The fit is just right. I order half size bigger than usual to be safe and they fit great with plenty of extra room for a pad if necessary but it was not necessary. They wear well and easy to get on and off. I bought these shoes in January and have worn them every day since. They are so comfy. I love them! I recommend these shoes if you are wondering and they are worth every penny!

I was really happy to find nice boots in narrow width! I purchased these for a trip to London, expecting to use them in rainy weather. They help up very well and kept my feet dry and warm. My only complaint is that the arch support is not great, but I will try my orthotics and see if I can improve that.

I love this boots and they arrived just in time for use in winter snow. I have been thinking about these boots for over one year, and finally pulled the trigger. I have a narrow foot AAA, and these work well with wool socks. I really like how they look with tights, leggings, jeans and skirts.

A gorgeous boot! Perfect heel height, I had to return because it's a little tight in the lower leg.

BEST BOOTS EVARRRR! I have wide to extra wide feet that are partially clubbed (meaning they tilt sideways and curl inward slightly - not so you can notice, but it affects shoe fit), size 10.5, which usually means a snug 10 or a long 11. I have been in love from afar with La Canadienne boots for about eight years now. The reviews kept me from buying any. I couldn't imagine getting my big feet and chubby calves into a pair. Zappos gave me hope by listing the circumference of this boot though, so I took a chance. I ordered these, Elizabeth, and also Blanche in 10WW. I tried not to get excited because I was sure they wouldn't fit. I was correct about the Blanche boots. My calves are about an inch too wide. Back in the box. Then I tried these on and they fit! They are snug, but very comfortable. They are very long for 10s, but very narrow for WWs. They fit like a regular wide, and only just. But they will stretch to fit perfectly. They barely require any breaking in. I wore them out to dinner and my usually sore, weird feet felt great and looked sleek. I can't tell you how excited I am about this unlikely turn of events. I struggle with these feet every day! I wish more of this brand came in WW. Please make it so? The Felicia calls to me.

I bought these for an upcoming trip to NYC. This morning I tried them on for fit and kept them on! It's like I'm wearing slippers at work :) I suspect they will be perfect for travel too.

I tried four pairs of La Canadienne boots before settling on these (thank you Zappos). They cost more than I typically spend, but I was determined to find waterproof, comfortable boots for business, casual and travel wear this winter. This was a tall order, but I hate getting wet feet or wearing clunky casual boots with a suit. These are stylish, sleek and comfortable, with a small, cute heel. People rave about this brand, and ONLY Zappos offers a wide width which gives me maximum comfort and room for some cozy socks. Now I'm ready for winter.

Beautiful boot - I ordered a size larger 11W thinking I needed the length. No - I am reordering my regular size 10B in this boot and hope it works for me.

This product is lovely. It fit extremely well in the foot, but sadly the top was very tight for me, I have very muscular calves. Could not zip completely without pinching. If it had been a bit shorter, I would never give it up! 4 stars just due to tight top.

I love these boots. They are a bit too narrow so am returning them for a 9W. They are classy and nice looking. I am looking forward to wearing the new pair.

After almost 10 years of honorable service, it was time for my first pair of La Canadienne boots (older version of Felicia) to retire. The old pair was 7W (I usually wear 7M), which was almost but not quite right (tight). I settled on Elizabeth in 7 1/2 wide for my high-instep, buniony, narrow-heeled feet. The extra width was crucial for my bunions, but the real key to comfort, oddly, was extra length (7 1/2 rather than my usual 7) so that the top of my tall foot isn't compressed. I'll add inserts to cushion the not-so-springy footbed. I like this style with tights and skirts and with dressy or casual pants. My old pair kept my feet warm and dry through many short but cold, wet, mid-South winters, and accompanied me on wintry trips Up North and abroad. La Canadienne boots are worth every penny.

I Love La Canadienne boots and Narrow (AA) widths are hard to find. These fit perfectly right out of the box and I am sure that I will be using them for many cold winters to come. This brand is expensive but the quality is worth it. However, these boots were available elsewhere, on sale, but only in a medium width. I spoke to a Zappos representative and was told they do not match a competitor's price or offer an accommodation. I chose to order the Zappos narrow width rather than the medium so I could have the best possible fit. I only recently discovered Zappos and have become a VP customer. I generally order the Munro American brand which is also expensive. Other companies have policies which award their best customers discounts etc. I hope Zappos will consider altering their policy.

Excellent. Multifunctional. Use with skirt-dressed up. Wear with pants dress down. Elegant. Comfortable. Light. Soft. Practical. Yes, expensive! But worth it. My first pair of this brand. My size 8.5. Always buy 9. This 8.5 is good fit.

These are really good comfortable boots. I have had screws in my ankle and many shoes and boots rub me uncomfortably, but not these. They are very neat and dressy.

I have narrow feet. I have finally found a pair of shoes that fit like a glove. I did have to wear them a bit for them to stretch; they are suede so the stretched quickly (4 hours of wear).

Finally! This is the boot I've been looking for! I have a pair of seven-year old Camper ankle booties that I love, and was looking for a good replacement/alternative in black. These boots could be twins to the Camper pair in terms of fit and style. I'm so relieved and happy that I found these booties. They are a bit more (like by twice) costly than I wanted to pay, but I'm keeping these, they are worth it.

Best brand of boots I ever purchased. Water repellant. Classy. Great fit. Arch support. I can't say enough about the quality of this manufacturer. I have two different styles and love them both.

Alternated this boot with an Ecco Gortex, also from Zappos. They were both great. Offered moderate to high arch support. Comfortable to get on and off even after 9 hours on a plane. Looked great. Highly recommend.

Purchased these last year, size 8M, true to size & super comfortable, can be worn for walking all day. Also good looking & stylish. Most expensive shoe I'd purchased at that point, well worth it. Liked them so much I wanted a brown pair, so I didn't hesitate to order another style that just arrived, the "Sharon". Like the Elizabeth, the Sharon feels great right out of the box, can't wait to wear them. The fact that they're waterproof is a great bonus.

I was thrilled to find this boot in 8W as I'm usually forced to order an 8.5 medium in both boots and shoes. Boot fits beautifully, feet are dry in rain and warm (but not sweaty). Sole of shoe cushions feet almost as well as my Nike sneakers.

I really liked the style and feel of this boot, however, the 11M was a bit too wide. Really needed the 11N, so this did not work for me. However, they were not a real wide boot as some are, just a little too wide. I think if someone was between a N and a M, it would work for them.

A high quality boot, but in my usual size ran narrow even in the WW width. The leather is stretching enough that the boot is still comfortable, but my wide forefoot now distorts the shape of the shoe.

Boots are sleek looking and stylish. If you have a bunion, or outside foot bone that is painful in other shoes, these boots will NOT cause an issue for you - the suede is soft and their smooth across both sides of your feet, so no pressure points, as long as you get the proper width. These run NARROW. I wear a 8M in all shoes but these; after reading the reviews I ordered the 8WW, (which felt more like a M US width as others had commented and would have been fine for me); however, the length on the size 8 is a full inch longer than any shoe I own. In addition, I couldn't zip them the whole way on my ankle, even with a thin dress sock; I don't have "cankles", people often refer to my feminine ankles. The lining is soft & "bushed"; my daughter who often wears boots without socks, would love that feature because they wouldn't rub her skin. Soles seem as if they'd be slip resistant. So in summary, for me they ran long, and narrow in both width and at the ankle. I really wanted to make these work because they're pretty for a warm rain-resistant boot & I need that for a trip to NYC soon.
