This is a very attractive shoe, but it seems to run narrow. I believe it to be a nice shoe otherwise, it's not too bulky, and the heel is lifted just enough for me.I'm going to try a wide.

I have been a Clarks shoe fan for years. They last really well and are good quality and comfortable for my poor old foot with the heel spur. This pair does the same thing, and believe me, it's not easy finding good shoes with a bit of style and reasonable price that feel comfortable and I can put orthotics in if I feel like it.

I usually wear a AA, however AA was too narrow and I will reorder in the M width. A wonderful shoe and I would highly recommend you try this shoe.

I am having trouble with my feet, and was advised to get New Balance shoes. Canadian Footwear did not have any that fit, so they suggested these Clarks Wave shoes. They were hard to get used to at first, a little heavier than I was used to. Also, I don't normally wear tracks. They are comfortable, as they are lower at the ankle, but they have not helped my problem as yet. I have to go back to the Podiatrist to find out what to do next. Can't blame the shoe, but they are not bad looking....and I have gotten used to wearing them with dress pants for work.

I'm looking for a good walking shoe for a trip. On the plus side, the shoe has a removable insole. On the downside, styling is clunky. I've never understood why comfort seems to be linked to unattractive. I'm an 8 and tried both an 8 and 8.5 but couldn't get comfortable. I put my insole in the 8.5 but it wasn't a fix. The hunt continues.

I bought these for a long overseas trip and am regretting that decision. My feet are killing me and I've had to purchase a replacement. Yes, I did wear these around the house before we left, and I thought they'd be fine. They'd be ok, I think for occasional wear. Do not recommend for serious walking.

Based on earlier reviews, I tried to order a wider size than my normal "B", but it wasn't available in my size. That was unfortunate -- this shoe sits so low on my foot that I feel the need to lace it tightly to keep it from slipping off my heel, and this leaves my toes numb before long. Not a great success for me, although I usually have excellent luck with Clarks.

While the shoe itself fits well the insole/padding is too soft/squishy and lacks support. I do a lot of urban walking and find this shoe very uncomfortable for long walks. Its okay if I don't plan on doing much walking like grocery shopping or wearing around the office.

Shoe looked OK but the heel just wasn't narrow enough. Nothing to really cup the back of my foot.

I ordered these a 1/2 size larger and a wider size than I normally take, because I need a pair of supportive waterproof walking shoes that I can walk and stand in for hours and days at a time. Other reviews said they run narrow. I also do better with arch support inserts so I wanted to be sure I had room in the shoe for the inserts so I went with the larger-than-usual size. Unfortunately they were too big for me, and definitely too wide. However, I LOVE the look of these shoes (most seriously supportive walk/hiking shoes are clunkier than these sleek, hip-sneaker-like shoes). And they felt stable and sturdy. I would have tried them in a smaller size, but I did buy a pair of Merrell's in the same order that fit right so I stuck with the Merrell's and sent these Clark's back rather than exchanging for a smaller size. If the other shoe in my order hadn't fit, the Clark's would have been my top choice for exchanging for a better fit because I really liked the look and the feel.

This is the 3rd time I've bought this shoe. I wear 11W and it is comfortable and good looking. This last shoe has only lasted about 4 months though. The heel seems to be wearing down quickly and affects my walking. Don't know if the manufacturer has changed and cheaper materials are being used. For me, it is too expensive of a shoe to only last 4 months.

I bought these shoe's because of the great reviews and I am on my feet for 8 hours a day. (working on a cement floor) In addition to the shoes I also purchased an additional memory foam orthotic. When I tried them on they felt wonderful, but towards the end of the day my feet hurt so bad. I am truly disappointed in them. I did not purchase them from this website, but from a very reputable shoe store ,who also recommended them to me. Unfortunately it turned out to be a very expensive lesson. I was not able to return the shoes because I had worn them outside.

Odd and uncomfortable higher heel, shoves toe into bed. Maybe for a high heel wearer.

Usually wear a 11W or 11.5. 12 felt comfortable (in store) but wore them about 2-3 hours today and my feet hurt all over. Next time I will order these from Zappos and just wear them around the house for awhile so I can make sure they fit. Style is very cute. I would love these if they didn't crunch my feet. Normally I don't need a W in 12 from Clarks so this was disappointing. Was looking for pair I could take to Vegas and be okay with walking a bit.

I used to depend on Clarks for excellent fit and comfort. I have narrow feet, and live an active lifestyle. For the last year, these shoes have been stiffer and not consistently narrow. I presume they outsource manufacturing, and wonder if they changed manufacturers. My advice: the minute they arrive, try them on and walk around the house to make sure they are a perfect fit. If not, return them right away & order a different size.

I really wanted to like this shoe. The length was good and the narrow width was good except in the heel where it seemed wide. Also, across the top, the leather was very stiff and it felt as if it would rub a blister if I wore it very long.

These felt comfortable putting on, even though they were stiff. After wearing them in my house to try them out, I found that they still fit too wide for a narrow foot, even after tightening the laces. Also, the tongue on the upper rubbed across the top of my foot.

The look of these was great, I really wanted to keep them. Unfortunately there was no arch support and the heel felt extremely hard. Normally Clarks work well for my narrowish feet, but not this time.

I really wanted to like this shoe! I was attracted to the leather upper - and style. I was also very happy to see an option for D width. Alas ... they are being returned. Even with the D width, this shoe was way too narrow across the ball of the foot. I realized right away that walking around in them for a little bit just wasn't going to relax the shoe enough to be comfortable. The blue shoe is quite attractive and could have been worn with jeans, pants or even a casual skirt. Very classy! I just wish they had fit.

I have had these Clark's for a couple of years or so now. While I do love them and have found them the perfect choice for casual dress in the fall/winter/spring, I am quite disappointed that the heels on the sole have just shredded in spots. I have worn them on city streets and sidewalks, but not on rough gravel. Nonetheless, the heels are shredding (pieces of heel can be picked off). Where this happens (outside heel on both feet) may be due to how my foot strikes the ground, and I have worn them often (but certainly not exclusively). That said, these are not inexpensive shoes, and I expected better wear from Clark's.-- especially for this price. I hope that Clark's has discovered this flaw and has upgraded the quality of the soles. i would love to buy a new pair, but hesitate to make this investment after my experience.

I am on a seemingly never ending hunt for women's wide hiking shoes that are actually wide. Like all of the others I have tried the wide width in these shoes was no wider than a regular width women's shoe. Very disappointing. I also felt like the heel cup/back ankle was very shallow causing a lot of movement in the heel. They felt more like a rugged casual shoe rather than an actual outdoor/hiking shoe. They are probably nice casual shoes if you don't have a wide foot, but it's very frustrating when shoes come in a wide width and it is not actually wide.

Was disapointed in these shoes! They are not deep enough to take orthotics even with the insole removed. Have to return. Oherwise are nice looking.

These are very well made and seem like they'd be comfortable, but unfortunately, they aren't for inward pronators because of the angle of the base of the sole around the arch. It's very flexible and not supportive if your ankles tend to roll more than about 15% toward each other.

This is a good looking, casual shoe. I purchased it because I really wanted a comfortable and supportive shoe to walk in. The footbed is very sturdy and does not move. Some may like that, but I was hoping for more of a cushion effect. Unfortunately, I had to wear the shoes for awhile before coming to this conclusion. If I could, I would return for something more cushy, but I do think these will hold up and they look good.
