Bought these for my 13 year old son who has a wide foot. He liked the way they looked, which is nice as you don't have too many options when needing a wide size. He says they are very comfortable too!

I'll be honest these are the first running/walking shoes that I haven't had to break in. they are perfectly supportive, light and very comfortable overall. I would definitely buy these again!

I wear size 14 Rockport and Clark work shoes, my older Nike and New Balance shoes are 14s and 15s. I ordered this in a 14 and 15. The 15 was a great fit. I've logged 300+ miles of walking in this shoe in the last three months. I've worn the heels down thru the rubber pad into the softer foam and the front of the sole is worn just about smooth. The uppers and insides show no wear at all. It's very comfortable and I have just ordered another pair. I've only worn these for walking, no casual wear. First time I've ever put this kind of use and mileage into a shoe, I do not know if the wear is normal or not, but I'm satisfied. Also my first Asics. Thanks Zappos for making it quick and easy to find the right shoe.

I was so impressed with the price and ease of getting these shoes for my husband for Christmas...he showed them to me, I ordered, they were at my house within days! Wow...can't ask for better service, prices or quality.

I bought these as a replacement for my three year old Kahana 3's. I have had them about three weeks now and have put about 30 miles on them. Initally they don't feel like they have as much arch support as my old Kahana 3's. They have the same gel pads, which I like, and the tread is more agressive then my old shoes. Overall I like them so far but would like if they had more arch support. They don't cause me any discomfort and I will add to this review as I get some more miles on them.

This was my 2nd order from Zappos. Shipments are fast and easy and the money saved is manna from heaven. Yesterday, we were out with friends. Another woman and I were wearing the same sandals, only I got mine from Zappos. I'd saved enough (more than she) to pay for my husband's and my dinner (but then, we're in Mexico). Buy. Save. Enjoy.

I don't know about running in these, but I work in food service and am on my feet all day every day in constant motion, and I also have pretty bad knees, which is a combination that makes finding a good work shoe just about impossible. I have gone through 2 pairs of Kahanas so far this year, one Kahana-5 and one Kahana-6, and if the line is still around, will be buying a third when these wear out. Very comfortable, very cushioned, very durable - they get abused for 8-10 hours a day, six days a week. I don't like spending any more than I have to on a pair of shoes that I know are going to get beat up right out of the box, but if these were $100/pair, I'd still spend the money. Fantastic shoe.

Shoes just as expected. Love them. Very comfortable...maybe a little too much orange on the bottom for most people but overall fit a great shoe!

These look great and are a really good value. I wore them for my workout today. They are comfortable and quality.

I bought these to wear while I bartend. I put a lot of miles on my shoes very quickly and they have stood up fairly well. The support is okay but with the addition of some simple insoles they don't cause me any foot pain. I would consider buying them again if they are put on sale soon.

Shoe fits tighter than expected. Must be worn with thin socks. Had another pair that stretched over time, hope these will too.

Great Trail Running shoe. Comfortable with no rub areas. Highly recommended.

They're basic style and nice and not to outrageous like some shoes. Fit great! Have had them for a few months now and no issues. Great support and cushion for running. Will buy again once I need them. Wear seems great and I use them every day for at least an hour or so either at the gym or outside running.

Shoes are comfortable. They seem a little narrower than the NB that I usually wear. Ridiculously fast shipping.

I got these for generally wearing around and for my bike ride to work. They feel comfortable and seem well made. I didn't get them for the "Gel" part, but I was out walking during my lunch break one day and I realized "Hey, these feel really good." They're soft without feeling like you're walking in sand. My only complaint, and this is partly my fault, is they are a little narrow for me. I know they say never to assume your shoes will stretch, but I've struggled with finding shoes for my wide feet my whole life and that is my solution. These shoes, at 4E wide were a little narrower than other 4E shoes, at least they felt like it. However, after wearing them for a couple weeks they have indeed broken in and feel quite comfortable now.

I love Asics! I bought these shoes about a month ago when I got back into running. Overall great shoe--very good shock mitigation and support. I have a heal spur so support is important! The only complaint I have is that the shoe fits a little more snug than I'd like due to it being slightly more narrow than I'm use to. Not a huge deal because they are comfortable...but I do feel like I'm sausaging my feet when I first put them on. Still, not a deal breaker just be aware. Great shoes overall!

Had a problem with these shoes wearing out at the top near my left ankle very weird location for that to happen. Returned them to zappos with no problem and got a new pair. So far so good.

The ASICS GEL-Kahana® 6 is my favorite pair of shoes despite several design features. I had to size up 1.5 sizes in length with 4E width to achieve the proper width. The shoe is light, cushioned and flexible. I would've preferred more support and more subdued color choices. I don't appreciate current shoe designs with shiny colors and narrow fit.

The ASICS GEL-Kahana® 6 is one of the few shoes I've found that has a wide enough toe box without being excessively long or fitting loose in the heel. I did have to size up 1.5 sizes to achieve the adequate toe box width. The Kahana 6 is very light and flexible with adequate cushioning. I would prefer more support and subdued colors but no shoe is perfect. I hope Asics doesn't design the next iteration more narrow. I would buy them again if I could locate my size.

I have purchased many pairs of Asics Gel runners previously, including the Kahana, always in size 15 extra wide and they have fit very well. For some reason, this pair was extremely tight and uncomfortable. I hope Asics has not changed their sizing and this is just an aberration, because I truly have never found a more comfortable pair of shoes for walking. Although it is true that I usually I purchase the Gel-Kayano so the fit may be somewhat different in those. However, I have owned Gel-Kahanas before and have not had any problem with fit. So it may just be this particular pair. In any case, I had to return them. I have only rated them low on comfort because of the tightness.

I bought these shoes for the 2012 Midwest Spartan Race. These shoes are comfortable and provide good support. These shoes are good for trail running, but I would not recommend them for mud running. For mud runs, I would recommend finding a lighter shoe that drains better.

I average 6-10 miles per week. This shoe is very solid and took about 2 weeks to wear in. I'm very happy with how it feels now.

Shoe fits and feels fine. My disappointment lies with the sole or tread of the shoe. After wearing the shoe to work for a couple days (I work inside at a desk job) I noticed there were two "chunks" of the tread, one on the inside edge and one on the outside edge that separated and were just hanging. Had I worn the shoe outside to take a walk or jog the chunks would have been lost. I had to purchase a glue named "Shoe Goo" to re-attach the chunks of tread. The Tread on this shoe is of poor quality and construction. I am surprised that the manufacturer's Quality Control did not see this coming. Signed, "Disappointed".

First trail shoe. First pair of Asics. Mehhh. Coming from Nikes, for some reason I expected to be wowed by my first pair of Asics. They are okay. I like my running shoes tight.. and let them stretch a bit to fit. These 12's fit more like a 12.5. I wish I would have ordered a 11.5. They are okay, but I think I would like them more if they fit just a bit tighter. I also noticed that my left heel was not locking down, but this seems to be going away. I would not buy these for light hiking, only for light XC running. Not sure if I would get another pair of Asics anytime soon, but also not a terrible shoe. My 4 cents.
