I love the colors and the space this backpack has. It holds a lot and is very comfortable.

11 days into school and water bottle pouch has holes in it. This is not from abuse. I have noticed other students with brand new packs like mine doing the same. I had a jester for more that four years and it never has holes in water bottle pouch. I needed a new pack because my water bottle is bigger now and the new pack is made for larger water bottles. The material was a poor choice.

This is my second Northface bookbag and I cannot say enough great things about this bookbag! I just hope I get 6 years out of this one too! This is the only bag I have found that is large enough to hold the heavy load I have to carry with college. As a future teacher I know I will get years of use out of this book bag.The pockets allow you to seperate things to stay organized. The built in laptop protection is awesome. The side pockets are the perfect size for a standard size water bottle. The color choices make it easy to find one to fit your style. This bag is so durable and you can wipe off the surface when you get something on it. I absolutely love this book bag!

Going to be using this for school but I'd totally take it on a long hike too if I needed more space than my smaller packs have. It's even sturdier than I expected (mostly the back) and comfortable.

I ordered this backpack because my friends swore by it and said it was really great for walking around campus with all of our books and laptops for class. But then again, I didn't think of how it would fit on a girl who is considered as plus size while my friends are the typical small girls. For my bigger girls out there, I don't recommend this backpack for you, the straps are too short for a long torso and they dug into my collarbones and shoulders. The weight was also not distributed well throughout the backpack and made my back feel like it was on fire after carrying it around all day. The straps overall were too small and the "for a woman" design is aimed towards smaller girls that this backpack can fit on their frame.

As a graduate student I knew that I wanted a backpack that fit all of my books, a computer, lunch and water bottle. I normally buy a Patagonia but I heard a north face back is just as durable. The bag does fit most of what I need though it take a while to organize it right however the side pocket quality is horrible. I carry a Hydroflask water bottle and within the first two months the mesh has medium size tears already. It looks tattered and worn out just after 2momths! I am very disappointed in the product. I will switching back to Patagonia.

I use this product for my classes. i commute to classes on my bike and this backpack is really light and comfortable. Really great product!

I use the backpack for school and will use it for occasional travel as well but so far its been holding up well and I love the burnt coral and heather gray color as well as the overall design it's very practical and stylish.

It has helped me a lot in school and keeping my shoulders comfortable after carrying lots of books.

This backpack is really great! Perfect size, it's fit everything I need. And I love the separate tech/lab top pocket. It really adds that extra protection and it fits perfectly.

I just received my book bag 10 minutes ago and I have to say it's everything I expected! I haven't used a book bag since High School however my work and school bag were getting heavy and I needed something with more pockets to organize my full time job and full time student books, etc. This is the perfect combination of being stylish and useful. I remember having a North Face book bag in High School and it was just as durable then as it is now.

I decided on this bag for class. Off the rack, the bag looked great, appeared roomy and practical for what I needed it for. Right before school started, I packed my bag with all of my items - just three notebooks and one binder, which filled the entire main compartment. No more room for additional books or extras, which is what I found disappointing, considering the bag looks very large at first glance. You'd think it would fit much more! And I guess I am the only one who thinks the fit is strange and uncomfortable; I'm surprised with all of the rave reviews. Even with adjustments, the bag had an odd too-high-fit on my back, and despite all of the cushioning (the cushioning was nice, actually), the fit still felt rigid and stiff. The way the backing is structured reminded me of the top of a plastic storage bin covered with cushioned fabric - didn't seem like it would break in over time. I did appreciate all of the extra little pockets to store miscellaneous items, but overall I disliked the bag overall and unfortunately ended up returning it. I went with a Patagonia Paxat instead, which felt amazing the moment I put it on.

Great for college students, use it on a daily basis to carry my laptop and books for school, definitely worth the buy!

The pockets snag easy and get holes but TNF is offering to to replace. The bag is perfect for a teen that carries a change of clojtrs for sports, chrome book and other essentials. Glad we picked this over the jester which I think would Have been too small for her needs.

I love this backpack! It has a lot of storage space on the inside without looking too big, which is something I really appreciate. I also like how the water bottle pockets on the sides are stretchy, accommodating big and small bottles. I just like the overall sturdy-ness of the backpack. Cons: not enough pockets.
