I love them! Just wear socks! Got a blister the second day of breaking them in. Other than that, it's as if I am walking on air.

I needed a durable and comfortable shoe for work since I'm on my feet for 6-8 hours, but I also wanted something stylish. I tried two other different shoes but I found exactly what I wanted in this shoe.

I run trails and cement paved paths for about 4-6 miles a couple times a week and I love this shoe. It is supportive, sturdy and for me being a runner I always order a half size up for athletic shoes so I am normally a 6 1/2 but order a size 7 always for running shoes and this fits perfect. Break in time just 3 days! :)

I was starting running again after 2 years away so I needed some good shoes. I have always done well with Zappos and Nike and was not disappointed in fact, impressed with the experience. The reviews said they run a little small and suggested 1/2 size larger and I agree. I'm off running and feeling strong again.

I bought these for my girlfriend and she loves them. They are super light and do killer on the trails. They are great for trips to Tahoe.

I bought half size larger than I normally would wear. These are perfect for my day trips to the sierra's fishing! Excellent tread and stylish with the pink on them! These are comfortable & sturdy enough to wear everyday, but I plan on using them just for outdoor hikes.

I bought these and got 7.5 Wide and I am 7.5. Trying them on they were narrow until I tried on the wide ones. I would say they run narrow and to get wide if you feel that way. Wide ones are comfortable. They are very cute and give me a lot of support for running and working out at the gym. My toes used to hurt from my other shoes and now no more toe pain. I'd say the color combo is one of the best ones out there for women's Nikes because you can wear pink, grey, or blue to match. There are some really great Nike Airs out there and some cool colors. Also, more comfortable to me than the New Balances, Filas, etc that I tried on.

I must be the odd one out, but I found these to be true to size. I normally always take a 10 and ordered the 10.5 wide to be safe. They fit with plenty of room, even with thick socks on.. also don't have any problems with blisters. I hesitated based on the previous reviews, but they work great for me. I would definitely give them a try, especially with the Zappos return policy. I ordered the Black/Fireberry and they are beautiful.

I speed walk. Between the training and races my shoes take a pounding. These are the most comfortable I've had recently. Furthermore, they are attractive.

Super comfortable. Ordered the wide size and was worried they would be too wide, but they are perfect.

Because of my flat feet and not so stable body I need the most supportive shoes that I can find. I have turned to Nike's trail running shoes because of their stability. The Alvord are one of these and are one of the better trail running shoes that I have gotten. Very supportive and strong.

I purchased these Nike's in the magenta color scheme and when I wear them I get so many compliments from friends and complete strangers! They are a really good looking shoe and I love the gray color. They are also very comfortable and offer relatively good support. I wear them when running around town and on the treadmill and they are great. I love them so much I am considering ordering another pair!

I love the Nike Air Alvord 10 running shoes. They are super comfortable from day one, and gave me just the right amount of support. The stealth/lime/fuscia ones are a sharp color combination, they are serious but with a touch of girlyness - and as a bonus they do not show dirt. I have found that Nikes run small in general so whereas I wear a size 10 in all other shoes, in Nikes I have to order 11. I am not happy about that but you know what they say - big feet, big... heart.

I love the Nike Air Alvord so much when the metallic silver/hot punch color combo went on sale in women's size 10 I snapped them up for future wear. I got them and the colors are so much better in person. The pink is more of a day glo salmon, and the silver has a great sheen. My other review goes into the details of the practical benefits-- traction, comfort and high wearability.

I LOVE these sneakers. First time I wore them wasn't too happy because they were so stiff and got a blister. After breaking them in they have proved to be incredibly comfortable and useful. Size 10 perfect fit, no problem with the lack of lace holes, my feet don't "fall out." Sneakers are meant to be laced tightly so your foot does not move within the shoe. Not comfortable as walking shoes on the street. Amazing as a trail shoe and "winter sneaker" in that they offer traction without being a boot. Obviously still be careful on ice. Highly recommended.

I love Nikes, especially Nike Air. They’re the only athletic shoe I wear because they’re the only ones that always fit my hard-to-fit narrow-ish foot, and they’re well made, and they’re comfortable because the support is good. My normal size range is 8 to 8.5, and in the Nike, it’s 8.5, and in these Alvords, I got the 8.5 M, but the 9 probably would have worked too if I’d wanted to use an orthotic or worn heavier socks. I ordered the black with the magenta and turquoise accents - Anthracite/Blue Glow/Cool Grey/Fireberry. Unlike in the photo, in person the black is a dark grey, and the magenta is predominant, and the turquoise is hardly noticeable. Not a criticism, just an observation. Really like the colors. In general I’d guess that if you’re in between sizes, order up. Another reviewer said that if you have a wide foot these might feel pretty snug, and I agree although I see they offer a W, so that might work out.

Comfortable sneakers, though the backs are a bit high and rubbed my achilles tendon the first few times I wore them.

I had a pair of the Nike Air Alvord 9s prior to these shoes (had to retire them after the Tough Mudder...they performed great). I would have gotten the 9s again, but they were no longer available in my size. The 10s fit and feel just like the 9s. I generally wear a size 8, but I always get 8.5 in running shoes, and that held true for these ones as well. I have a narrow foot and high arch, and these fit well. If you have a wide foot, these might feel pretty snug. These shoes are a good balance of stability and cushion. I use these for regular running and have a neutral stride, and these are a good balance of stability and cushioning. I got the black and pink, and I love the bright accents. These shoes are a great value.

Ordering these shoes was easy! The shoes were ordered on a Thursday and came Friday. I love Zappos and their fast shipping. But these shoes fit true to size, they are so comfortable. I am a nurse so working 8-12 hour shifts these shoes keep my feet comfortable.

Will say the same as everyone else...go bigger. I normally wear an 8 and am borderline a wide foot. I tried 8 1/2 and my toes were still jammed at the top of the shoe and shoe was too snug. Went with a 9 and it fit perfectly. I've never worn a nine in my life. I love the shoe and it is very comfortable once you get the right size. Grey color is lighter than picture.

Great fit. My feet don't look wide but many shoes seem too narrow and cramp the baby toe. These are just right. I've worn out the Alvord 8 and am now enjoying the Alvord 10. I just wish there were other color combinations to select.

Definitely order a size larger. I wear a 9.5 and the 10s were a little snug. They run on the narrow side which is great for me!!! I tried other brands and keep coming back to Nike since it is hard for me to find a comfortable, lightweight sneaker that fits my narrow-ish foot (and I also have flat feet). Love love the colors!!! I did add an insert for a little more support since I need it.
