Great shoe. Very comfortable but not as much as the Waves I had before. Better looking. Changed the cute laces to plain black so I can wear to work. Walk half mile from parking to my office each way. Up and down stairs. Long twelve hour days. Fine for the short walk, but feet get tired sometimes. Will buy again.

Toe area is a little too narrow, had to return for a wide. Great looking shoe with good arch support. If you're going to wear this shoe for hiking in summer when feet swell I would order the wide.

Nearly perfect. This is a really comfortable shoe. In the two weeks since I've had them, these are the shoes I've put on for casual wear. I've taken several 3-5 mile walks in them and they really feel good on my feet. My only problem is the narrow width slips a little bit on my heels. So far, though, it hasn't caused any blisters or discomfort. Maybe a little bit of movement isn't really a problem. Happily, the trim on the navy shoe is more of a light gray than the white that I expected. Before purchasing this shoe I had returned the Merrell Mimosa Lace. That shoe was one that I wanted to work - it's such a nice looking shoe - but it rubbed under my ankles. I'm so glad that I found this Clarks alternative because it looks even better and is way more comfortable. Zappos is great to purchase from. I love the service. The color and size I needed were out of stock when I first saw the shoe, but I requested to be informed of when it was in. Once the email came, I purchased them the same day and had them the next.

This shoe is very comfortable. There is a tiny amount of rubbing as my heel slides slightly, but not enough to cause a blister (and my heels blister very easily). If I ordered the next size down, my toes would rub. I wore them shopping recently and after a long day of being on my feet and they still felt great at the end of the day. My orthotics fit inside this shoe. They have become my go-to shoe. They look great with jeans and khaki's. I would love to purchase them in a couple of different colors.

I love the way these shoes look. Very stylish, much less clunky than standard tennis shoes. Just cute. I bought them to wear when visiting NYC. I knew I'd be walking a lot - as much as my feet would allow - and did not want to brand myself as a tourist in my clunky, though supportive, New Balance running shoes. Unfortunately, they were not as comfortable for walking as I'd like. I have a wide foot, have no trouble admitting it, and bought the W version of the shoe. I'm able often to buy a standard width in Keen's or Ahnu and get away with it, but these Clarks, even in the W, were too narrow for my foot. After 3 days in NYC, my feet were pretty miserable and I reverted to the tennis shoes (which I brought just in case). I will continue to wear the Clarks around the house, to the grocery store, etc where I want a sturdy, comfortable shoe, but I can no longer rely them on them as serious footwear. I wish this shoe could be made for truly wide feet: wider in the toes and higher in the toe box.

This is a very attractive shoe, but it seems to run narrow. I believe it to be a nice shoe otherwise, it's not too bulky, and the heel is lifted just enough for me.I'm going to try a wide.

I have been a Clarks shoe fan for years. They last really well and are good quality and comfortable for my poor old foot with the heel spur. This pair does the same thing, and believe me, it's not easy finding good shoes with a bit of style and reasonable price that feel comfortable and I can put orthotics in if I feel like it.

I am having trouble with my feet, and was advised to get New Balance shoes. Canadian Footwear did not have any that fit, so they suggested these Clarks Wave shoes. They were hard to get used to at first, a little heavier than I was used to. Also, I don't normally wear tracks. They are comfortable, as they are lower at the ankle, but they have not helped my problem as yet. I have to go back to the Podiatrist to find out what to do next. Can't blame the shoe, but they are not bad looking....and I have gotten used to wearing them with dress pants for work.

I'm looking for a good walking shoe for a trip. On the plus side, the shoe has a removable insole. On the downside, styling is clunky. I've never understood why comfort seems to be linked to unattractive. I'm an 8 and tried both an 8 and 8.5 but couldn't get comfortable. I put my insole in the 8.5 but it wasn't a fix. The hunt continues.

I bought these for a long overseas trip and am regretting that decision. My feet are killing me and I've had to purchase a replacement. Yes, I did wear these around the house before we left, and I thought they'd be fine. They'd be ok, I think for occasional wear. Do not recommend for serious walking.

Based on earlier reviews, I tried to order a wider size than my normal "B", but it wasn't available in my size. That was unfortunate -- this shoe sits so low on my foot that I feel the need to lace it tightly to keep it from slipping off my heel, and this leaves my toes numb before long. Not a great success for me, although I usually have excellent luck with Clarks.

While the shoe itself fits well the insole/padding is too soft/squishy and lacks support. I do a lot of urban walking and find this shoe very uncomfortable for long walks. Its okay if I don't plan on doing much walking like grocery shopping or wearing around the office.

Shoe looked OK but the heel just wasn't narrow enough. Nothing to really cup the back of my foot.

I ordered these a 1/2 size larger and a wider size than I normally take, because I need a pair of supportive waterproof walking shoes that I can walk and stand in for hours and days at a time. Other reviews said they run narrow. I also do better with arch support inserts so I wanted to be sure I had room in the shoe for the inserts so I went with the larger-than-usual size. Unfortunately they were too big for me, and definitely too wide. However, I LOVE the look of these shoes (most seriously supportive walk/hiking shoes are clunkier than these sleek, hip-sneaker-like shoes). And they felt stable and sturdy. I would have tried them in a smaller size, but I did buy a pair of Merrell's in the same order that fit right so I stuck with the Merrell's and sent these Clark's back rather than exchanging for a smaller size. If the other shoe in my order hadn't fit, the Clark's would have been my top choice for exchanging for a better fit because I really liked the look and the feel.

This is the 3rd time I've bought this shoe. I wear 11W and it is comfortable and good looking. This last shoe has only lasted about 4 months though. The heel seems to be wearing down quickly and affects my walking. Don't know if the manufacturer has changed and cheaper materials are being used. For me, it is too expensive of a shoe to only last 4 months.

I bought these shoe's because of the great reviews and I am on my feet for 8 hours a day. (working on a cement floor) In addition to the shoes I also purchased an additional memory foam orthotic. When I tried them on they felt wonderful, but towards the end of the day my feet hurt so bad. I am truly disappointed in them. I did not purchase them from this website, but from a very reputable shoe store ,who also recommended them to me. Unfortunately it turned out to be a very expensive lesson. I was not able to return the shoes because I had worn them outside.

Odd and uncomfortable higher heel, shoves toe into bed. Maybe for a high heel wearer.

Usually wear a 11W or 11.5. 12 felt comfortable (in store) but wore them about 2-3 hours today and my feet hurt all over. Next time I will order these from Zappos and just wear them around the house for awhile so I can make sure they fit. Style is very cute. I would love these if they didn't crunch my feet. Normally I don't need a W in 12 from Clarks so this was disappointing. Was looking for pair I could take to Vegas and be okay with walking a bit.

I used to depend on Clarks for excellent fit and comfort. I have narrow feet, and live an active lifestyle. For the last year, these shoes have been stiffer and not consistently narrow. I presume they outsource manufacturing, and wonder if they changed manufacturers. My advice: the minute they arrive, try them on and walk around the house to make sure they are a perfect fit. If not, return them right away & order a different size.

I really wanted to like this shoe. The length was good and the narrow width was good except in the heel where it seemed wide. Also, across the top, the leather was very stiff and it felt as if it would rub a blister if I wore it very long.

These felt comfortable putting on, even though they were stiff. After wearing them in my house to try them out, I found that they still fit too wide for a narrow foot, even after tightening the laces. Also, the tongue on the upper rubbed across the top of my foot.

The look of these was great, I really wanted to keep them. Unfortunately there was no arch support and the heel felt extremely hard. Normally Clarks work well for my narrowish feet, but not this time.

I really wanted to like this shoe! I was attracted to the leather upper - and style. I was also very happy to see an option for D width. Alas ... they are being returned. Even with the D width, this shoe was way too narrow across the ball of the foot. I realized right away that walking around in them for a little bit just wasn't going to relax the shoe enough to be comfortable. The blue shoe is quite attractive and could have been worn with jeans, pants or even a casual skirt. Very classy! I just wish they had fit.

I have had these Clark's for a couple of years or so now. While I do love them and have found them the perfect choice for casual dress in the fall/winter/spring, I am quite disappointed that the heels on the sole have just shredded in spots. I have worn them on city streets and sidewalks, but not on rough gravel. Nonetheless, the heels are shredding (pieces of heel can be picked off). Where this happens (outside heel on both feet) may be due to how my foot strikes the ground, and I have worn them often (but certainly not exclusively). That said, these are not inexpensive shoes, and I expected better wear from Clark's.-- especially for this price. I hope that Clark's has discovered this flaw and has upgraded the quality of the soles. i would love to buy a new pair, but hesitate to make this investment after my experience.
