I'm sure I ordered this shoe in a 6E but it came in 4E. I have been wearing this shoe for a while and it is a good wearing shoe. I work in a deli and it is very slip resistant on the wet floors.

I really like these shoes. They fit pretty much like "gym" shoes and they are very comfortable. The size, for me was perfect as I have narrow feet and wear 11.5 N size. They look great with jeans and I've also worn them to the local YMCA.

Great shoes. Very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Quality shoe, and it comes in an extra-wide 6E size! At last, a shoe that allows me to tie up the shoelaces and still have room to be comfortable!

This shoe was true to size.I wear a size 15M and it is hard to find this style of shoe that fits right out of the box. Looks like they are very well constructed. I put a lot of miles on my shoes and have enjoyed these for just one month so far.

These shoes are absolutely great! They arrived within two days from my order date. They fit perfectly and there was no break-in period and they are the most comfortable shoes that I have in my wardrobe. They also look great with jeans and khakis.

My husband will not shop, so I took a chance and ordered these for him. He loves them! He spends a lot of time at the gym, and these are stable for weight lifting, and supportive for running on the treadmill.

I have very wide, old feet. My wife and I walk 5 miles every morning and we love to hike. We also travel quite a bit and spend lots of time walking around in cities. This is my 2nd pair of this model and they are so comfortable.

Getting old...arthritis in my feet. Had NB tennis before but they felt tight. Went up 1/2 size and 1 width; with the 2L (neat option) these feel great. I even have room for my Dr. Scholl's when needed for a sore heel.

I just got my 928s and I walked around the motor home inside and I know they will work. I wear an orthotic and the fit is excellent. I read the negative comments and wondered how my shoes would fit. They have a wonderful fit. Some folks may have different expectations than this old man but I like them.

Extremely comfortable shoe, excellent traction. Like wearing cross trainer that looks like a casual shoe. This is only the third shoe I've found anywhere that fits my problem wide feet.

I have peroneal tendinitis. The shoe was recommended by a podiatrist. In combination with orthotics my rather severe and debilitating foot pain has been substantially reduces.

I am a woman who bought this shoe in white, grey and brown. I cannot get my width in ladies' styles. The shoe is very comfortable -- especially in the grey suede. There is room for my orthotics and the shoe looks attractive with slacks. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for comfort.

Zappos is par excellence...in 24 hours I had my dream shoes on. Wearing grey sweats daily the grey New Balance shoes made me complete.

I started with the MW925 and have been buying this series at the recommendation of a doctor because of severe arthritis in my right foot just below the ankle. I remove the insole and replace it with Dr. Scholl's gel insole and an orthotic. For my right foot, I have a brace which has an orthotic built-in. These shoes really stabilize my ankle and foot and helps a lot. I am a big man 6'3" weighing 275 pounds and find that I need to replace these at 4-6 month intervals. But overall, these shoes really help. I like buying from Zappos because my 14D size is available and shipping usually only takes 1-2 days.

These are very comfortable shoes. I have been wearing this same brad for five years. I really like them and they help with my foot problems.

These shoes are very comfortable and are not as hot as regular leather athletic shoes. I love them!

My husband has a pair of these and he's ready to buy another. He has a lot of problems with his feet and these are about all he can walk in. Style is great, they look good with khakis and blue jeans. He wears them to work with slacks. But there's not much in dress shoes that feel good.

Got these to use with orthotic. Works well as the throat is wide enough to fit both foot and device.

I love these shoes! I have worn them since 2007 when it was 926! I have purchased a new pair every year and keep three pairs around the house (one for mowing, one for regular use/rain, one for during nice days or to look better. Every year the bottom shoe gets bumped!) I have not had shoes like these before! They are amazing! So much so, my wife now buys them and so does my Dad! I prefer a big arch support so I do get a different insole but my wife and my Dad do not. The updated 928 is fantastic and the minor things that I did not like about the 927, like the eyehole for the lace wearing down was fixed by a metal eyehole and some odd wear was fixed from a redesign of how the top of the shoe looks. I love these shoes and I look forward to January to buy a new pair! Do yourself a favor and ignore these other people and buy these shoes!

This purchase was my first experience with Zappos. I am pleased to report that the entire experience has been nothing short of remarkable. The selection offered by the mall store does not begin to compare, I ordered these on a Friday evening and my purchase arrived on the following Monday. Naturally, my selection was personalized to my tastes but I cannot express adequately how well my expectations were exceeded. The fit and feel of these walking shoes are amazing. I have neuropathy in my feet and these shoes have greatly helped in restoring my normal walking stride. It is safe to say that both Zappos and New Balance will be my first choice when I shop for my next pair of shoes.

I've been wearing these shoes for years. They were recommended to me by my podiatrist. They are comfortable and the support my feet well. I never get callouses any more because my shoes are too narrow. I'm hard on shoes and I wear my shoes down on the outer part of the heel. When the outer heel wears down I just order another pair. I have flat feet and I never have any difficulties with these shoes. These shoes hold up very well.

These shoes are a remarkable fusion of good support and even better looks. I replaced the plain brown laces with a pair of brick red ones from another company and uses these shoes for both work and social outings. I live in the mountains of western Massachusetts and daily walks with the dog entail lots of gravel and glacial rocks in the fields. These shoes have unfailing stability and have prevented many a turned ankle. Add a little mink oil and scuffs and scratches disappear instantly. For those of us who need a shoe with maximum stability that doesn't looks like something an orderly wore in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," this shoe is a can't miss. It is most attractive and adaptive.

This shoe is the gold standard by which all orthotic shoes are measured. It provides a very stable platform and the toe box is deep enough to accommodate my inserts and AFO brace. The service provided by the staff at Zappos is excellent. The prices are competitive and I usually receive the order within one week.

Zappos service is second to none. Simply outstanding. I've been a New Balance wearer for some 30 years and can't understand why some reviewers have anything but positive comments about the 928. Some reviewers lamented the 928's weren't like previous styles, or that the construction wasn't what it should be. I couldn't be happier, and I put the 928's through their paces on a daily basis. If you're searching for supreme comfort, stability, support and solid, simple construction, you can't go wrong with the NB 928's.
