I'm sorta between an 8.5 and 9; I ordered both and kept the 9. Really like the Elk/River Blue color combination and though they're hiking boots, they're fairly lightweight and don't make my feet look huge. Changed the insoles to orthotics I have for plantar fasciitis; original insoles seemed thin without much arch support. Boots are comfortable and cushioning around ankle is good, particularly because the laces allow for adjusting the fit around the ankle. Use for walking dogs or on trails in the woods. For the price ($54) could not be happier. (I'm somewhat fit, age 63.)

I am very pleased with the color - quarry/ new wave . It's a beautiful shade of grey. The fit is comfortable.
I ordered a wide so there's plenty of room for my feet.

I ordered half a size up and wide which gave my feet plenty of room space. It felt really comfortable.
Also totally loved the color and design !
I am thinking of ordering another pair in a different color....

I loved these so much the first time I bought them, that I bought the same ones again. My husband and I hike just about every weekend in California mountains, and my previous pair has lasted for well over five years. The only reason why I am replacing them is because my feet for some reason are now larger so I bought in a bigger size.

This hiking book is perfect for getting muddy and doing pretty low-key hiking. It's a great fit around the ankle especially, and not too heavy.

Bought these on a friend's recommendation and took them for a spin on an incredibly muddy hike. I stepped in plenty of mud and water, but my feet were completely dry. The boots are also very comfortable. No blisters, and my feet felt pretty good even after the first hike without having to break them in. Would recommend!

These hiking boots are comfortable out of the box! I wear a 9 and purchased a 9 and they fit perfect with a medium thickness sock. They are of quality, stylish and the color is perfect.

Bought these for an April trip to the Isle of Skye because they're also waterproof and looked sturdy. Immediately put it to use on my daily walks through un-plowed snow and while rearranging my basement. Pretty sure the shoes saved my toes a few times when I dropped several boxes of books. Happy with my purchase and can't wait to put them to use in the Scottish Highlands.

When i finally wore out my first pair, i was overjoyed to find the same style still available. I've worn them in corn fields, bean fields, deep mud, and deeper snow. I may not be a hiker, but I'm definitely a worker. These are so comfortable, and i love the way they look. I'm a Columbia fan forever, as are my cats. Tying my boots up in the morning = PLAY TIME. I go thru a lot of shoestrings.
