I'm not sure why the picture shows a white shoe, I bought the black ones. I needed these for my husband who had a stroke and has a hard time with shoe laces. They fit well and look great!

577 walking shoeI have been wearing them for many years and they are comfortable and support my feet well. I am an old guy and it is extremely important to wear comfortable shoes with good support. Thank you! Keep up the good work.

This is the first shoe in a long time that actually is the size it claims to be. Shoes slipped right on and needed no "break-in" time to be comfortable. Velcro tie straps make it very easy to make precise adjustments to keep fit perfect. Sole has nice, firm, but cushiony feel to it. Makes long walks less painful.

This is a great shoe for my daily walk. It has a roomy toe area and a sturdy sole. I like the convenience of the Velcro straps and that the shoe is available in extra wide size.

These shoes are for an elderly man who can no longer tie his shoes and has trouble with swollen feet. They work very well.
I'd also recommend:
Right now for this person, any athletic or good looking shoe with Velcro.

I really like the shoes, infact I have wore the same kind for years, however now my size is never in stock , case in point I had to get white shoes because the black that I wanted had very limited sizes

Once a year, I order the New Balance Hook & Loop for my 66 yo brother. He wears a 10.5 Wide and the sizing is perfect. Brother fitness walks 3-5 miles a day and said the cushioning + support feel very good while giving him balance. That’s approximately 1400 miles in 350 days before needing another pair. Well worth the money. I hope they do not discontinue this style/size. In so far as my 3 Star Style rating ... let’s be honest, they are not “stylish”; however, they are a well constructed walking shoe.

My dad has been wearing this brand and model for YEARS. He really needed a FRESH pair, so I bought these for him. He likes them a lot and "now has two pairs of good shoes". (The old pair reeeeeaaaalllly should be discarded, (p.u.), but apparently the tread is still good.) Enjoy.

I've been wearing these shoes for years. They are very comfortable and last a long time.
I like the hook & loop closure because my dogs can't untie them, and there are no laces to get tangled in the chain on my bicycle.
Unfortunately, I've been trying to buy more in black for months. They don't carry my size (11 extra wide).

Couldn't find them at a regular store but they are exactly what my friend needed. The velcro is the main reason but the quality of new balance is the main reason they had to be from you. We couldn't get them at the local NB store so I got them online. Thank you so much.
