Have several pairs of 577's in various states of disrepair. Time for a new pair to serve as my everyday shoes, as the youngest pair, while still sound, do not look 'pretty' enough for going out in public, or so says my wife. Recently got a pair of 800-something shoes, but they are too stiff. They basically look the same or similar to the 577's, but don't seem to flex as well. On top of that, the 577's are a LOT less expensive!! 577's forever!

I purchased these shoes because the quality of the brand I've been using has gotten ridiculously bad AND did not seem to fit as well as they have in the past. Now, the NB shoes seem tobe of better quality and the fit is better in some areas except that they could use more material in the tops. We've all seen people whose feet looked as if they were swelling out of their shoes, and the lack of material in the "instep" of these shoes cause them not to close fully and gives that appearance WITHOUT any issue of swelling. Overall the shoes are good. I prefer asingle strap to the double straps on these shoes, but I knew that prior to ordering. If they hold up well, I will likely order again.

It took me some time to find a sneaker that fit my feet well, and the New Balance did the trick.

These are a great fit and easy to put on. I would definitely buy them again.

So I always buy New Balance size 8 wide sneakers, which this recent purchase is. For some reason this pair feels a little tight. I looked at a comfortable older pair of N B sneakers they are the same size but much more roomier. Are you making these sneakers smaller? Not sure why the same brand and size a few years later is now somewhat tighter. This is disappointing.

I have purchased this same model for five or six years now. I buy a new pair every six months. This is because I suffered from Plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist recommended new balance sneakers for the support they give. I have used other, cheaper brands in this style and they do not support the feet as New Balance does.

This is the third time I have purchased these shoes, finding my size 4E without New Balance is hopeless I love them as I walk 3 miles several days a week and they are so comfortable

Comfortable right out of the box, but proved squeaky in quiet settings, and warmer than other New Balance models. Also retained more oder than other New Balance models, perhaps due to lack of ventilation. Ideal for a noisy, cold environment!

I previously purchased several pairs that were great. This pair had no quality control. the base of the tongue on both shoes is very heavy and irritates both feet. Both tongues were sown in crooked so they immediately shift to the side after just a few steps creating discomfort. A one star rating exceeds the quality.

Within 2 weeks, one of the Velcro snaps began to come unsewed. Not a happy camper. Took it to a shoe repair shop rather than trying to send it back to you for repair.
