New Balance in 9.5 wide fit me great. With other shoes they are too wide or too short in the toe box height, but these are great. I wear a 10 regular width in most other shoes, but when I want to stay comfortable on my feet for 10k's and work as a floor nurse I use these.

This shoe runs about a 1/2 size smaller than the usual size. I ordered it in wide, and that seemed fine. This is a good sturdy shoe and is quite comfortable. It was my 1st pair of New Balance shoes. I'd definitely order it again! Thank you Zappos for all the help!

Great shoe for those of us who have to losen the fit during the day because of feet swelling (osteoarthritis). Support is good, but because of the malalignment of the bones in my feet, I still have to insert a small orthodic arch support.

I needed new shoes to wear to work, most people get Shoes for Crews but I love New Balance. I don't like that they are completely black all over, but they fit in with my work dress code and they are comfortable. Feet felt great from day one wearing these.

I like this over many other brands in this type of shoe. I wanted the velcro opening. I did have to go 1/2 size smaller.

I am very pleased with these shoes. I have been a Reebok fan for years, but they discontinued the model that I liked and I could not find another one. These fit the bill. I have fairly wide feet and they fit me well.

I work as a RN and have had surgery on both of my feet. These shoes are the only ones I can wear to work in they are extremely comfortable and would not buy anything else.

I am so impressed by Zappos. I went to the local mall to find New Balance sneakers with velcro to come home without a purchase. I started surfing the internet and found this site. Not only did they have the sneakers in my size (12 womens)and color I wanted, but I ordered them and received them the very next day! I had a pair that had the orthopedic insert in the shoe. When I would walk it sound like I was walking in wet shoes. I found the New Balance shoe and my fitted inserts work great. I would recommend this walking shoe to everyone who has feet problems. They are wider on the bottom and gives you a lot more balance. I will be buying another pair.

I bought these for my middle-aged sister, who is heavy and needs plenty of support in a shoe with no laces, but doesn't like "old lady" shoes. She finds these very comfortable and perfectly supportive enough for her workouts, which are on the light side. These tennies also look relatively sporty and not as clunky as some similar styles, and, at least when I purchased them, they were reasonably economical compared to the others.

I love these shoes! They are true to size and width. They are comfortable and have pretty good arch support. I was having hip and back pain before I bought these shoes due to the fact my old shoes were worn out. Now my hip pain is almost gone and my back pain is much better.

I finally found a great walking shoe for a reasonable price. I ordered & returned 5 other sneakers, various brands & prices, due to improper fit in my narrow heel. These are comfy, practical and lightweight. The roomy toe box gives me space to spread my crooked toes in comfort. My only complaint is that the shoelaces are way too long.

The New Balance leather, walking sneakers that I bought from Zappos are great. The fit is PERFECT, and so is the look. I feel like I am walking on air when I wear them. The price could have been a bit better. My friend bought them on the internet for less.

I can't believe how comfortable these shoes are. I work in a laboratory on my feet all day, and these shoes are very comfortable. (Also, all my other coworkers' sneakers "squeak" on the floor, but these are very quiet.) No break-in period.

I have foot troubles (arthritis and achilles tendon issues) and these shoes are very comfortable. The cushioning on the back of the heel and the support in the sole help keep my tender feet happy.

Nice shoe. Only returned because I had to choose between two pair. Easy Spirit won out because they were a little more narrow for my slim foot and they made my big foot look less big! Also, the Easy Spirit brand was cheaper.
