So far, the product has been great! I would have terrible back issues with other backpacks I've used before. My North Face backpack hasn't been hurting my back and it feels lighter too. It gives great support for my back and you can tell the quality is superb! Super pleased!

I am in college and this backpack is perfect! There is a pocket which is ideal for storing a laptop. There is also a large pocket perfect for books as well as several smaller pockets for pens, phone, chapstick, etc. this is the third North Face backpack I've owned and it by far has the most cushion on the shoulder and back areas.

For strong and durable backpack. I enjoy it a lot, the only down side is that I would like that he zippers would go all the way down so it'll be easier for me to put my text books in.

I upgraded from the Jester because I wanted a little more storage space. It’s a wonderful backpack. Very comfortable, nice deep side pockets for drinks, the vented back panel keeps me from getting sweaty, lots of great little pockets and compartments too. I couldn’t be happier. Worth the money.

I loved it and wish it fit, but sadly I have a really small childbirth and it looked huge on me. I wouldn't orally buy if it was offered in a smaller size!

I liked the style of the navy blue and what appeared to be red string thing. Turns out it's actually pink. Wasn't happy about this but it's got great coverage for my Mac. The straps sort of feel like they put in cardboard.

I am a college student that was seeking a good looking but comfortable and supportive backpack. The bag does not hold as many books as I was hoping it would but I do take into account the fact that it is still new and may stretch to hold more as time goes on. Unfortunately the color did not match the picture exactly, but it was a close representation and overall I am still satisfied with the look of the bag. I would recommend this product to others but with these factors in mind!

I purchased this backpack just recently (earlier this month) to use for multiple purposes. I wanted to use it the backpack for work, travel, and possibly for outdoor use (hiking/kayaking). Since purchasing the backpack, I've been able to carry it daily to work (I'm a school counselor), and I'm able to fit everything nicely into it, even having extra room. I love the back sleeve for laptop carrying/protection. I'm a big fan of all of the pockets that makes it easy to house all my favorite writing utensils, chargers, and spare change for that mid day caffeine pick me up.
The main reason for the purchase was to use the bag as a carry on when traveling. Just this past Friday I returned from a four day trip to Texas (MD Anderson Cancer Center). This is the 2nd of several trips to come in the future, and I wanted a bag that I could carry my laptop, snacks, water, medical records/documents (of my dad's), as well as other work related items that would help pacify the time as I wait during doctor appointments. This bag did not disappoint. It was roomier than I expected, and the back cushiony design helped provide comfort for the heavy loads I carried. The attractive color scheme and lifetime warranty were both added bonuses! Appreciate a couple of coworkers making the North Face recommendation to me when I asked. Very satisfied!

I've been using North Face backpacks for years and I
will not be turning in any other direction. I am a student and recently I purchased another backpack after almost 4 years of use from my old North Face. Even then, it was still fully functional and in tact! I love the designs they offer and the new one I got I couldn't love more! I get tons of compliments and it fills all my needs. As a student, I'm constantly carrying around tons of books and my computer. I feel like this backpack not only has enough room for my books, but also has a protective area to keep my laptop from breaking even if I threw my bag across the room. I would definitely recommend this bag.

I use this backpack everyday for school. I needed a new one that was able to fit my bigger textbooks, but still comfortable enough to carry. The different compartments also allow the sectioning off of all my materials. Love this bag!

I use this backpack for commuting back and forth from home and college. At first it was very stiff and hard on my back, but after wear it became very soft and comfortable. Although I wish there were more smaller pockets, the main two compartments for your laptop and books is very roomy and can fit many things.

I use this product every day as a backpack. I conveniently store both my laptop and iPad in the laptop section which is very well padded and protects the devices. My smaller items fit well and are secured by the front section which contains individual pouches.

My husband bought me this for my return to college. I am an avid hiker and love it as a day pack. I love the look of the bag as well. It works well for my laptop but I am unable to put many books in it. Which, can be a good thing as this prevents over loading! The only real con I have it that this pack does not sit upright without being propped up.
It is so comfortable to wear! I am petite and have small shoulders. My last pack was uncomfortable due to wide straps. I also love that this pack has a vented back!

I bought this backpack 7 years ago to use for my senior year of high school and it survived that entire year, my 6 years of college, 2 trips to the Smoky Mountains, and more. You wouldn't even know that it's has old as it is because it doesn't show a single sign of breakdown. The only thing that makes it look it's age is that I need to clean it. I take it with me on every trip I go on because it's so roomy and durable. For college, I have to carry my laptop with me everywhere and have for all 6 years, and this backpack was perfect for that because not only does it have a padded pocket for it, but since the backpack is waterproof, I don't have to worry about it getting wet. There have been too many days to count that it has rained while walking to class and while everyone else has soaked books and electronics, mine has never soaked through, even on days I forgot my umbrella and it was pouring out. Highly recommend. I plan on having it for years and years to come.

Just received my Borealis Backpack. I like the overall design and color, but I didn't expect it to be so long. The material seems really sturdy, but kind of stiff. I trust it will get softer once broken into. I'd give the backpack five stars if it were a tad bit bigger. I'm afraid I might not be able to fit all of the books I need to take to school in it because it's smaller than I expected it to be. The shoulder pads and back padding are quite comfortable so I'm satisfied with that. Stands up by itself if you lean it next to a wall. I don't know if it would stand up if you lean it next to a chair in class. Hope it does. Might not want to put too many things in the second organizational pocket as it doesn't reach all the way down to the bottom of the bag, thus, makint it top heavy. Putting a small notebook or two in it is fine. Can't wait to use this backpack for school!

This backpack is the perfect fit for me! Has enough pockets and is super comfortable, even when carrying a lot of weight. Pretty pricey but totally worth the cost!
