Love 'em! Very comfy, I like the style of them, they have a modern retro feel to them. Great for being out in the west coast winter weather with a toddler and the dog. I have a big calf and was thrilled when I could get them done up. Did I mention how comfortable they are?

These are great boots. I bought them to wear to Chicago in December and they were comfortable, great for walking and warm and dry. Other reviews talked about buttons falling off so far mine are still all there but I will contact Merrell if they start disappearing. Cute, comfortable and stylish, love them!

I do not usually write reviews, but I have to share because these are okay right out of the box. They keep your feet warm, and they are so comfortable and stylish and waterproof I am pleased with my purchase.

I love these boots! I admired them for a year before I took the plunge. I should have done it sooner. They are supremely comfortable, right out of the box. There was no break in period. The leather is lovely and the back detail is great too. I bought these to replace my rather ugly (but comfortable Uggs) and they work perfectly. My feet are warm, dry, and cozy no matter the weather.

Love these boots! They are my go to pair. I am petite and have a hard time finding the right shaft length and width. These are just about perfect. The color (brown) is super versatile and it's great they are waterproof. I don't go puddle stomping, but I'm glad I can wear when it's wet outside. On this note, however, the tread is a little slippery on some surfaces at first. Oh, and so comfortable! I wear these all day. I hunted for boots and ordered a ton and returned almost all. If I only had one pair, these would be it. Shorter slender legged girls looking for comfy, cute, casual boots without looking like puss in boots: Buy it! If they don't work for you, return it! (Yay Zappos.)

I have found this boot to be incredibly comfortable from the first time I put them on. They are soft and supportive. I have already walked many miles in them in the months that I have had them - they have worn well too! I typically wear a 7.5 but got these in an 8 to accommodate thicker socks.

This is my most favorite and comfortable boot of all the boots that I own. Not only is it stylish but its perfect in height and around my calves. I am 5'3" tall and 63 year old and I wear them with my leggings and still look age appropriate. Even my 34 year daughter love them. And they are waterproof so you can wear them in the rain. I bought them a half size larger so I can wear thicker socks with them and they are perfect. They are wider in the toe area but I like them that way.

These boots are my favorite thing about winter. Read the reviews and realize - you will love them, too. They are just the best thing about winter ever. Ever. Worth every penny.

These boots are fantastic! Very comfortable and not too high. They are mid calf and perfect. The fit is true to size--- I should get the black ones too. I did spray them with a waterproof spray anyway. Here in Maine we deal with a lot of salt and I wanted extra protection on them.

Love these boots. Very comfortable & arch support is great -- I can walk in them all day long. I listened to what others said and ordered a half size up -- makes them very comfortable with socks, but think I could have ordered my regular size and it would have worked as well. Highly recommend this boot.

I love this boot and the foot bed is a godsend for those of us with wider feet. It's a very comfortable, well-made, and great-looking boot. After receiving this one, I ordered yet another style of theirs since finding shoes that fit comfortably is often a real challenge. Merrell has definitely gotten my attention.

Fantastic boots! They were a bit out of my price range, but I went ahead and got them, I am glad I did. The classic style will make them last more than just this season. In terms of comfort you feel like you are walking on clouds. I love these boots!

Wow, I love these boots! They are true to size and very comfortable. I bought them and took them on a two week vacation walking all over Manhattan. They were perfect in winter weather, not at all slippery on wet or icy ground. Plus they look great with jeans and skirts!

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I usually wear a size 7.5-8 and I got the 8s; they fit perfectly. The boots hit mid-calf and, I think, are very flattering. They're versatile, too. I can dress them up or down (a big plus in my mind) and they're warm but good for a variety of temps. I get compliments on them all the time. I also have to give Zappos kudos -- free shipping both ways (I had bought another pair of boots to compare and liked these better so I sent the others back). It was free and easy and the customer service rep at Zappos was friendly (in an email correspondence) -- it makes me want to buy all my shoes through Zappos.

Love these boots. No breaking in needed, wore them all day right out of the box. Super comfortable and warm! And I mean warm! I tried to wear my smart wool socks with them and my feet got too hot. They will be great as it gets colder this winter. I have horrible back problems and feet issues and really struggle to find shoes that I can wear...especially fashionable ones. These have good arch support yet are not too firm/hard and are my new favorites. Wish I could afford to order them in black too...maybe next year!

I spent months searching for the perfect boot. My feet are very sensitive, and I can only wear Chacos or athletic shoes for extended periods, so I needed an ultra comfortable boot. I never spend this much on shoes, but these are worth it. They are cushy in the sole, especially the heel. I can walk around on pavement for hours without discomfort. They are true to size, but perhaps a little snug with very thick socks. The leather is nice; it's structured, but soft. I have only had them a couple months, but I'm hopeful they'll last for years.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. They took a couple wears to feel less stiff around the ankle. I have found that for me (5'3" and 150lb) my calves fit very snugly in these shoes. For a friend who has the same shoe in a larger size and is much taller than me, she has more calf space. This is the only downside to me is that I wish they had a bit more give for my larger calf. I have worn them in pouring rain and they keep me dry as well as fairly warm. They style is awesome, I wish they came in more colors.

These are great boots! So comfortable and cute, great in the rain too. They are roomy but true to size, so you can put on thick socks. I did have one of the buttons pop off after only a handful of wears (like I read in other reviews). Thankfully Zappos immediately exchanged them, but I sure hope it doesn't happen again; it would ruin the look of these adorable boots.

I wear an 11 and these fit like a glove. I have never tried on boots that fit this well or were as comfortable to walk in. Only problem is the calf is pretty small - if you have muscular calves, these probably won't fit, especially if you want to wear them over jeans. Very disappointed to send them back.

Great shoes! I normally have a pretty long break-in period, but these I wore right away with no problems. They are super versatile, comfy...ideal! They did lose a button after only a week, but they are perfect in every other way I was happy to re-glue it.

Love the look, but the heel and sole are too hard for my knees. (I have sore knees-this boot probably fine for normal knees.) Sorry to have to return.

I don't write reviews, but between the quality of this boot and the unbelievable customer service I received, I absolutely had to. A very good friend bought me these boots after she watched me struggle for years through many international blister-laden excursions. I have incredibly finicky feet. And yes, I know I'm lucky to have such a thoughtful and generous friend. Onto the boots, they fit incredibly well. Very true to size. They're super cute and weatherproof (probably why the scuffing happens), which is great when you make at least one trip a year to London (where inclement weather and style are staples). Here's the kicker though, and why I felt pushed over the edge to write a review, I had a couple of buttons fall off about a week before a trip to London. I took them to my local shoe repair, where I was quickly turned away. "We don't have those. You'll need to order them from the company the boot comes from or find your own." Even with my downtrodden thoughts that there was no possibility of getting the buttons shipped to me in time, I called the customer service center for Merrell and was met with the kindest of phone operators, who not only sent me new buttons, but rush ordered them to me at no cost. It was probably one of my best experiences with a customer service center ever. My poor boots have been worn to death. I am going to have to shell out the cash to get myself a new pair, but there is no question where those will come from. I don't even need to shop. I know my size, my style, my boots. I adore them and would recommend them to anybody and everybody.

Absolutely awesome boots!! I'm a fan of Merrell barefoot shoes and, to me, comfort is a must in all of my shoes. So when I saw these, I had to try. Loved them from the moment I put them on! Wore them miles and miles on a walking trip in NYC! Wonderful boots! Felt maybe a bit big, but with heavy socks for winter, they are just right!

I ordered these boots, and love them but had to return them because I'm 5'8" and they are too short, please make a boot exactly like these and as comfortable as these that are a bit taller! Thanks.

These were just delivered today and I'm wearing them tonight to my kids swim meet. I love that they are so stylish and waterproof and since I'll no doubt get splashed at the pool I'll be covered. They are so cute, I'm super excited. I'm always worried about boots and that the circumference of the shaft will be too wide for my calves. These are perfect. Just enough room left wearing them over skinny jeans to make them comfortable. They are just as cute as a button (or shall I say "their buttons").
