For the price, these are a great athletic shoe. They have the good Asics fit, with plenty of arch support and cushion throughout the entire sole. The traction is great on dirt/gravel surfaces, and kind of makes you stride forward easier. I ordered my usual size for a running shoe, which is 1/2 size larger than my regular shoes. I do need wide athletic shoes, and the wider option is perfect at the toes.

I love these Kahana 6s! First the color caught my eye, but I put them on and felt like, "Ah, yes, Asics!" I have been buying Asics shoes (Kahana/Kayano) for years and love them. I always get the 7W and these fit just like the others, perfectly! They are a bit stiffer than other running shoes because they are trail shoes, which is what I wanted. They provide great support, too!

I have been running on Montrails for trail running for the past two years and thought that I would try Asics this time around since I love their regular (non-trail specific) shoes for the gym and the treadmill. I have to say, these shoes are fantastic. They are very comfortable and supportive. I ordered a size 7 first and returned them for a 7½, but they fit great after I got that sorted. They are holding up well and overall I am very happy with this purchase.

I purchased these shoes for my daughter who is a nurse and needs a good shoe. It provides great support, is true to size and has a smooth interior.

Very comfortable and good heel cushion. I always use an arch support so I'm not sure about that.

Terrific value! I'm on my second pair of these, and if there's a difference between these and shoes that cost twice as much, I can't tell what it is. BUT: they run small and narrow. This and my other pair of running shoes (a Saucony) I've had to get in a wide and go up a half size. But these are keepers.

I love these shoes! I originally purchased 5 pairs of size 12 stability running shoes and was very pleased as soon as I tried on this pair and ran around my house! I confirmed this great fit with my next outdoor 5 mile run. They are well cushioned and my feet feel secure but not squeezed. My feet are somewhat narrow but I like plenty of toe-wiggling room. The snug fit of the heel is also ideal. I'm 5'9'' and 132 lbs. I do wish it had some reflective markings. I also use Rx orthotics in place of the insole.

I bought this shoe twice. I absolutely love it. It does so much more than when you put in a corrective insole. In this shoe, my ankles, arches, and knees feel so much more aligned and supported. And they're cute. Best shoes ever.

Very good support! I did a lot of research for price and value and I decided on this, in spite of not being into the color. Now I LOVE the color actually and the fit is great. I have been running for a long time and in my mid thirties my knees starting hurting. These provide very good support. My knees have been fine since purchasing these shoes. I hike a lot too and run on hills. Asics always impress me.

I got these for running in the snow in Indiana and they have kept me from falling quite a few times. They feel sturdy and true to size although I should have purchased a half size larger to compensate for the thicker socks I wear in the winter.

Love these! It's true, you should order a half size up - in fact when I first put them on I was debating on exchanging for a whole size up but then again I was 8 mo pregnant & swollen. I waited it out & now they are fine. My feet have gone down in my 9th mo, and perhaps the mesh lends itself to some stretching. As a point of reference, my foot is normally narrow with a high arch. The support & cushion are well worth the price. I wouldn't have survived the end of my pregnancy without them!

Can't recommend these enough and I ordered another two pairs. I've been wearing them for close to a year to power walk and do moderate hiking on uneven surfaces. They offer amazing support, cushion, and traction. When I first bought them, I had tried on every single pair of Asics (both higher and lower priced) at a local sports chain and these were the best in overall comfort. I repeated this "test" recently and they still beat every other pair. And thank you to Zappos for having them on my doorstep within 48 hours.

These are one of the best Asics gels I have ever purchased. They are so good I purchased another pair and had them sent to my daughter who also loves them. They have great support, great comfort at a great price. Thank you Zappos.

These shoes are great trail shoes. Lightweight but super comfortable to hike in. I hiked 15-20 miles a day for 6 straight days in the Colorado Rockies in them. Rain, snow or shine -- loved them. Dry fast when wet. Could have worn 8.5 (my normal running shoe size) or a 9. I chose 8.5 because I don't like shoes to feel too long.

I loved these, fit great...it is tough having a size 12 foot because its hard to find shoes that fit, be it dress shoes or athletic shoes. These were true to size and I got more compliments on them then any other sneaker I ever bought. Only one problem now, I need another pair! I use them constantly for work and working out, so they are getting worn out quickly. I sometimes even wear them on the weekends.definitely worth the price and so pretty too! I wish they came in more variety of colors. Maybe pink and purple together or purple and aqua blue!

The Asics Gel-Kahana 6 were perfect right out of the box. I need a wide toe box so the 9 wide is a good fit for me. I did not find it big in the heel like some many other wide shoes. I only wish that it would come in darker colors as well. Zappos..you make online shoe shopping so easy. Thank you!

I order a new pair of running sneakers on a Tuesday night after work and I swear they were in my door when I got home from work Wednesday evening! The Asics Gel-Kahana is the shoe that I have been wearing for about 5 years how. They have a great fit, very durable and meet all my fitness requirements. This shoe is great.

Great shoe. The fit is excellent and runs true to size. Quality material and construction. I use these on extreme cross country trails as well as smooth roads and they feel great and provide the stability I need. Snug fit so my feet don't slip and slide when going up or down hills in both dry and wet conditions. Quality shoe and great price.

I run about 100 miles/month on pavement/sidewalks mostly, some trail. Great shoe for wider feel - they don't look or feel bulky like some wider width shoes do. If you run on pavement that's wet, the shoes are really slick. That's my only drawback. Great color combo - orange is bright and fun.

Great shoes, I have had a pair for about 3 years and this is the second pair. This one, size 10, may be a shade tighter but that just might be because they are new. Good padding.

I have difficult times finding athletic shoes -- I cringe every time my shoes wear out and I have to go through the awful times of trying on hundreds of shoes -- no exaggeration. After trying on every pair of trail runners Running Warehouse and the other athletic store here have, I turned to Zappos and found these. I ordered them with hesitance, as can be imagined, but to my surprise, they felt amazing as soon as I put them on. Heavier than I wanted without being too heavy by any means. I've dashed out trail after trail in these with no adverse affects. My narrow heel stays in place; my toes have plenty of room in the front (I do order my athletic shoes a size larger than my regular 9.5 though). Stable, no slipping on sandy, rocky, muddy or grassy terrain. And still lightweight enough to hop, jump and parkour my way up rocky hillsides. Good for narrow heels; wider toe box; I have high arches and therefore have given up having any arch support in shoes, so I would say these have a moderate arch; breathable; stable but enough movement for my neutral foot; Highly recommend!

First I am an Asics advocate as it is the only shoe that I find comfortable and fits as sized. The gel shoes are super for tired feet and I can wear them all day with no problem. Couple that with Zappos fast service and guarantee, and I have tried other shoe firms that claim the same service but do not even come close. I am walking well at 80 years of age.

Love my shoes! I had originally a size too small. Zappos was quick to issue a UPS return label and ship out a bigger size. Very easy and pleasant company to do business with! Awesome customer service!
