These are so cute and have become my favorite shoe from day one of wear! I have the Berry Burnish, which are a little redder than the photo, but also just as lovely. I now have a few pairs of Alegria and find them to be worth the money. These were comfortable right out of the box. If you have high arches, this brand is much more comfortable and wearable than Dansko.

These shoes are so perfect for me. I love the mini rocker bottom. The other Alegria shoe that uses this last is the Belle which I also have and love. Alegria has great arch support, wonderful toe room, and both Pesca and Belle feel secure and comfortable all day. The style of these shoes is wonderful, they always look neat and snazzy.

I love the looks of my Alegria shoes, they are not ugly and I get compliments on them all the time. I ordered boots today for next winter, on sale, and sandals for this summer. My feet can't do without my Alegria's. My high arches love them. I am 67 and loving them every day.

I ordered this shoe in a 38 which was too short, so I exchanged for a 39. Received in record time, but, shoe is too big. I have a narrow heel and it stood out in the back, even with the Velcro fastener. I loved the style and color, but until Alegria comes in a narrow, I guess I will have to do without. Thanks Zappos for wonderful service.

Have not worn these very much yet, but the day I received them I put them one and wore them for the rest of the day. I specifically purchased these for a trip to Europe in the summer. I feel that these shoes will handle the cobblestone streets and walkways very well. I do not consider these the most beautiful shoes, but I am more interested in comfort and stability.

They are super! I have wide feet and very tender toes due to surgery. These were comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are attractive and most of all the protect my toes.

I ordered in cactus - love the color and the brand. They mold to your feet the more you wear. This is one of my favorite styles. I wear a 9 and the 39 fits perfect.

I love this brand! Beautifully made, so comfy right out of the box! I have wide, flat feet, serious back pain, and the foot bed is perfect. This style runs half size larger than clog style.

Very comfy shoes. The leather will need to be softened but I can tell that will happen in a reasonable amount of time. I hate tennis shoes or anything that ties so this is my everyday walking shoe.

Bought a pair of these in pink last summer and like them so much I bought another in this lovely green -- even though I live in Maine and summers are short. Very comfortable with or without socks.

Very funky, very cool and unfortunately didn't fit. I normally wear a 7-7.5 wide or extra wide. First ordered size 37 (7-7.5) and they were nice and wide but too long. Exchanged them for size 36 (6-6.5) and they're too short. With the removal insole in place they have a shallow toe box but without insole, too hard. Too bad!

Super support! I have fused big toe joints from severe arthritis and needed a shoe that would offer support. These were recommended by a fellow foot-pain sufferer. I like this design better than some of the other Mary Janes. Super cute sandals. One note: I have a narrow foot. The strap across the top of the foot is very short. It might be a problem with wider feet.

I had hunted for shoes that were comfortable, yet stylish and found them at Zappos. When my shoes came they were perfect in fit and style. One of the most comfortable pair of shoes I now own. Zappos delivered in quicker time than I had thought. Love Zappos and when in need, I'll go back to Zappos. I have already told all my friends about these shoes and where I had gotten them.

This is honestly the best shoe I have ever ordered from Zappos. I have very wide, smallish feet. I usually wear a kids 3 or 4, sometimes a women's 5, depending on the brand, but shoes are almost never wide enough. I purchased these in the 5 wide, and they are perfect. I don't think I've ever had a shoe come out of the box looking this cute, feeling this comfortable, and fitting this well, ever. (I usually have to stretch them for width.) I've been a loyal zappos customer since they first started out, and after years of waiting, I'm so glad they've finally started carrying wide shoes that don't look like something my great grandma would wear to a funeral. I have more Alegria shoes on the way, and I only hope these come back in stock in almond. Quite a bit more expensive than the shoes I usually buy, but so worth it. Also, the sole is surprisingly nice. I usually wear flats, and thought these would be hard to walk in, but they actually allow a nice gait. Would definitely recommend.

This is my first Alegra shoe. When I first tried them on I thought they looked a big "clumsey", but they are so comfortable I can't take them off. The best arch support which is a must for me. Guess I'll be keeping them!! I'd love to have the green ones too, but I don't have many clothes that would go with green. Definitely a great casual shoe for comfort.

I have painful problematic feet, and resigned myself to wearing unattractive boxy shoes that were not all that comfortable. With a wedding coming up, I needed a more suitable shoe to wear with a dress. The day after I noticed a doctor wearing Paloma, my rabbi also showed up in Palomas. She told me about Alegria, and Zappos.com. When I went online, the Pesca was the only style in my size. In a leap of faith, I ordered a pair. Am I glad I did! They fit well, don't gap, and look good on my foot. My podiatrist approves -- and they are almost comfortable. I can walk longer, do multiple errands in one day, and spend less time recuperating from the additional activity. I still have painful problematic feet, but Alegria Pesca alleviates much of the problem, and most of the pain. I would buy these again and I already did.

I needed to find a shoe with a really good arch support. This is a good shoe. Lots of space across the toes, which I need. If you have narrow feet, these shoes might not work for you. I am on my feet at work all day and so far they are great. I would buy more shoes from this company.

This is a fabulous shoe. I love it so much that I bought two pairs for when the other wears out (in 20 years) as the model will surely change by then. It is very comfortable, looks cool, and has good arch support. Easy on and off with velcro strap. I bought a 'wide' because need extra toe room. I probably could have done ok with a medium as it is very roomy. Walk on air. Walk Alegria Pesca!

These shoes are so klunky and ugly that they're adorable. And they're comfortable and, at the same time, supply excellent support. They're cute with jeans, slacks and/or skirts. I think they're A++ all around -- unless you're into very dainty shoes. If so, don't tread here!

The Alegria Pesca shoe is fantastic! I have very flat feet and unable to wear an open sandal. This is the closest to any sandal. It is so cute and so comfortable right out of the box. I never knew such a shoe existed, but I am very grateful to have found it. I hope to buy it in the black style soon. Again, thank you Zappos!

I just got a pair of Pesca's and they are fabulous! Very comfy and WAY cute! They will great to show off my handknit socks!

I was so glad when Zappos notified me that this color came back in. I have been looking for a supportive shoe that works for summer/fall. The cognac color goes well with many colors. I plan to use this for work as well as play. I was glad to see that there is some extra give in the top strap because I have an orthotic that causes a higher instep on one foot. Thanks!

As with other closed-heel shoes by Alegria, this shoe tends to run a half to a full size too large. I love Alegria shoes, so will adjust accordingly on future orders. Alegria shoes offer the comfort and support my aging feet crave. I have received numerous favorable comments on this shoe, and look forward to wearing it until the snow flies.

These shoes were keepers for me. I have a big foot and sometimes need a WW. These shoes in the W were perfect for me. The insoles are really thick; the shoe is quite comfy. I love that I can probably wear it through 3 seasons in the midwest. They are blocky looking, but I think quite attractive for such a comfortable shoe. I would like to say thank you to all you people out there who write reviews. It is always a big help to me in my decision making.
