable. Would have loved to have kept it.

I was looking for a boot tight to the calf that could be for going out or wear to work with a pretty low heel. These are amazing. I tried Sam Edleman, Nine West, Frye etc and I didn't find any that were as sleek and comfortable. My only thing is that they do stretch a little more than I would like. I am 6'2 and they come up a little below my knee so these boots are not ideal if you a short or if you have big calves.

Worked for me right out of the box. I have a wider toe box, an athletic calf and a high instep. I work retail...wore these 8 hours the first day and they were great. No complaints. Great quality and comfort. Very pretty on the foot. Don't bunch and I like that they are clean looking...not a lot of bells and whistles.

Great color. I love the look. My only problem is that I'm so short they are a little too tall at the back of my knees when I sit down. But I love them so much that I'm wearing them anyway.

This is a very attractive, quality boot. I am 5'11, and the boot does fall well below the knee. The elastic panels are wonderful because they give to fit my athletic calves with no gapping. Overall comfort was good after a long day, except, the toe box is a little narrow, and my toes felt it after 10 hours of wear.

I absolutely love this boot, very comfortable (it almost feels like a sneaker do to the Nike air cushion), but very stylish and stays up well. And even better that I got it on sale!

First off, let me say that I received this with the free shipping in about 24 hours. So I already had a great impression from that part of the shopping experience. The boots are so great. The leather is so soft and the elastic stretches just the right amount to allow your feet in. They aren't baggy at all. I was worried about the lack of zipper but they come on and off surprisingly well - I tuck any jeans I wear into long socks to help. I'm almost 5'8" and the shaft of the boot hits about an inch below my knee which is perfect for me. For the sale price, you cannot beat the quality of these boots! I would definitely recommend them!

These boots are fantastic! They are comfortable and make your leg look amazing. Many boots I have tried look enormous on my calves. These have just the right amount of form to look slim but not tight. I highly recommend them.

This is a great boot for every closet! Very comfortable. Snug on the calf (but stretchy with elastic on leg), so it is slimming. Stylish, simple design. My new go-to boot!

Great pair of boots, comfy and stylish. But if you are petite, like I am, they will be way too tall, about middle of your knee. So, unfortunately, they are going back.

Love, love, love these boots from the minute I put them on!!! No "breaking in" necessary. I bought them in black and am thinking of getting the oxblood color! :) :) :)

Great boots, I'm 22 weeks pregnant and on my feet all day long and these boots really are comfortable. They slip on great, but come off a bit harder (probably because bending down is getting harder for me) overall I would recommend these boots. I ordered an 8, which is a 1/2 size bigger than what I usually wear (Nike size 7.5 and Born size 8) probably didn't need to have some room in toe.

Great comfy well made boot. I was looking for a boot just like this for about a year. And when I found And perfect. Simple style yet polished and well made. I am sure it will go with many items.
