Nice color of yellow. Good balance, not too heavy. Stops when you release your fingers on the switch, which is great. Easy to assemble and disassemble and clean. Safe.

The blender works very well--actually, better than it feels as if it does--and the instruction booklet does a really good job of describing how any hand blender should be used. The two speeds are useful, too. But: it really is heavy. And while my rather small hand fits around it just fine--I don't feel insecure using it!--the weight can get tiring if the job takes a while.

This is my second one. First had a bad accident and decided to replace it with the same one. Good power, does the job very well.

Just bought this hand blender, and it's been great. The detachable blender arm makes cleanup a breeze. Other products that attach to the motor (not included) look like they could be useful too.

I know it doesn't seem like much but when my husband brought this home I was really excited .I could finally make better sauces and creamier soups. I love everything about this except for the fact that sometimes when I am using it the two sections easily come apart. You have to make sure it's on good and you can't always tell until you start to use it and they come apart. I've only used it twice but that would be my only complaint.

This is an excellent product although it is a bit heavy to use. Need to make handle smaller for people with smaller hands.

A basic hand-held blender that does what it needs to. I was hoping it would work a little better with frozen fruit, but I know that's a high bar. The "on" button was a little hard to press, as well.

I have a very picky cat who wants her food pured. Found that she is not alone and it was suggested to get a hand blender. Since I just purchased a new kitchen aid mixer decided to also get the hand blender. She is now eating more of her food, so we are both happy!

I've meant to buy one of these for a long time. Let me say how much simpler it has made life. No longer do I have to haul out the old mixer or blender for smaller jobs. This one is pretty sturdy. I do note that from time to time frozen items like blueberries get stuck so you have to use your finger to pry it all out. And it is really important to follow instructions and keep the blender at an angle.

It got me through tomato season and blended everything beautifully. The button gets hard to hold down if you've been blending for a while, but that is just natural fatigue. It's tough, easy use, I can throw the blending end in the dishwasher, and it does a good job. I'm completely satisfied.

Having used the Braun hand blenders for several I was pleasantly surprised with the operation and lighter handling weight of rhetoric the kitchenaid blender a great value

This is a good immersion blender. It does the job without much mess as long as you keep the blades completely immersed throughout the process. My complaint is the handle is quite thick. It makes it a bit cumbersome to hold while pressing the power button, which has to be continuously held down in order for the blender to function. If it had a slightly thinner handle and an optional lock feature for the power button, it would be a sure 5 stars. However, lacking those, it's a high 4.

I had a Cuisinart previously. This works about as well. I do like the 3 cup bowl that comes with it. Cleans up fast and easy.

I would echo many of the reviews. Very nice blender but we've found that the cord has dried out and the protective insulation cracked up & down the cord. Wrapping it with electrical tape is a temp fix. Wish we could just unplug the cord from the unit each time instead of it being integral and having to wrap it tightly around the handle area.

I love that the bottom attachment can go in the dishwasher - super handy. My husband decided to use this on mashed potatoes - I was a little nervous. It worked great - pureed them to a paste!! Not how I like my potatoes but it worked awesome :-)

good pulsing action and blade blending, cutting of nuts and harder foods. Mixes the food well
very tippy if left in the blending canister.
like that the bottom part can be removed from the main handle.

I got this as a wedding gift and love the ice blue color. I was disappointed to notice that the plastic begins to crack after a few times of use. I have always used a cuisinart version of this tool and never had that problem.

Love my new KitchenAid 2 speed hand blender. First time I used it 04/16/16 bought it 12/21/15 and it made the best instant pudding I ever had and pancakes. The cord isn't long enough, to reach from the outlet, to where I need to use it. Not easy to clean. It is easy to use and fast. I want to be able to purchase attachments that fit my "Empire Red" KitchenAid 2 speed hand blender and other counter top appliances.
