Excellent boots. They are very true to size and the calf diameter can be changed enough to fit my quite narrow calves. I am very satisfied!

Absolutely adore these boots and received many compliments while wearing them! We just got back from Colorado and they did just fine in the snow. I also own Sorel Cate the Great boots. My Cate's are more playing in the snow boots whereas my Carly's are more hit the town type of boots (meaning they dont have the rugged look that my Cate's have). I was hesitant about buying the Carly's due to the reviews. Yes, if you have tiny calves they might be big. I am a size 6 and they fit perfect. I love them and would highly recommend them.

These boots are incredibly cute and for the most part quite comfortable. I did notice a little rubbing on parts of my ankles, but thicker socks would've probably made it unnoticeable. Unfortunately, they were just too much of a pain to get on and off easily. It was a hard decision to send them back!

I love these boots. Perfect for skinny jeans and snow. They keep wet out, run a little larger then size (so you have room for an extra pair of socks), protect your upper leg. I would buy Sorel again in a second, even if they are a little higher priced.

I ordered these for my sister for Xmas. After reading the reviews saying order down in size, I ordered a half size down. Way too small! She wears a 9, and a ordered a 9, and she loves them.

These boots are so well made, I am very happy I purchased them. I get many compliments when I am out and about. They also make my size 9 1/2-10 size feet look smaller because of the quality of the design.

I'm so happy I got these when I did, because now I see that there are not many left in stock... and the reason is, these boots are BEAUTIFUL! They are versatile no matter what type of 'look' you're going for, and also very functional. The only thing negative I noticed was that the heal (where the leather meets the rubber) kinda sticks out on the inside, but maybe the leather will stretch a bit? Either way, these have such a cool look and comfy feel all around that that's just a minor point. LOVE!

These are virtually perfect winter boots if you are looking for style and function. I wore them during the recent Polar Vortex snow extravaganza in Chicago and my feet were toasty warm and dry. My only criticism is that they are a bit difficult to take off.

It's always tough ordering shoes online not knowing how they'll fit, however I'm glad I took the plunge and ordered these! They are true-to-size. I love them so much I wore them out on the day I received them! I really appreciate that they can be dressed up or down and are built to with-stand the snow, slush, & ice to and from the car while shopping, etc.

These just helped me survive a frigid a Boston nor'easter. They're not fur-lined, but I chose that purposely so I can wear them into spring. My feet finally got cold after 30 minutes outside at 6 degrees - and my feet are ALWAYS cold, so I consider this a selling point. They ARE tough to get on, especially if you have high arches like I do, but I just unlace them down to the third eyelet and it eliminates the frustration. They look great, which is a plus. Worth every penny!

Based on other reviews I size down to an 8 1/2 (usually a 9). I'm from California and don't typically deal with extreme winters. I would not recommend sizing down if you want to wear socks. The smaller size works well for me as I prefer to have my leggings cover part of my feet as appose to wearing bulky socks. That being said I wore them around in Iowa (-8 at night and snowing when I was there! ) and these were perfectly insulated for me. Didn't need the socks or extra fur to stay warm. The added bonus? Super cute and fashionable with leggings and a sweater! I absolutely love these. Only four stars in comfort and they aren't the easiest boot to get off by yourself! Practically have to unlace the whole boot, but that might be due to the smaller size too. Lucky to have a husband who's always willing to help with boot removal. :)

Awesome boots! I live north of Boston and we had our first real snow storm of the year yesterday. I wore these boots for the first time and my feet were perfectly warm and dry in 6 inches of snow. I've never been so excited about a pair or snow boots in my life. These are not only functional, but super cute as well. However, I will say that I owned a pair of Sorel Joan of Arctic before these ones, and they were a size eight (I am a size eight in almost all shoes and boots). Those were way too big, even with thick socks. I ordered these in a 7-1/2 just because of my past experience with Sorel boots, and they are perfect! I wore them with two pairs of socks, one very thick pair of wool socks, and one pair of thinner ankle socks. If you buy any Sorel boots, I suggest going a half size smaller than your normal sneaker size. These boots also have laces all the way up the front which make them a little difficult to put on. But it's well worth it. Love them!

This was a gift for my daughter. She loves this boot! Very practical for winter and snow and it was a real plus when she found out it was worn by a famous movie star in a recent movie! Great product and looks great!

Stylish. Easy to slip on and off. Warm. I wasn't expecting to wear these as the weather got to low teens and single digits, but it has happened early and they feel warm. I haven't stood outside in them for ages, so in that case, I may pull out my giant Sorels, but they are great boots! I love them!

These are the second pair of Sorel boots that I own and I really like to see how much they've progressed within the design department. Compared to the Joan of Arctic, this boot has a narrower foot box. The boots don't look overly chunky or big like some other Sorel styles. The Conquest Carly has moderate arch support, which is great to see in a stylish waterproof boot. Although the Conquest Carly doesn't have as much insulation as other Sorel's it's still incredibly warm. I would highly recommend that you downsize. I normally wear a 7.5 and fit in the Conquest Carly size 7's comfortably with normal and heavy weight socks. The stirrups add a funky, fun look to a comfortable classic boot. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

Wow, do I ever have a problem with these boots. WHICH COLOR? I currently have the black in hand, and they are fantastic. I can kick it like Katniss in these...they were part of her costume for Hunger Games. However, the Cinammon color, as shown in the sales video, it absolutely fabulous as well. They are sturdy, bad looking and fit great with a wool sock. With boots like these I'm not going to be wearing them with anything but a warm sock. So my usual size, 7 , is a little loose in these boots, but really perfect for the purpose. I just have to sit down and have a think , which color is more fabulous, and I better do it soon so I can start wearing them. i already have black rain boots, and some taupe Sorel Joan of Arctics (don't judge) so just got to figure out which completes my wardrobe better. In any case, these boots are unique and make it clear that you can deliver a good butt whooping if necessary. As far as function that is way down on my list for why I buy boots, but these seem sturdy and fine. With Zappos generous return policy, you can check them out like I did...but you'll never want to part with them.

I'm generally not super impressed with Sorel's level of craftsmanship, but these boots are an exception. Very well made in durable, quality materials. It is also a more attractive style and silhouette, than most snowboots at the same price point. I have a really hard time finding good looking, fashionable snow boots that are under my budget, and these go great with leggings or skinny jeans and a nicer coat. My only criticism is that the fit and comfort could be improved. Given the depth of the last, the boot should have a thicker, more cushioned footbed. There is also too much room in the ankle area, which causes my heel to lift when walking. I have to wear super thick socks and bunch them around my ankle to make the boots tread comfortably. Expect the boots to run about a half size larger, which I think is actually great, because they are much more comfortable with heavy socks. All in all, this boot is a great value. Really happy about this purchase. I wouldn't have worn Sorel in the past, but am now on a look out to see if they'll come out with more fashionable styles!

I absolutely love these boots! I got them as a gift and I couldn't be happier. I went "extreme" sledding one night and I had to wear these boots and after a couple of hours using my feet as brakes only my big toe was a little humid but nothing terrible. Overall great! I normally wear a 6 and that's what I got; if you plan on wearing them with thick socks, then get a size bigger.

These boots were worth every penny. They are so comfortable and lightweight but also keep my feet warm. I've been wearing them even with no snow! In terms of sizing, I usually wear a 7 1/2 and I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. Do yourself a favor and order these boots before they're gone- they are limited edition and won't be available next season!

I have 3 pair of Sorel boots and love them all for different reasons. These are my favorite pair. So cute, warm enough for snow/rain, with heavy socks. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. Comfortable too!

Got these in the twill color and I love them! I have larger calves which makes finding boots a bit difficult. But I haven't had any issues with these so far. They take some time to get into but are worth it. Love the style!

I am in love with these boots. They are so comfortable and so cool looking. I haven't stopped grinning since putting them on. I am 5'2'' and so tall boots sometimes hit me in a weird spot below my knee. These are a little dipped in the front and makes my legs look better than in taller boots. I love the heel (refer back to my short stature) and the all round look of the boot is not only super cool but functional. I am so, so happy!

Probably one of my favorite boots that I have ever bought. Love the style, but like most people said, they run about 1/2 size big. Overall, this is a great purchase...well worth the price since I see myself wearing them for years to come.

I never thought I would say this about snow boots, but I am in love! These boots are beautifully crafted and well worth the splurge (I purchased them in Twill). I found them to be nearly true to size, maybe running slightly large. I ordered them in a 9.5 (my normal size) and my toes have a little extra wiggle room, but nothing nice thick socks won't fix. Like other reviewers have mentioned, I too have muscular calves and these boots mold perfectly too them once adjusted. I'd say the worst part is getting them on and off, but it's not a huge deal!

I'm in love with these boots! They are the best casual boot. I sometimes have trouble with boots being snug around the calf. These boots are adjustable for any size. Completely happy with my purchase...and even considering buying the black color. The only problem I've run into is when my friends see them, they all want them.
