I totally agree with "Eric B" --these 928's are NOT the same shoe as the old 927's--I wore out 2 pair of the 927's walking all day long on concrete floors in a home improvement warehouse--thought they were the best shoes I'd ever worn. Went back to store to get my third pair and was happy to pay for them--but was told they had been discontinued and replaced by the "new and improved" 928's. I gladly purchased them and wore them to work only to my shock and surprise, that by lunch, my feet were killing me and they seemed to not have near the cushioning the old 927's had. Had to go home and change back into my old shoes. New Balance better get their act together or they're going to lose all their business. Now a FORMER New Balance customer.

4th pair. Great shoe for comfort. I love the very wide size, and the support I get. I am a letter carrier and on my feet all day and at the end if the day with these shoes my feet are not tired at all. I have diabetes and found that with the 928's my feet have all the room to make them not squeezed together. Also the inside has no seam so it feels like I don't have a shoe on at all at times.

I was hoping that this was just an updated version of the NB MW927, but it is a completely different model with a completely different fit. NB shoes used to be ones that the same size and width would fit from model to model, but no more!

This is a very comfortable shoe. I needed the extra wide width and women's styles do not go that wide. The price is high but comparable to the stores.

This is the second pair I have purchased of this model. I'm a daily walker outside or inside a mall for 40 minutes or so. This model of shoe is great for walking.

If you're going to mark a shoe 6E it should be a 6E. They are 3/16 inch narrower than my Red Wing 6E's

This shoe has been badly cheapened by New Balance. It is now made in Vietnam; previous models were made in China. Sizing is all wrong. I ordered a 6E -- it is no where near that, and the overall construction seems flimsy. Disappointed in New Balance.

Zappos is great, but I am loosing faith with New Balance. The 926 fit fine, but the 927 has too much space in heels, but the toe fine. In the 928 the front part is too oval shaped.

The shoes were a disappointment because the glue that would hold the sole together was falling apart. I've never seen this happen before and I felt bad for my brother because they were a gift to him. I order from Zappos very frequently as a VIP member and I really wish I would have called and see if they would've taken them back because it was in months that it happened. It was just very poor quality or maybe I received a fluke.

Have been buying the cheaper NB walking shoe. This one is far more comfortable and supportive.

I have owned these shoes for a year wore them everyday, suede was a pain to clean but it looks good! I am a heavy set guy so having a pair of shoes that I use daily last a year was awesome. I will buy this pair again just not in suede! They are great for work, they could use more support.

My brother wears a size 10, 6E. Due to arthritic feet. I didn't specify "hook and loop" for Velcro so he got laces and didn't want to return them. Fits great!

At 74 yrs. old and 300 lbs, fortunately, I have just one achy knee, but these shoes let me go for long, pain-free walks, of an hour or two.

It took almost a week to get these. Overnight? Not even close. Delivery was 7:30 PM, interrupted us, our dogs went crazy. I asked for double EE width, but got single E.

Love these shoes! Even though this particular pair are for men, as a woman, I wear them myself and have for years. Very comfortable and true to size. I love Zappos! Love have you can order anything and will be at my door in 24 hours with free S/H. And returning the same way! Thanks Zappos!

These are the best walking shoes that I have owned! I am ordering another pair immediately. I walk at least two miles per day, everyday and this is like being on a cloud.

The service offered by Zappos is terrific. The delivery time is great and the product is exactly what I wanted. With diabetic neuropathy in my feet, these shoes offer the kind of support that I require. Very nice!

I had spent some time researching for a good walking shoe. The MW 928 turned out much better then expected.

Shipping was prompt but we ordered the wrong size and so had to send back. Person on phone was very helpful since we had thrown away shipping box and return info. The right size came, again very promptly and they are just right. Great way to shop for my husbands hard to find size.

Received my shoes on time as expected. The shoes fit fine. This is better than having to go out to the store.

I read a lot of reviews before buying these 928's. I fully disagree with all the negatives, get a life,or your feet have definite problems! These are the most comfortable pair I have had in along time , I have bought new balance for many years! I did buy green super feet arch supports which I always use,because of fallen arches. Good job new balance and zappos!!

These shoes support my feet very well, they are firm and comfortable. I had broken my ankle years ago and they give my foot the support needed. They are on the warm side, so should be great in winter.
