This is the perfect bag for high school! Spacious, comfortable, durable and stylish.

I bought this for my daughter as she is starting high school and really loves the size, pockets, weight and comfort of the borealis

I've had northface backpacks since I started high school in 2014. I tried to live without one for a while but when I decided I needed to purchase another I went straight to the northface website. I live fairly close to work so I needed a bag that I could use while biking or walking and this is great! I like that it has straps for the chest and waist area so I know this will stay on while biking and possibly for hiking if the occasion presents itself. It can fit a 15" laptop that I use for work along with other smaller bags, a planner, and my lunch for the day. I plan to also use this bag as a personal item for flying because you can fit so much inside! This bag will get a lot of use.

I know a lot of people who use this backpack for school, and I heard great things about it so I decided to give it a try. So far, upon arrival, it seems good! I like the design and how there seems to be enough space (if not more) for my books.

My daughter originally purchased one but her dorm room at LSU was flooded out and she lost it so I purchased another one and of course as always she loves it more than life itself

I use this product for school and it is so nice for getting all of my things around campus! Sit has all of the features I need to allow me to be a successful college student.

Like the product

Great durable product. But as a note to North Face, their old backpack design had a really deep front pocket that fit all my stuff. The new, shallower front pocket is awkward and results in my stuff being front loaded into that pocket. The bottom of my backpack is always hollow and ends up being wonky.

Using for school... great item!

This is a good looking backpack, but i've got a couple concerns... Firstly, the straps are hard as heck.. I am praying that its just an issue that is not going to stay around, Im hoping that i can break into the straps to make it more adaptable to my shoulders. Secondly, the back board is extremely hard.. it was a bit bent when it came to me which i have no big issue about, but when i tried to bend it back. It was very hard material so it was difficult. I thought that this "backboard" on the bag would be not such thick material up to the point where its so solid where you can even stand the bag up without having to lean it on something. This "backboard" is for ur back to be against as well as a inner pocket where most likely a laptop sleeve would be place.... mine did NOT come with a laptop sleeve, it was straight up this hard foam material. Thirdly, this bad is quite heavy as it is, without nothing in it. It is heavy duty, but if ur looking to purchase this for someone whose in middle school or quite small like i am. I wouldn't recommend. The design of this bag is stunning and is what originally drew me into this buy, but I hope that North Face does consider changing the material of the straps as well as the "backboard" of the bag. For now, I'm going to hope that im able to break into my bag and somehow get it to mold someone into a comfy position for me.

Child's school book bag

I recently started my junior year of highschool, I decided that I wanted something from North-face that would last me through the rest of highschool and for college. This backpack was PERFECT for me and I love it!! I also love the extra hard backed part for a laptop. A lot of pockets, and space is also a big plus for me! Long story short, I LOVE it so much and would definitely recommend this product to someone in the future.

Exactly what I was looking for, good investment since they last without ripping or wearing out. I also own a Surge North Face Backpack. The Surge does have more room and pockets. I will state however I purchased the all backpack with the grey north face logo and the one I received was all black with a black logo. Really liked how the grey stood out but don't mind the black on black.

I loved the color and the design, lots of room and able to carry your laptop. Buit to last, my only issue with the backpack is that it was too small my height is 5'11" and it was too small, I felt most of my back wasn't covered and the backpack piled too much on my neck. I wish I could use the backpack but I'm returning it and buying a male backpack, seeing if size changes.

I use this for school it has plenty of room for books and computer.

I purchased this back pack for my daughter. It is a great product. The only issue is it did not come as described, the baby blue accents were missing,which was disappointing to say the least for my middle schooler. If anyone has a back to school middle schooler you can relate .I trust the North Face brand,since my son is an avid user. But there's a "silver lining "or should I say a baby blue one! I called customer service and the representative was so professional and helpful. And the problem was resolved I. A flash her replacement bag is on its way . Thank you for upholding the wonderful standards!!!

Ordered for my daughter in college and she absolutely loved it! Awesome color and craftsmanship.

This is a great size for a school bag. It's not too big but it holds everything you'd need.

I purchased this book bag for my daughter. She loves the design and color.

I use this product for college. It holds all my books and folders including my 13 inch laptop. The backpack is very roomy. In the front it has a pocket specific for your phone, charger, pens/ pencils etc...

Great backpack! Very durable

I bought this backpack for my 14 yo granddaughter and had it shipped directly to her. I have not seen it in person, but she tells me she loves it.

I love the way this backpack looks and all the pockets it includes. I just wish the front pocket (where you put pens, pencils, and small personal items) had a little more room and extended to the bottom of the backpack instead of stopping in the middle. Overall, I'm very pleased!
