The fit was very good. The comfort is great however, the velcro straps are an inch or so too short for a slightly higher in-step. Overall, I am pleased and will need to shrink my foot just a tad to be more comfortable. (Just kidding) I would buy them again.

I like these shoes because they are very light and comfortable on my feet

This is the second time I am buying the same model of shoes. First time was about five years ago and I have to replace due to heavy use. Very comfortable shoes that can take abuse. However, there are stylistic changes in the current model which I am not sure they improve the appearance of these shoes. Also, I'm a bit unsure about the straps in the new model as they appear to be shorter. I will give the new pair a try and see if it can match its predecessor ...

Good fit. Prefer grey and white rather than plain white, like a previous lace pair ordered from LLB. Top strap too short and therefore too tight. Rubs on one foot against my instep. All in all, prefer lace type to strap.

These shoes proved to be the best solution for my husband, who has one foot grossly swollen and the other still slim. I am grateful to LLBean's customer service that was so helpful in determining best size. The only improvement I could wish for is a slight extension of the velcro on the adjustable straps, which would make it even easier to put on the shoes and keep them neatly closed..

These shoes met all expectations. I have a developing "hammer toe" problem, requiring good toe room clearance. This shoe provided me with a good, comfortable shoe fairly priced.

I bought these shoes for my son, he says they are comfortable and is enjoying them.

I'm sure this shoe is good for anyone, but it specifically meets the needs of a family member who wears a foot brace. In 4E it is wide enough and flexible enough to fit the brace inside once the insole is removed. The non-marking sole is great too. The identical shoe provided by a medical facility had a marking sole, so our home was covered with black rubber. Not so with these shoes! While LLBean is not the only provider, they were the only place with these shoes in stock when we needed them.

I have been wearing a EE in this style for years. I ordered an EE but it was definitely too narrow...I have returned them to be replaced with EEEE and I trust they will be fine.

I have MS and must use a brace to help my drop foot. Because of this, I need a velcro walking shoe. I used to use Rockport and they discontinued the shoe. I tried other shoes and they just do not fit! In the past, I have ordered shoes from L.L. Bean, so I tried them again They always fit, are durable, and are delivered on time. The shoes fit and are good quality. I will use L.L. Bean for this shoe from now on!!

I have ordered several pairs of these shoes for my Papa. Either his feet got bigger, or the velcro strap isn't long enough. I am going to a fabric shop to add on another piece of velcro because he loves these shoes!

This shoe is exactly what I wanted, except that it as way too narrow, darn it. I'm going to exchange them for a sport sandal I liked, Clarks Un Bridge Leather. I've had trouble getting shoes that are wide enough.My last pair of New Balance were Triple E and were just fine, still are. These were Four E, and nowhere near my size. They were a dandy shoe, for the price, and I wish I could have used them

Shoes are a replacement for an old pair (not LLB) that had become worn out. They are better than the ones they replaced in many ways. I recieved them at my home in less then two days.

So far (I've only had them a couple of weeks), they are fine. They are reasonably comfortable, and they are easy to get on and off.

I chose these shoes because I often have trouble tying and untying shoe laces -- the velcro straps work well, solve that problem The shoes are pretty comfy, too, I like 'em.

this item was not in the store but item was ordered before I left . Would like to see 6E offered but i got the widest carried. this is my 3rd pair from LL Bean. Very well satisfied

Very comfortable & easy to put on--- inner soles not durable---purchased 3 pair-inner sole did not last 1 month on 1st ones .Bean exchanged with 2nd pair,lasted 3 mos. before inner sole deteriorated. am on 3rd pair hoping for better results

Both my husband and I ordered these, a half size larger than normal, and are very satisfied with them. We especially like the velcro closures as it's much easier for us older folks.

It is comfortable but,IF you have a full foot on top, the strap will be on the short side when you go to close it. The shoe makes the grade in every other aspect and I recommend it to you--just the strap could be better.
