I am a mud logger in West Texas, and I work on oil rigs. These boots are worth every penny- rain or shine, hot or cold, in water-based muds or oil muds, on the floor or the mud pits my feet don't slip or slide, they stay dry and comfortable. I always feel the support. I wouldn't trade these puppies for rabies shots for my dog, a hat rack for the Chevy and a free night on vacation (make it a week and we'll talk about it)!

Very comfortable, I work 12 hour shifts, my feet never get tired. Best thing is your feet don't overheat.

These boots are wonderful. They have many applications because it can be used both for rough work or activities requiring Protective foot (climbing, mountaineering, hiking, etc.). And can also be used in town. Combine practically with all its double color (which prevails in black). They are stylish, robust, durable and with superior quality. All I can compare with my other boots I use, and I assure you that the quality is less than the boots such as: Jeep, John Deere or Corcoran. I recommend them both if you want to rough or casual activities.

I was struggling to find a work boot that came wide and in size 13 with steel toes. The best part about buying from zappos is you can buy a few different pairs of shoes and send back the pairs you don't want. I have really flat/wide feet so buying shoes has always been hard till I started using zappos. I ordered 3 pairs of boots and this pair was the most comfortable and I liked the 8 inch shaft which does help with ankle support. I ordered a size bigger then street shoes which was a good and it did take a few days to break them in.

I bought these for a week long work trip in southern Louisiana. I have a desk job normally and was looking for something comfortable, that would hold up and provide good support for my foot and ankle. These met the bill, they were not too hot, they fit well and the broke in fast.

First, I must say Zappos has the best overall service, extremely helpful and accomodating customer service reps and efficient delivery and return policy. These steel toe boots look and feel great. They are light sturdy and comfortable all at once. The best work boots I ever bought. Unfortunately, I'm extremely hard on my shoes and I only hope they last longer than the last ones.

I think this is my 15th pair. I love these boots.
