La Canadienne is one of my favorite brands and have always worn a 6M. This book was very small. I hated to send it back. High quality, as usual, but sizing isn't right.

I wear an 8 N. After trying multiple pairs of Rockports, Walking Cradles (too wide) and Munros (own several pairs of 7.5 N which fit well but seemed I was going to need an 8.5 in the Alfie with just the right sock), I discovered these La Canadienne. I hadn’t planned to buy a $400 pair of boots and was about to settle reluctantly on the Munros but other reviews of the Elizabeth persuaded me to take a chance. After all the others, these were like stepping onto a different planet; one where little creatures massage your feet while you walk. They are also fairly good looking. Not as cute as the Munro Alfie but still not clunky and far more comfortable. Note: The opening of the boot is on the small side. I have skinny calves and ankles and thought someone more “normal” might find them snug. Also not much arch support.

I was looking for a replacement for my Felicias, which unfortunately they do not seem to be part of their collection anymore. These look very stylish, but were way too narrow for me, so I sent them back.

Beautiful boot, but the vamp is narrow. So sorry it didn't fit. The wedge was very comfortable.

It's a nice boot and fit me EXCEPT at the top of the boot. It was tight around the bottom of my calf, and when I walked in the boot, it was uncomfortable. Wish it had fit, so I'm returning.

I like the all black stitching, makes for a sleeker and seamless look which was my goal. Heel height is just the right amount. If you have narrow/skinny lower legs these will zip up perfectly and be flush against them. If you don't, just completely breaks that smooth look. Makes foot look narrower. Size-wise, I went up 1/2 and I'd advise the same. I vary between 7.5W and 8M. 8.5 fits well, a bit long but if you do big socks or a thin insert probably will be perfect!

I'm looking forward to wearing these sleek, minimalist boots this fall with slim pants, skirts and dresses. The heel makes it both dressy and great for walking and balance. I sized up slightly to 9-1/2 WW (I'm betweeen 9 and 9-1/2 W or WW, or Euro size 40, high arches, tendency to plantar fascitis) to accommodate socks and dress orthotics (Sole brand, bought through Zappos). The boots are a bit long, and more W than WW, but my foot is well balanced in it.

These are really great well-made, comfortable, and stylish boots. The only problem I had with them is that they were very slightly tight in the toe box. I got a WW, and would have expected a little more room in there.

Beautiful boot, perfectly comfortable, stylish, looked like it could be worn for casual or nicer. The problem was that I wore the boot around the house with short socks, just to be sure it was comfortable, and when I took the boot off, there was a ring of faint black dye around my ankles!

Narrow in the toe and not cozy wide.

Beautiful shoe. Had to be returned as it was very very narrow for a medium (B) width.

I really wanted to love these boots. They are very cute. However, the fit was not good. It's just cut weird. It's too narrow and long in the toe box. I'm usually an 8.0 Wide, but that was too long. If I went down to 7.5 Wide, it felt too tight. The footbed felt like there was very little cushion. Had to return.

I have a few Le Canadienne boots and love them - so comfortable and warm. I typically go down a 1/2 size and this is what I should have done with the Elizabeth. Toe way too long. They have a squared toe which some may feel looks dated but is more comfortable and nice top stitching - only slightly squared in toe. They were too similar to the boots I have in brown and I was looking for was little more style so I sent them back and didn't try the 1/2 size smaller.

These boots are very chic looking and waterproof but surprisingly no support at all built in. They run narrow and long. I am poised to return them but I am going to put an insert in them and walk around the house a bit because they truly are beautiful

I have always had great luck with La Canadienne boots and have invested (they are expensive!) in many pairs over the years. They have all been comfortable, well-made, and durable. This was the first pair that did not work for me. Weird fit. They were narrow in the front part of the foot, and then wide - slipping off my heel - in the back of the foot. They also smelled horribly of chemicals, which I have not experienced before. So, sadly, I will be sending them back and continue my search. Thanks, Zappos, for the great easy returns.

I usually like La Canadienne, but this one just wasn't as comfortable as my other ones.

The boot was longer and wider than other 9.5 Narrow shoes that I have bought so had to return. Also the suede looked worn somewhat in a few places although the bottom soles looked brand new and not ever worn. The shoes were not packed well in the box so maybe the "worn" spots were caused by the shoes rubbing each other while in the box.

The boots are beautiful, fit well and I really wanted to keep them. The problem; there was "NO" arch support. I am returning them because I know my feet would be hurting if I wore them for any amount of time.

Wonderful to find WW This is a great boot, but 7.5 ww is more like an 8.5 in length. Back they go. Stylish and just the right weight for transition So sorry that I waited til the end of the season.

I have had a similar pair in an 8 and 1/2 W for several years and worn them to death. My foot keeps flattening out and the boots felt too tight so I went up a half size to 9WW. These are too long and VERY narrow in the toe for a WW. They are quite wide in the heel and ankle which is opposite of what I need. Also, the sole/heel narrows in from top to bottom which I find unattractive and less stable. Disappointing.

I bought these in a 8.5 WW based on the other reviews. I have never purchased this brand before so I wasn't sure. Anyhow, my normal size 8.5 is way too long and WW is way too wide. The top of the boot just fit with a little room. I am not sure I love them anyhow and I would have to love them for $375! I am going to try the Evitta.

I ordered both La Canadiene Elizabeth and Evitta in the wide to compare to the medium in both. I am keeping only the cute Evitta in the 11M. Suggesting La Canadienne increase the upper boots' circumference a bit so one can zip the boot all the way - especially in the wide sizes.

The combination of the heel and inaccurate fit made these feel unstable to me.

Very disappointed in these boots. They are extremely long and therefore unflattering to larger feet. Based on the other reviews, I bought a size larger (12) along with my regular size (11). The 12 was a good 2" longer than my feet, and the 11 was about 1 1/2" longer. Both pairs were uncomfortably narrow (my feet are on the wider side of medium). Back they went.

These boots are just not well made. The sizing is odd: they are very long and narrow. Also the heels are uneven, so the boots push your foot in as you walk. Really a poor showing by la canadienne.
