Very lightweight and comfortable. Flattering fit and soft material. This jacket can definitely hold up against the Pacific Northwest wind/rain/cold. I'm short (5'2) and this jacket hits at mid-thigh which is a great length for keeping the elements out. Would definitely purchase again!

Lightweight but so warm! Blocks the wind, stays dry in rain and great length. Love the thumb holes too.

Easily can dress this coat up or down based on use. Keeps you warm, esp when you are hiking. Uncertain how warm once we hit below 30 degrees but will find out soon. I wish Columbia would make and rate coats/outerwear based on temps. It would help consumers buy the right coat or outerwear based on temperatures.

Very practical and a great weight. Warm enough for the climate I live in. Love the color, too. I highly recommend this coat.

I initially ordered this jacket, for me and my daughter, and it was far too tight. I reordered it in Small and we are both delighted. It is everything it purports to be - very lightweight, surprisingly warm, and unexpectedly stylish. As the warning label reads, "it will make you want to go out and stay there". Caveat Emptor. I'm heading out.

I purchased this coat or a similar one last season and enjoyed it so much that I returned for another this year in a different color. It's lightweight but warm - phenomenal for we who have our own 'personal summers '. Just enough classic style to wear almost daily, yet so practical and warm. You must dress for winter underneath, though. It serves as insulation, if you will, not the replacement for your winter attire.

I bought this coat last month and tested it in our Northwest windy, rainy, and chilly winter weather. I like the long length and hood which keeps me warm during walks, and the light weight is a plus. I ordered an X-Large as I normally wear a Large and wanted to be comfortable wearing sweaters. I hesitated about ordering this new insulation---and am delighted I gave it a try!

I have been looking for a longer jacket for myself for about three years now. I am a very sporty person and have a difficult time finding a long winter jacket that looks good on me, partly because I am short. I am 5' 4" and 123 pounds and this jacket is perfect for me. I ordered a size small thinking it may be a little snug but it fits perfect and has room for a light sweater/sweatshirt under. I love the zipper because it allows you to zip from the bottom, which makes it easier for me to get in to my large vehicle without the jacket becoming restricting. I also love the thumb-holes, this was a great surprise because I didn't realize they were there when I ordered it-just a bonus for me! As for the warmth of the jacket, so far so good. I am in Minnesota so the winter's get very cold. I have worn it a number of times and it seems to keep me warm, at least in 5-15 degree temps.

I am cold all year & was looking for a jacket that provided warmth without the bulk. I just love this coat & am ordering another in another color. Recommend for the cold natures woman!

This jacket is amazing! I purchased this because of the omni heat thermal lining. I have a super warm insulated columbia jacket that I have had since 2010, with this same reflective liner, and I absolutely loved it! The problem with my old jacket was the weight .. it was too heavy to wear for everyday use. This Mighty Lite is perfect! Its amazingly warm, and weighs almost nothing!

Had this coat last year and I love it so much, I bought another one in a different color this year. I love the light weight and it is very warm with the shiny technology lining inside. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it!

I love this Jacket! It's very lightweight and easy to pack - which is exactly what I was looking for as I travel a lot - but also very warm. I have a couple of jackets from Columbia, all size small, and I think this one runs small. It fits me great with lightweight clothing underneath, but if I have a bulky sweater on it's quite tight.

I love this coat. It is super thin and warm. It packs up super small and looks great as well. I would like one in another color.

This jacket is as light as a hoodie but is as toasty as a heavier jacket! I have a few other items with omni-heat lining (gloves and a down parka) and it's amazing how warm it gets for a fabric so thin. Lining is cozy despite not being a fluffy or brushed fabric. Cut is a bit fitted so I sized up for more room in the hips and the ease of sitting/driving (I used the sizing chart to reference pant size). Sleeves with thumbholes and zippered pockets are nice details, but I do wish it had a few outer snaps in addition to the zipper -- but I still love this jacket and would highly recommend it for fall or mild winters, and especially for traveling, commuting, or shopping where you don't want to deal with a bulky coat.

I had bought this coat 2 years ago in Black and still have it. It is the warmest, lightest coat that I have ever owned. I saw that it now came in Gray and could not resist ordering it.

I bought it for a trip to Europe this December, so I haven't had the chance to try it on cold weather. However when I tried it on I inmediatly felt the Omni Heat technology working. I also love that is not heavy at all, very light, so it's great for traveling.

I had the shorter version of this coat for 4 years, and it was amazing! Very lightweight but warm. At first I thought it was too thin, but it got my through several Minnesota winters! It is great because I could fit another sweater under it if it were cold, but by itself it was not too hot for changing seasons. I also liked that it was versitle for everything from errands, to outdoor activities, to church! I got many compliments on its classic simplicity. I am excited to wear the longer version of it now!

I was looking for an alternative to a huge, puffer down filled coat. This coat is a great option. It is slim fitting, long enough, and has a hood. While I haven't had the chance to wear it in the winter yet, I do own the short jacket version of the Mighty Lite and that one certainly keeps you warm. I've worn my shorter Mighty Lite on backpacking trips at elevation to keep warm, and while running in 25-30 degree weather. Be warned that Mighty Lite jackets seem to warm up using your own body heat and the inner reflective coating, so they are not instantly warm like a down puffer coat.

My sister owns this jacket and loves it. I was looking for a longer jacket to cover my bum and it needed to be warm. I do live in Wyoming after all. I love that it's hooded as well. I tried it on after I received it and it's snug in a good way! I was wearing a thicker cardigan when I tried it on and it was very comfortable. I sat down and it felt good. Didn't pull in any areas. It looks pretty professional for not being a wool jacket as well. I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs. I ordered a small.

Fabulous form fitting light weight warm jacket. Perfect for driving. Arms are long and cuffs tight. I'm 5'8" and ordered the small, it is a perfect fit.

I needed a new coat for walking between classes at College in the winter so I decided to but this coat. Ohio winters can get really cold. It is perfect for college students. the length keeps the top of your legs and your torso warm. The coat is not thick making it easier to maneuver in, but the insulation keeps you warm and toasty. I also got a wonderful deal on the coat making it more appealing. I would defiantly buy this coat again!
