I’m pleasantly surprised by these shoes. I’ve been having lots of foot pain from other shoes I wear, so I figured I’d give these a try. Given they’re relatively inexpensive I wasn’t expecting much, but I have to say, they’re fantastic. Very comfortable, excellent fit and support. Yeah, they look like my old man’s shoes, but I’m past the age of vanity myself. Good shoe.

Bought these to replace a pair my husband already has but are old & needed replacing. Are comfortable & give great support. He also needs an extra wide width & these have always been great. Hard to find extra wide sneakers, especially size 14

Very comfortable shoe, with plenty of cushioning and support. I walk 3-5 miles per day and they feel great. Usually last about a year.

Fine running/walking shoe for the money. I use them in the garden, the solid outer shell keeps water from my feet. The small air holes do not let in much water.

I’ve worn these shoes for over ten years. They survived 12hr shifts,as a nurse, working in a hospital and in a nursing home. Along with just regular walking for health. The fit is right on every time. My feet don’t hurt. And, they feel comfortable putting them on for the first time. I wear a men’s 577. It’s only because I’m a lady with a wide foot. Great shoes.

Great basic white shoe, I bought these for my father since he has such large feet and only wants to wear plain basic white shoes. These are holding up really nicely and he says fit is great

it a good shoe and Comfortable

First time I have reviewed shoes and only because these I am very pleased with them. Spent several hours walking the Mall in DC last week and these shoes were very comfortable. Being all black with the "N" invisible I can use them for business casual dress as well as every day use. They feel a bit snugger (but not tight) than my size Nike 9 sneakers. But that could be a brand thing, not sure. In any case, the shoes are great and Zappos a risk free purchase.

My husband loves these shoes. This is his 3rd pair. he wears them until they are not wearable! He walks all day and these are the best according to him!

Wear these at my job in warehouse. Lots of walking. Great shoe. Comfortable.After several months, show damage from wear on my heel inside the shoe. Not really something that would make me not recommend them.

First of all, I have funky wide feet! I always have a hard time finding the right shoe/sneaker. They are always tight on me, sometimes even with a wide shoe. This shoe is the only one of recent that I find extremely comfortable and fitting. For me, the arch support is great, the width is perfect, and they are light. Great job New Balance! (Kalso Earth Shoe was making great shoes and sneakers for men, then suddenly stopped their men line several years back. I wore them for years and they were the best. I was told Skechers Porter Ressen shoes were great for wide feet but I can't find them in wide or my size...go figure...)

Generally comfortable and very good fit, especially in narrow width size. Maybe more pronation than I needed. Not as breathable as all leather but not a problem for me.
