The jacket is lightweight and traps heat. I used the jacket in -15 degrees weather, and it kept me warm. A must have.

I'm absolutely in love with this jacket I bought a second one in a different color. It is by far the warmest, lightest jacket I have ever worn. I have a shoulder issue that limits me from wearing heavy jackets and I'm so happy I found an option that keeps me warm in the winter (worn as cold as 15 F with a sweatshirt underneath) without aggrevating my shoulder.

I live in MA and Winter weather can sometimes be as low as -2. With this jacket though, no cold gets through. I also love that I don't have to wear layers. Just the jacket keeps me warm. Great buy. Got one for me and my daughter and it was worth it!

Columbia has made this jacket for at least a few years and they shouldn't stop anytime soon. I have purchased two of these over the last couple years for my girlfriend and sister. They love them! I think they look so much better than the North Face jackets since they are a bit thinner and contour the body better. Don't think by thin that I mean cold. We just got back from a trip thru Canada and it was under zero degrees and did just fine. Plus, this jacket has thumb holes made from a stretchy comfortable material that they love and keeps the jacket tucked into your gloves. My younger sister has had this jacket for two years and beats the heck out of it and it keeps coming back for more. I'll probably buy a third.

The coat is very light weight but very warm. The weather has been in the teens and down to single digits and I've been wearing this coat everywhere and have been warm and comfortable. I love Columbia coats with Omni heat, it really works!

I'm from Portland, Oregon and have many winter jackets and rain jackets (most of which are from Columbia) but this jacket beats them all. I use it for Fall, Winter, and Spring and am always extremely warm. The length is perfect, hits right above the middle of my thigh (I'm 5'5" and wear an XS). Ive had this jacket for 3 years now and wear it OFTEN and it still looks brand new. Great quality, holds up well!

I absolutely love my jacket! It is perfect for those frigid Wisconsin winters. The thinness of the jackets allows me to be mobile and keep up with my small children, unlike other bulky winter coats. Highly recommend!

I bought this jacket because matched my Columbia boots. Is the first long jacket I ever had and I loved. Is so soft and comfortable and keep you warm. Very good!!!

My daughter wanted a longer coat to keep her warm as she is walking around campus. She likes to wear sweaters so it was important to her to also have a coat that was not bulky. This meets both requirements. She absolutely loves it and since we got hit with a cold spell she was able to try it out immediately. The only thing we would possible add is a little more room around the hips to accommodate shorter, heavy sweaters.

This jacket is lightweight, soft, and warm. It was perfect in twenty degree weather with a frigid wind. This jacket fits true to size; I'm 5'8" and 155 pounds and a large fit well. I don't like tight fitting clothes and it was comfortable with a light sweater.

Love this coat! I was unsure if this coat would be warm enough when I first received it because of how thin it seemed, but the reflective material inside keeps me nice and warm. I live in the Midwest and I am outside for recess duty daily and this coat has kept me warm and dry in the cold and snowy weather. Highly recommend this coat!

Live in Florida and needed a coat that was lightweight for packing but offered enough protection for single digit temps. This coat delivered on both! The thin Omni-Heat lining is warm without the bulk. It works off your body heat, so I did not need a sweater or heavy layers underneath. This coat was warm in 7 degrees with a windchill of -11. A huge plus is that it will be easy to fold and put in my carry on when I head back to Florida!

My daughter asked me to buy her this jacket for a trip to Europe. It's perfect because the jacket is warm, very light and can fold up easily to put in her backpack. The length is perfect too for extra warmth on her legs. I like it so much I may buy one for myself.

Originally looking at the downnfilled version but just did not want to spend the money. Bought this one and so far I am very pleased with its performance in keeping me warm. I do love this product and would definitely recommend it. With the high neckline there is no need for a scarf either. Perfect for me!!

The lightest, warmest coat I have ever owned. It's like I don't have a coat on.

I love this coat! I bought this 2 years ago and the quality and durability have been perfect. I wanted a longer coat that I could wear even in heavy winter weather with dress or casual that still had a feminine look. This coat works great and is not bulky, but warm! I also love that I can wear it in 40 degrees or single digit temperatures and be comfortable. It effortlessly adjusts to the temp you need. The final perfect touch is the thumb holes, which allow you to wear gloves without cold air getting in between the glove and the sleeve. I've washed the coat several times and it has held up perfectly. I would definitely buy the coat again.

Columbia never disappoints. This jacket was exactly what I was looking for. Warm enough when I need it but not too bulky

This is my second winter coat in this style. It is warm and very lightweight. Great features: hood, inner sleeve cuffs with thumb hole, 2 way zipper. Suggestion: I am curvy and had to have an XL to fit my bustline. Wish you would make length options. The XL is a little long in the sleeve.

I purchased this jacket during thanksgiving for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. the jacket is not heavy at all but keeps her very warm. the size is perfect and it has got a nice fit to it. My daughter likes the burgundy color and it looks very pretty. All in all , a good purchase for Pennsylvania winters and the quality is good too. seems like she will be able to wear it for a good number of winters.
