Good: soft liner for comfortable feet to lay on. Not so: stiff after multiple outings, tongue to long

Good for other purposes like restaurants workers because of the rubber feel. I had to return it because it was not good for my personal taste.

Your photo shows the "lace up" version of my most recent purchase! I have donated the pair I mistakenly order some months ago as t I didn't check the box until after the return period! Had elapsed! I only wear the "hook and loop" version of the 577!

tongue stiff like a board and laces way too long.

Have bought these for a few years because they were made in . MADE IN NAM now. Sad.

I have been buying the se model New Bslance walking shoe for close to 10 years. earlier version assembler in US we practically indistructable even when soles were very worn. On the more current and costly assembled in Vietnam version, the leather detached from sole with less the 50 tread wear. Shoes were properly cared for.

I use the shoes for walking mediocre quality with little support

the 577 was what i waited for several months since it was not avaiable when i first looked for it. when it came i found that i could not secure the straps of the shoes because the sraps were too short. or my instep is too high. i had to retun them.

An otherwise excellent product ends up being unusable because the velcro straps are TOO SHORT (between 1" and 2" short). It is a shame because the design, mfg, attention to detail, quality of materials all combined make for an excellent shoe. I am very dissapointed because It is exactly what I need for my diabetic feet.

I love New Balance. So it's hard to write this review.However...I bought these sneakers twice..And both times the front up sneaker curls up and deforms...

use to wlak but their to stiff and hard. I need to return these.

I bought these hook and loop shoes for my father-in-law, who lives in a Memory Care assistance living center. The idea of the hook and loop was a great thought, since he has little strength to tie any shoe with laces, however I didn't expect the sole of the shoe to grab onto his low-pile carpet...the shoe grabbed onto the carpet and resulted in a terrible fall. Ihave since put these shoes away for fear of causes him further falls and injuries. Good shoe just not right shoe for him.

Velcro Strips too small. Top strap barely closes. Ordered size 14 but they are same size as old size 13 shoe i had. I need a size 13 1/2. Site said to order size larger since they run smaller.

Been purchasing this shoe for many years always 12D, this one was was tight cause blisters and the Hook-and-Loop is to short, barely managed to connect, Would have returned but I wore them to give it chance. No luck

Overall the shoe fits good, the only real problem is the strap on the shoe, it is to short and does not reach across the shoe.

This is my fourth pair of these shoes, and I must say that the quality has been denigrated. The velcro straps do not cover the entire velcro attachments. They used to cover the entire velcro attachments, but now, they are too short. They are easy to put on and take off, and they are comfortable, but I may have to seek the next pair from another retailer.

I love NB shoes. I am retired now and wore the sister product of this shoe in black with laces for 10+ years and they were great. This shoe unfortunately is just not comfortable. It chafes the top of my arch and the fit with the straps is just not comfortable ... the inside of the shoe just feels rough. Anyway .. I will always be an NB customer .. just not with this shoe.

Bought on price. Should have stuck with my tried and true 813 model. Not as comfortable and left shoe squeaks. Oh, well. I hope the squeak goes away and I'll be happy. Back to good old No. 813 next time. Happy with New Balance delivery and overall quality.

I ordered extra wide the fit is ok, but the straps only come up to half the front making the shoe look too small.

I'm disappointed. My previous pair held up for half a decade.
