I purchased a 7.5 which is a half size up than my normal size. I've recently started wearing these after having then for over a year. They were great originally but my last few hikes I've been on these shoes have caused me pain on my ankles. They were rubbing of every step and caused me to have over sensitive pain. My ankles literally felt like rubber because of the constant rubbing. Honestly wish I can return these for low hiking boots. Very unsatisfied..

Was really excited about these boots, and they fit me perfectly. I worked on breaking them in before using them on a larger hike. Once I used them on a larger hike to reach a summit, my feet were trashed. I got 5 blisters and they are still healing more than a week after the hike. I'm bummed cause I really wanted to hike a lot this summer, and waiting for my feet to heal sucks. I love the look of these boots and the durability seems good, but it's comfort evidently isn't good when going on longer hikes.

So looking forward to getting these boots. When I ordered them I noticed others mentioning they ran small so I ordered 1/2 size larger, so the fit was fine. However, when I tried the boot on it was stiff, uncomfortable and offered little to no padding to support my foot. I could already anticipate the blisters I was going to get on my first hike. I decided to forego the hiking and simply returned them before they could do any damage. So very disappointed. This was a reminder to me of the reason why I rarely purchase footwear online.
