Comfortable Get for standing look period of time

I am 73 years old and try to walk between 15 to 20 miles a week, These shoes are great.

The top closure on the shoes that I received were mounted too high up on the shoe thus making the strap to short to close properly. Barely an eighth of an inch becomes fully engaged. Should that strap come undone while jogging it could result in injuries to the ankle, knee, or in the event of a fall, much worse. I see from other reviews of these shoes that others have had this same problems. I am rather surprised that a recall has not been issued.

I have been wearing these for 6 years. I buy at least 2 pair a year. My podiatrist even likes them. He says they help my foot condition. The also clean up very easily. Easy on easy off. Great for seniors.

Wear different pair each day. Very comfortable and good liiking.

Same size as I always order. Way too small. Wanted to talk to someone but that does not seem possible so I just returned them.

I have narrow feet. I ordered the "standard" width, I could not wear them they were so tight. I returned them and got "wide" width. They fit great!

These walking sneakers are comfortable, long lasting, good fit

After years of settling, we bumped up the budget and it was so worth it.

These are for My 96 year old Father in Law. He's used to Military dress shoes. He loved these the moment he put them on. The only issue is the Velcro closures are not long enough. He can close them but with some difficulty.

This New Balance walking shoe is a great value. The construction appears to be as good of quality as much higher priced shoes. I find them very comfortable and the fit gives great support for long walks.

The shoes look great and are nonslip it my one problem is when I tie them they cause pain where the tongue meets the top of the shoe. I have even tried a looser knot up top but still some discomfort. I am hoping with a bit more break in they will feel better.

Good comfortable shoe. Leather upper good sturdy solidly build.

I use these for everyday wear although each time I buy new ones I only wear them for dress. The reason I rated them low is because I was disappointed in the delivery notification this time around.

I am satisfied with this product , very easy to put on. Runs a little tight , I thought the width would be wider.

I have bought the 577 for my work shoe. The fit well, offer support, and are just great to wear. I walk up to five to eight miles per day at work and these shoes make it a breeze. And, I will keep on buying them as long as I am working!

The Size and Quality is consistent with other NB's that I purchased. Now my grandsons have stopped complaining that I am taking too long to put my shoes on. These are comfortable and the shoe toe provides plenty of room for my toes. These are my first shoes with Velcro and the Velcro strapping seems very sturdy. At this point I do not know how it will compare with the NB's they are replacing, a pair of 2 year old NB's that I wore constantly. I will continue to purchase and wear New Balance Shoes, these are great.

I use New Balance for work and play and have for over 10 years. I don't buy anything else.

Great for walking ,comfortable. Fits great and feels very good when sitting.

My instep is large and the straps are difficult to fasten. Other wise the shoes are great. How do these shoes compare with the other two that are more expensive???

Bought these shoes for my daily walking. Hopefully they will last for a long time.

Use for working (retail). On confrre floor most of the day.

The 577 style I recently purchased is very comfortable and fit well at 13 wide. I'd worn the different versions of the NB 608 for many years, 10 at least, progressing through the versions. The most recent pairs, version 4 or 5 of the 608 just were not as comfortable or as stable as I remembered. The 577 is much more stable when walking, which I do about 20 miles a week outdoors. The recent sale price was equal or less than the 608. Assembled in USA was displayed on the box.
