This is the backpack that all the cool kids have or want. My son (ninth grade) was extremely pleased by this backpack. From my perceptive it looks like every backpack that I have seen on all the kids this year.

This is a fantastic backpack. My son just started high school, and we got him the same reliable brand of backpack that we used when we were in school, many years ago! Solid, sturdy construction, great looks - I know this one will last for years. He loves it!

This backpack is exactly what I was looking for for my 7th grader. He carries a very large binder plus lunchbox, and this is the only backpack we could find that is large enough.

It has padding on the back side so when hanging it, the sharp corners of books or stuff does not hurt your back. Big Student previously did not have that. Good addition. Extra pocket too.

Great size and very roomy, good quality, and nice classic design! My son loves it! It fits all his high school binders as they do not have lockers.

My high school daughter was going through backpacks almost weekly. I finally found the Big Student bag and have been amazed with its durability!!! She is still using this bag a year later! It is roomy, strong and durable!!! I just ordered one for her sister!!!

High quality book bag but the color is not Navy it is virtually black. If your school has a strict code, as my son's did, this was not in compliance for color.

Love this backpack. My kindergarten son is using it. It's lightweight, has enough compartments and can fit much more than he needs to carry but I prefer that to having to jam things into a just-big-enough bag. Also it's shorter than other bags I tried for him, so it looks smaller and more age appropriate even though its a full size bag. (Kid size bags were not roomy enough, of course this bag would obviously fit adults just fine.)

This is a GREAT backpack! I have three of these, one for my nine-year old and two for my six-year olds. This is the second year for my daughter and the backpack still looks brand new. There are two large zippered pockets in the back, we use one for wet winter stuff and the other one for folders and lunch sacks. There is another small pocket to hold shoes and a few other spots for stashing small items. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Zappos for having demonstration video's because it helped make my decision so much easier. LOVE YOU ZAPPOS!! XOXO

I bought this for my daughter to take overseas when she studied abroad. It had lots and lots of space and worked out very well. She used it as her personal item on the airplane and as a weekend bag during her stay overseas.

We love this backpack! My daughter got another brand backpack to start school this year and apparently it had a plastic zipper. It broke after a few months so we had to replace her backpack. A lot of kids at school have Jansport and so that is what she wanted. My requirement was a water bottle holder on the side as we live in AZ and she brings one every day. She loves this backpack. It's roomy, we love the color and it will last her more than one year. This color was on sale so that was even better but she loves it. Only downside is that the little flap of fabric near the zipper gets caught sometimes but she's figured it out. Otherwise, it's a great buy!

When my daughter's backpack broke in the middle of the school year I checked the stores in the area to buy a new one but they only sell backpacks right before school starts, so everyone was out. To make things more difficult, my daughter wanted this brand of backpack and a specific color. Zappos was the only place I found it! I ordered it online and it came the next day. Very pleased!

I bought the bag for my daughter and she is happy with it. We got what we expected, no surprises.

Purchased one for a kid in high school & one for kid in middle school and both are happy with bag. Jansport has excellent warranty which is a bonus.

My daughter loves the back pack and the colors. She has been using for 2 months and still looks new!

Perfect! My high school daughter chose it and can fit all books, binders, electronics, sports uniform! She loves it. And it's so strong! This bag is awesome!

Great quality backpack. I bought this bag for my son for school. He is very pleased with it. It is great for keeping all of his books and supplies organized and has comfortable shoulder straps.

It's more pink than the picture shows It's a great backpack. Holds all and has lots of nooks. It's BIG I know this will hold up as well as my last one- which is still in great shape after 5 years - just wanted a new style

My 7th grader loves this backpack. She doesn't have a locker and has to carry a lot of books, and this backpack holds them all. And she wanted extra pockets, which this has.

This backpack is a perfect fit for my son. He just started middle school this year and needed a backpack with more space without looking too bulky. This backpack is just what he wanted. It has plenty of room for his books and large binders. I always buy JanSport backpacks for their durability and quality. This one did not disappoint.

My 8th grader loved it. Searched for a backpack that was large enough for binders, homework and a lunch bag and this met her needs. One week into school and she has no complaints.
