I've been wearing these shoes for over 10 years. I'm retired, walk 3 miles daily on asphalt year round and find that the soles last as long or longer than any running or walking shoes I used prior to finding the MW577. They are nearly as comfortable as much more expensive shoes with softer soles which usually cost well over $100 but wear out more quickly and the difference in comfort is insignificant. I am a 13B and narrow is very difficult to find. Zappos does charge a bit more than some online sellers but the overnight shipping and return policy are worth the difference. And every pair received thus far looks like it is fresh from the factory. Thankfully, New Balance has not discontinued them. I've never found another walking shoe with all the advantages of these. In the past I did notice some squeaking in some pairs but not recently. When it did occur, it usually abated within a week or two.

I liked them so much for work this is my second pair.

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for almost 30 years. They are far superior to all of the other shoes in their price range. They offer superior construction which results in longer life, more comfort and simplistic, clean good looks. Nothing fancy just good, solid, well made shoes. I'll skip all the expensive "fashion statements" in favor of that anytime!

I bought these shoes for my husband who is a diabetic and has a lot of trouble with his feet and legs. He loves them and finds them to have the much needed support that he needs. We would recommend these shoes and will buy them again.

I ordered what I thought was my correct size, but alas, the shoe was too short. I obtained the free return UPS sticker and ordered the correct size. Zappos mailed the exchanged order right away, before receiving the order that was too small. They do things promptly, fairly, and are super to work with.

Shoe has a soft walk which is very desirable since I walk about 5 miles a day. This is the second pair of these shoes I've owned and I'm very satisfied with the sizing the feel and the looks.
