I donated this pair to the local homeless shelter after 3 five mile walks. Went to the local shoe store and bought a pair of mx-608-4vb (608) with the non-slip soles...much better.

This product (577 Black hook & loop shoes) are nowhere as good as previous shoes I have purchased from your company. First they are cheaply made, second your size and width do not meet previous sizes, the toe of the shoe is quite a bit narrower than previous shoes. I have been wearing New Balance shoes for more than 20 years. I am not sue if I will purchase again.

As a big guy in the Big and Tall, I need a tennis shoe I don;t have to tie and can slip on and off. When you slip these shoes on, the back of the shoe above the heel always drops over, bends, folds over, and you have to constantly work your foot in and out to get it to bend back. Painful, especially during those times your feet are swollen. 2nd pair I've bought because it is the ONLY shoe in my size that is a white, normal, velcro shoe. Going to shop elsewhere I think and try to find another place to buy my shoes. Just not worth it here.

I am satisfied with the fit and comfort of these shoes. The last few years, I have had a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. I am very impressed with your service. I received the shoes in just 2 days. The product quality is also excellent.

I bought these shoes even after reading some of the negative comments. So glad I did. They fit great. The first time I wore them the velcro would not go completely across. But after wearing that first time the velcro does go across completely now. Plus the tongue was stiff but after wearing a few times, it is okay also. So glad I gave these shoes a try. And by the way, these are mens shoes but I am a woman who has wide feet and a woman wide slips on my heel but a mens M (D width) fit me perfectly.

Very comfortable. I would not recommend these shoes for someone with a high instep because the straps do not fasten well for someone like me who has a high instep.

Took advice to get half size larger and it worked out well. Happy with ordering online. Will likely do again.

Arrived in two days, good fit

I'd previously purchased the black version of these shoes, and think they're pretty great. But, for walking in the summer, I thought the black might be too hot... so I purchased these white ones. Man, are these things bright white. There's absolutely nothing design-wise to break up the whiteness of these shoes. I tried them on in my house, and as expected found them very comfortable... but I just couldn't get past the color, even inside. So the shoes went back to LL Bean, and I replaced them with the New Balance 608v4. If the color doesn't bother you, these shoes are great. If you can handle a glaringly white shoe, I highly recommend these. I love the fit and comfort, I love the hook-and-loop closures - I just can't handle the color.

Fit good from the beginning. They have fast become my favorite pair of shoes! As suggested I purchased them 1/2 size larger, and fit the first time I put them on.

I bought these for my dad who has Alzheimer's & is in a nursing home. The nurses wanted him to have shoes with a hook & loop closure. These shoes are working out well.. They arrived in less than a week which was very helpful.Thanks for carrying this type of shoe.

Built on the same last as the 928 so fits the same foot. Uses more man-made materials so is a little tight at first but stretches to fit quickly. Good less expensive alternate to the 928. I use orthotics in all my shoes,
