My husband just bought a pair of New Balance shoes from Kohl's and when we got home we noticed that they were made in Viet Nam. He thought all new NB shoes were made in the USA. He never would have bought them if he would have noticed that in the store. When did they start making those shoes out of the USA?

I've been wearing men's 577 for over 10 years! The overall padding can't be beat. I've tried other NB but NONE have beat 577 for comfort, fit, and surety of step.

Nice looking, comfortable, quality pair of tennis shoes. Nice to find tasteful looking tennis shoes without tacky colors or designs. Originally bought a size 10 and had to send back for a 10 1/2. I usually don't do reviews but I'll try this one. Finding shoes for me is a challenge! Size 14 wide. Local stores never have the correct size or enough selections. Zappos works out good. This New Balance was true to size. Feels good. Looks good. A bit pricey but I have few choices. Other online places did not offer the choices or good prices! Very, very easy to return the shoes that did not fit. I am happy and satisfied with Zappos and New Balance.

New Balance is a quality manufacturer. Shoes always fit perfectly and are the most comfortable I've ever worn. My senior citizen feet appreciate the support. Excellent design. One caution: initial fit a wee bit snug because leather will loosen with use/age. Can adjust by removing insert if desired.

My wife and I both use the 577 hook and loop walking shoes because of the ease of using them. I started using them because I was overweight and couldn't see to tie laces. But even after I lost weight I liked them because they were available in wide sizes.

The sheen of the leather has a quality feel and stylish appearance. It has the best arch support, and the box part
is perfect for allowing optimum room for toes, and the ball area and heel areas are right as you want, or need . If required by employer, your pears will more than likely want a pair also. The soles are firm, best support and yet feel soft. as well as very light .All things together add up to the finest shoe for standing and walking , style and allow the gait to move along just right. Top shelf shoe, and I may-well purchase another pair. If this sounds like what you need, by all means it is a great value in every aspect, respectfully.

A good, basic walking shoe. I had to settle for this model (Assembled in USA) rather than the more expensive version (fully made in the USA) due to the lack of a Size 15 in that model. Zappos' delivery was prompt, and product was in excellent shape.

Comfortable fit and enjoyable to wear for the work day. Sitting at a desk or just walking around it's a comfortable fitting pair of shoes. I find NB sneakers to run about 1/2 size smaller in the width so I ordered the EE instead of normal size and have no problems with the fit. I'm closer to an E than an EE, but in NB sneakers I always go the EE so they fit just right. Has good arch support, but if you have fallen arches or need more support you'll probably have to add an insert.
