this is a very good shoe. this is third pair I bought and they are extremely comfortable and all feel the same. many times I buy the same model but they do not feel the same. all three of these shoes feel the same.

my children and i all use new balance shoes. this is our sixth or seventh pair of hook and loops.we would like to know how to purchase nb laces for all our other shoes.

I keep forgetting which model I buy but end up with it anyway. These are great shoes, worth the price, I'll wear them everyday for two years pounding the city pavement and they last. I always retire them after 2 years because the tread starts to get slick. Got to have good traction on the city sidewalks or you might slip and end up under a cab. I figured it out once and the cost comes to 11 cents a day. My feet are happy my back is happy my wallet is happy NB is happy. It's a win win for everyone

we have used new balance shoes for years as a family for running, sports, walking, and everyday shoes. the comfort, fit, and qualty have kept us as loyal customers. we have recommended these shoes to one and all. i just wish i could find nb replacement laces online.

I use these for my daily walks which vary from three to five miles in length. They fit well and I have no movement of my foot within the shoe. As some reviewers have stated, they do croak or make a slight rubbing noise. You can hear it, but it is not disruptive to conversation or thought. It is kind of like tinnitus. You can hear it if you concentrate on it, otherwise it is lost in the background.

We have been wearing NB Health Walking shoes for at least 10 years. We find them extremely comfortable. Since they do not vary from year to yea we are able to order new pairs as they wear out from use, without having to go to a store to try them on. Keep up the good work!

Hi, I do a lot of walking and these are the shoes I trust. I usually pick up a pair every 6 months or so as I have worn out the old ones by walking at that point. So may say that is, "boring," or , "safe,' As I staunchly refuse any other type of show and have been doing this since highschool. But what can I say, I'm a boring guy.

These shoes felt good on my feet from day one. So good infact I ordered a second pair. Both orders came on time and were packed very good. the bottom line is they fit and feel good on my feet.

This is at least the fourth pair of these shoes I've bought for my husband. He has an especially wide foot, and these come in a size that fits him. He especially likes the velcro closing that allows for easy on and off. He often wears the shoes all day long, and they provide much better support than others he has worn. Thanks, LL Bean, for carrying the extra wide size in a good quality shoe. We will definitely be buying again.

Unlike the other NB walking shoes I've bought over the past 10 years, this shoe is really well made. The white leather doesn't blister or peel when you get it wet. The tread hasn't separated from the sole of the shoe either. In the past I've even had the leather separate from the sole. This is the first time in a long time that none of those things has happened with these shoes. These are better made and better designed. Shocking...but true. If they can only keep this up then NB would be a really good shoe company again. I even bought another pair and hope they keep this model around for a long time because I will definitely buy more of them. I do not know about the other models though but this one is a winner.

I have ordered this item shoe several times, and get good wear out of them. Comfortable enough for casual wear, looks good enough to wear out in day errands, and even some gatherings. The hook-and-loop fastenings are so much easier to use than any kind of laces, as the fit may be adjusted so much more easily. And they are easy to keep up.

I've been wearing these shoes for over 10 years. I'm retired, walk 3 miles daily on asphalt year round and find that the soles last as long or longer than any running or walking shoes I used prior to finding the MW577. They are nearly as comfortable as much more expensive shoes with softer soles which usually cost well over $100 but wear out more quickly and the difference in comfort is insignificant. I am a 13B and narrow is very difficult to find. Zappos does charge a bit more than some online sellers but the overnight shipping and return policy are worth the difference. And every pair received thus far looks like it is fresh from the factory. Thankfully, New Balance has not discontinued them. I've never found another walking shoe with all the advantages of these. In the past I did notice some squeaking in some pairs but not recently. When it did occur, it usually abated within a week or two.

I am 69 years old and walk about 1 hour ever other day to stay healthy. I have tried many different walking shoes and in my opinion, the NB 577 is the best walking shoe on the planet. Very reasonable price for a shoe of such fine quality. Additionally, they are "Made in the USA." I always keep a new pair in the closet for future use. I highly recommend this product!
