Super comfortable boots that look great, but to be advertised as a shoe for the oil and gas industry is a joke. The boots don't stand up to chemicals found on site. My boots lasted maybe 6 months before the sole separated from the leather as well as itself. I would steer clear of these boots if you do any work around chemicals.

I bought these boots because I need to depend on my footwear to get the job done. I run heavy machinery and I'm in and out of the hole countless times an hour. The tread started falling apart after one month within a week I had a hole through the rubber. At the price I paid I expect a little more quality but not with these....save your money

Purchased 3 months ago and already leaking water and sole separating. I've have Red Wings that are 2 years old and in better shape. Will not purchase Timberland again.

After leaving Timberland Pro after 5 years of excellent boots, due to consistent sole problems with my usual choice, I returned to see if there had been any improvement. This time I went with the Rigmaster due to its sole construction. I have waited to review for about 2 months of daily wear on the steel decks of tank barges. These boots are just plain uncomfortable. I'm on my feet up to 18 hours a day so comfort is number 1. These boots have little cushioning in the insole, unlike the other boots I wore. They also pinch at the ball of the foot. I am extremely disappointed in this boot in particular and in Timberland in general, which is a shame because I used to rely on them as my only boot. No more. Timberland has lost another customer. Don't buy it. If I could rate it lower I would.

The boot is marketed as a tough work boot. It is anything but. I purchased one pair. The sole was ripping away from the mid sole in 2 months. A replacement pair was sent to me after I brought this up. That pair lasted 4 months before the sole had a crack running the entire width of the boot, exposing the underside of the mid sole. I wore these boots daily, on concrete and dirt only, at no point abusing them. Ridiculously poor quality in these shoes. The sad part is I actually liked the rest of the shoe.

Six month review. I work as an automotive technician, and stand on concrete all day It gets oily / greasy from time to time. So, it was time for a new pair of boots. I finally wore out the toe on my beloved Cabelas S.A.W. boots after 2 1/2 years. Overall the Cabelas boots were still in decent shape other than the steel toe showing through on one boot. I did some research and found these Rigmasters by Timberland. My thoughts were "perfect". I have found a boot that has a toughened toe, and with a name like Rigmaster surely they will be superb no-slip boots. WRONG ! Working in the shop is like ice skating. I believe the need to be rebranded as SOME SLIP. Now I have completely worn a hole in the right insole at the ball of my foot, and the left isn't far behind. At 175 pounds I feel like overall this boot has been a let down. Never in my many years of purchasing high quality boots has this ever happened. So if you're looking for a good boot this is NOT the one for you.

Boot was comfortable but the sole split after about one year of weekend only use. Very disappointed that it didn't last longer. I will try a different brand next.
