I ordered a pair of black 33x30 505 Regular because the blue 33x30 505 Regular that I ordered a while back is my favorite pair of jeans. However, the black pair is WAY SMALLER than the blue pair, even though they are both supposedly the same exact size, brand and make. I had to return these as they were way too tight in the legs and waist.

What a disappointment! 505 Jeans purchased from Zappos are significantly different than the ones that I purchased from Kohl's. The material is thinner, the sizing is inconsistent and the colors in medium stonewash vary remarkably.

These were great jeans but the waist size was maybe two inches too small.

Last time I buy Levi’s. 1) the quality has dropped considerably since I bought my last 505s; and 2) they seem to be selling different product (the Levi’s at Macy’s are even worse than the ones I was able to source from Zappos. Really too bad, they were once a great brand.

I purchased my regular size in Levi's Jeans - never had a problem. Purchased these 505s in Afrobeat Stretch and was disappointed that I couldn't even get them on after they arrived today. What the? Perhaps it's a labeling error? Love Zappos but beware of the sizing on these Levi's! They're not supposed to stretch THAT much.

Just when you thought Levi's couldn't do anything more to ruin their jeans, now they make the pockets so shallow it barely covers your whole hand. Not very useful Levi's even if it saves you a few cents on the cost. Is this company run by idiots?

Quality control has seriously dropped at the Levi's company. I find that, as others have noted, the sizes are very inconsistent and I never know when I'm getting the "stretch" version as opposed to 100% cotton. Finally, I hate that they've gone from 7 belt loops to 5. I love Zappos, but for my jeans, I now go to LL Beans for consistency of fit and material.

I have a pair of Regular traditional fits that are so comfortable I have them on every day, all day. So I bought another pair today and what a disappointment. The style is regular traditional fit, but no comparison to the first pair. The waist is tight (36 x 30) as is the seat down through the thighs.

These 505s are advertised as 100% cotton. They aren't. They are 98% cotton with 2% lycra/spandex. Zappos should correct this description. They are comfortable, but because they are stretchy they will never shrink correctly and I feel like I am wearing maternity jeans designed to expand as I expand.

Not satisfied! Seems to be made more cheaply than my other Levi's. Material seems to be thinner and the stitching is shotty. I would not be surprised if these were actually black market jeans.

Too bad Levis doesn't make 505's with boot cut, and who would recognize the denim used by Levi these days? My 505's are thin and they collect lint while I wear them. This freaks me out. These are not the denim Levi's we used to know.

Zappos. The store of stores. Wonderful and courteous help. I order a pair of Levi's and they continued to off color (they didn't fade, the dye just kept coming off on furniture. Instantly Zappos replaced them with speed and politeness. I will continue to make them my destination shop.

The styling of the 505's has changed. I have been wearing 505's for years. I recently purchased a couple pairs and noticed that they sat down on my waist. I thought they were defective until I read a few reviews and checked Levis web site and this is evidently the new cut for these pants. So unfortunately I'll have to switch to a different brand to get the fit I'm used to.

What a waste of money. My son has been wearing 505's forever. These are NOT 505 jeans - the material and fit are different. They were kind-of-ok until they were washed, then the fit got worse and the material became even thinner. Unfortunately I can't return them now. Levis should be ashamed!

These are not nearly as dark as the picture indicates the fume color is, and the fit in the thighs is tighter than I anticipated.

I play a lot of golf in warmer weather. The fabric was stiff and did not breathe. Not a good fit for my body.

Waist seemed true to size but seat and thighs were tight. Advertised as having hook and eye closure with waist relaxer inset but had neither.

Bought these because of the hook and eye closure and the waist relaxer inset, neither of which were present. The leg and thigh both felt rather tight but the waist seemed true to size.

Wrong item sent, this is not dark rinse.

This is the second time I ordered a 36x32 and received a 36x36. Will not order again.

Defective product-weak seam

The fit and size was ok, but I have been wearing Levis 505's for years. The sizing has changed over the years but I give these a one star simply for the reason that Levis used to be fairly durable and these are so thin, not like denim should be but more like the weight of a heavy T-Shirt. I'll be looking elsewhere!

It made me look like skinny jeans. Like Slim jeans it was so tight not what I expected at all. If you wanted this to be a little bit more comfortable like the old 505 get it a lot a bit bigger than your normal size

These were supposed to be All Cotton No Stretch. They are Stretch ad do not fit right.
