I rarely write reviews on-line. I have an 8AAA foot with a quad heel. So I have a very expensive foot - I am the poster child for Stuart Weitzman. This La Canadienne boot fits perfectly. True to size. I purchased an 8N. It is fashionable, can be dressed up or down and is WATERPROOF and LINED. I live in Asheville, NC so it is a 3 season shoe. For all you skeptics out there based on price, purchase this shoe if it is your only purchase barrier. In addition, I had a hip replacement at age 41 (I am almost 48), my right leg is almost an inch shorter than my left and I have a titled pelvis. I can put a lift in this shoe and walk in comfort. Shoes are an investment for me but I don't have to sacrifice style for comfort. The shoe is narrow throughout - to the toes so if your foot is slightly wider at the top near your toes try these and you can always send them back because Zappos stands behind its consumer promise.

I have a very difficult time finding boots in my size, 9 1/2 Narrow. These boots were a perfect fit and from the first day I walked and walked and felt like on air! The most comfortable boots I have ever had.

Not big on writing reviews, but these boots are nothing short of astounding! Gorgeous, comfortable and well-made. They make my wide-ish foot look more feminine. Only regret is staring at them for years before laying out the (admittedly sizable amount of) cash to buy them!

Desperate for waterproof boots on a last-minute trip, my size on backorder, I ordered next size up (I wear 9.5 & usually order 10s in boots) so got 11s. Never have worn an 11 in any footwear, so was worried but figured fat socks could help. Fit was perfect! This boot cut is tiny! I can't believe 11s worked. I was walking all day and comfort is unbelievable (trust me - I'm a hot house flower when it comes to foot comfort). Could dress up or down. Does rub-off black inside first times wearing on leg/socks. It's some price but worth the money.

Wore them all day and night for 5 days in London. Totally comfortable and not too hot on feet. True to size.

These boots are not only comfortable, but versatile, complementing leggings, pants and dresses. I first wore them running through airport concourses and they never hurt my feet!

LOVE these shoes...they are awesome and very comfortable! This is my 4th pair of La Canadienne and they are the best most comfortable boot and bootie money can buy. Especially if you have narrow ankles and calves like I do. I bought these shoes to replace a pair that I will still wear for years to come that I have had for 10 years. They just do not wear out! I needed something that looked a bit newer and dresser for an upcoming trip to London and these are great. This brand is more expensive than others but worth every penny. I have never had a pair wear out and they feel like a tennis shoe only stylish. I usually wear a 61/2 in most shoes but always get a 7 in La Canadienne.

I love this brand and the shoes I buy are mostly exactly as I want. This brand stands up to a long life with its owner. I recommend La Canadienne.

These shoes are great. Feel great and wear great. This is one of my favorite brands for comfort shoes. I was looking for some slip on regular shoes but settled for these and glad I did. No need to wear in - I have been wearing these for over a week and could not be happier with them.

Beautiful quality and comfortable foot bed. Flattering on. However this "WW" width is equivalent to a "W" in other brands. And actually almost all the shoes I own are "W" and they fit me well, but these boots are too narrow in "WW".

I love these boots. I was able to buy them in a extra wide width, which accommodated my bunions.I bought one size up from my normal shoe size. And they are very comfortable.

Best boot I have ever owned! Worth every penny! Fits my orthotics but did order 1/2 size larger to accommodate them. Sharp and sexy boot! Great with dresses and jeans...LOVE IT!

If you're looking for a comfortable but stylish all-weather boot, look no further. I also own an earlier version of these, which I let my daughter borrow. She loved them so much she wanted to keep them so I ordered another pair. They're sleek and streamlined and can be worn under pants/jeans, over skinny jeans, or with black tights and a dress. Extremely comfortable -- my daughter borrowed them for a week-long winter sightseeing trip and said her feet were warm and comfortable the entire time. The toe does taper down a bit, so if you have a wide foot, you might consider ordering at the top of your size range. I range from 9-9.5 and in the 9, my toes are right at the end. In the 9.5 I have a bit more room.

I bought these to replace a similar style from many years ago. I tend to wear my La Canadiennes until the soles wear out. I bought 8.5 wide based on reviews saying it ran narrow and I’m glad I did. Normally I wear 8.5 or 9 regular. The interior is slightly stiffer and harder to break in compared to the same brand from a few year ago. These are still excellent quality, cute for those of us who like a low wedge and squared toes, and mine are in frequent use. I do think the footbed is less comfortable compared to 10 years agog d I’ve found this to be true with all recent styles in this brand.

These had previously been worn. The sides of both shoes were worn where they had rubbed against each other. This was a disappointing experience to pay so much for a bootie that was obviously used. Even if they were less money, no one wants to feel like they are buying second hand goods. This is the first time this has happened to me. For me there is not enough arch support. I am returning them.

These boots are gorgeous and well made.

They were really pretty, but just a little too narrow for me. I hope to re-order them again in a different size.

I bought these after reading the helpful reviews by other purchasers who have narrow feet. And -- the reviews were correct: great fit (I bought 8.5 AA, my normal size); out-of-the-box comfortable for extended walking; attractive style. Haven't yet had a chance to test how water-resistant they are. Overall I'm quite pleased to have purchased these boots. They're not cheap, but I've owned other La Canadienne boots and know they're excellent quality that will last.

This is my fourth lifetime pair of lLa Canadienne boots . I bought my first pair over 10 years ago and those boots still look and feel nearly as fresh and stylish as new. They are expensive, but the materials, construction are superb.

These are my second pair of La Canadienne boots. The first pair lasted 3 years. I wore them mostly while traveling--and I walk and hike a LOT when I travel. LC boots ain't sexy, but they're high quality; you get what you pay for. As others have commented, these boots run narrow. I ordered an 11W instead of my usual 11M and they fit well.

I love La Canadienne Elizabeth bootie. It is very pretty and very durable. I have had them for over a year now and am still loving them. They do not even look worn and I have worn them so much. They are so comfortable and fashionable. I recommend these.

I love these boots!! I already have a pair of La canadienne boots but they're faux-fur lined so suitable only for winter. I wanted something for fall/spring and these totally fit the bill! So comfortable, the heel is just the right height and they go with EVERYTHING. Very happy with my purchase!

This boot is exactly what I have been looking for. It’s stylish and can be worn casually or dressy. It’s a soft suede, so I treated it with a water/snow resistant spray, and the boot looks perfect. This boot is more than I have ever paid for a boot, but because of my hard to fit feet, I decided that if the fit was what I was looking for, I would spend the $$$ in exchange for the fit. I have a extremely hard time finding shoes to fit my narrow heal and wide toe right foot. I have tried on so many pair of boots/shoes that look like they would work with my problem foot, but did not. This soft suede stretches or “gives” just enough to accommodate my problem foot. I have to wear a thin sock with this boot because the narrow IS NARROW. I have not worn them for an extended period of time, but when I did wear them they were comfortable.

I ordered the Trevis boots, years ago (they are still the best snow boots!) in a 9M. The Elizabeth boot runs a half size smaller. I returned the 9Ms, reordered the 8.5M and, of course, Zappos delivered the new boots the next day. The boots fit well with a thin sock (the boots are warm enough on their own, are gorgeous, comfortable, and very functional in any kind of weather. The price is steep, but La Canadienne footwear will probably outlast me. Zappos delivery and customer service is unsurpassed.
