When I first saw the shoes I was very excited. I felt they were right up my ally. Really handsome and stylish shoes. I normally don't spend $200.00 on a pair of shoes, but I figured the quality and construction would be excellent. WOW, WAS I WRONG!!!! This is the absolute worst pair of shoes I have ever purchased. They point out that the insole is made of cork. Big deal, the insole sucks and had to be replaced. After a month one shoe began to come apart the upper part of the shoe began to separate from the sole. I bought shoe goo and bonded it back together. That seemed to do the trick. A month later the other shoe fell part at work the upper almost entirely cam apart and I had to duct tape the shoe just to get through my shift. My father in law is a cobbler so I know what quality shoes are like and for $200.00 the soles should be stitched and glued to the upper. These shoes are all style and no substance and not worth the price. Also the black finish on the shoe can wear of easily exposing more of the red underneath. I have to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to Zappos custermer service. They were notified of the problem and sent me another pair right way. Zappos did not want the messed up pair and told me to donate them. I actually wanted to send the shoes back to Zappos so the could contact NAOT and address the issue with them, but Zappos did not want the shoe in their inventory.

IM 11.5 usually but 45 or 12 us in this shoe is a perfect fit. I’m ordering another color next.

We have re-ordered these same several times because they are my husbands go-to. They look great for work and travel but are also comfortable for walking. He is 6'4" so the soles wear out over time but only after many, many miles walked in his shoes. I am currently re-ordering our 4th pair!

Second pair. Lasts for years. Comfortable and stylish. Feel like they were strictly ergonomically designed but look like fashion.

I've been buying this show model in black for 14 years now every 3 years. It's the only shoe I wear all day every day. it doesn't really get worn out but I still like to change every few years. in 2 weeks I'll be getting my 5th Naot director.

These are great looking shoes and very comfortable. I am typically a U.S. size 9 (which would be a 42 for Naot), but I had to go one size smaller to a 41. The 41 fits well.

My husband is thrilled with these shoes! He is a chef with occasional planter fasciitis, so very careful about his shoes. These were comfortable right away, with no break-in period. I am thinking that we will need to buy another pair of Naots because he is so happy. They are well worth the price. They look great and provide great support.

Very well made and very comfortable! Runs just a little big, but not enough to justify going a size smaller.

The shoe fits true, maybe a little slim, good leather upper. Very comfort, worn as soon as arrived. No break in time.

Seriously some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. This is my first day wearing them and I feel like I could go for a 10 mile walk! Heads up to any first-time buyers like me... They are really tight when you first get them on....but after a few minutes they are awesome

It is always difficult for me to find shoes, since I wear a size 14. When they arrived, the shoes were very tight across the top, making it almost impossible to put on at first. I decided to keep them, anyway, on the theory that they would stretch out over time. I have used a wooden shoe stretcher on them, and worn them many times over a 2 week period, and they now fit perfectly. They still require a shoe horn to be able to get them on, but once on,they are very comfortable. Absolutely excellent materials. I have had numerous people give compliments on them, with people pointing them out when we are out somewhere. I will be looking for another pair of Naot!

This style shoe - in the soft 'maple' - really adds 'spark' to a nice par of jeans - and the elastic 'bands' on either side of the shoe allow one's feet to 'slide' into the shoe quite smoothly. My pair hasn't undergone the 'breaking in' period - and so I graded the 'overall' comfort at 'four' stars ... but I am confident that within the next couple of outings, the 'Naot Director' is sure to get its share of wear! As far as the 'style,' GOTTA love these - and, apparently, so do others (I've received several compliments already)!

They are very narrow. Beautiful shoes.

Wore them around the house for a couple days and thought they were great. Well made and comfortable. After a week or so out, with a fair bit of walking, the leather above the toes broke in in such a way that it was digging into my toes. Became unwearable. Zappos took them back, though - the best.

Bait and switch. The black shoe does not look like the picture. The medium brown trim in the photo is not what you get -- its actually a dark brown that looks almost black. As a result there is almost no contrast and the shoe looks very dull. It's a comfortable shoe but for the cost I expect comfort and style. Disappointing -- will return.

The fit was true to size. Very impressed with the firm leather material. Awesome style and comfort.

Excellent shoe, durable and tough

Shoe fit great! I have metatarsal Neuroma and the width in the toe box works well. The show feels and looks great! I will be buying the black pair next!

Excellent shoe, great fit, high quality build and good grip on the sole. I’ve been looking for this style for years; I have 2 very old pair like this from Donald Pliner (who years ago moved to long, pointed toes and high couture nonsense). Other brands with similar styles, like Mephisto and some Italian brands, can’t match the fit of the Naot—I’ve bought, and returned, several pairs over the years.

These are my favorite shoes. I’ve been wearing them almost daily since 2018. Usually a par lasts about two years. I just bought my fourth pair.

true to size

Very sharp pair of shoes! I bought these for my son and he loves them, you can dress up or dress down and wear them with jeans.

These look and feel great! Nice dressier slip-on, but still conveniently casual. Wonderful supportive footbed and excellent construction. The leather is smooth and beautiful. Yes, they’re expensive, but I think they’ll be worth every penny. Hubby used to think he was a 12, but all the size 13 equivalents are more comfy these days!
