If you're looking for great boots, get these! Feels like your not even wearing boots, but still get the protection you want and need. Steel toe but doesn't feel like a steel toe. I work on rocks all day, feels like I'm walking in grass. Stop looking, get these!

Following up one month later now, and I like these boots even better than at first! They break in fast - hardly any break-in at all, really - are very supportive during fast walking, uphill, jumping, and provide excellent foot, ankle and leg support ! I use them for weekend chores, including many heavy work duties such as lengthy riding mowing, chain sawing, garage chores and walking around my hilly neighborhood, so not "professionally," but am very grateful to the oilfield workers who gave them excellent reviews, with which I agree 100% ! I really like having safety boots on because I sometimes bump into things I didn't plan on, and can use tips of my boots at times to lift heavy items. And I am a rather critical consumer - trying to be fair and constructively so; I really don't think you can find a better, safer, more comfortable boot for the price. And, when clean, they look really sharp. I even wear them with slacks to church. One more thought for you: we all hope never to be in a life threatening confrontation, but if some bad actor ever comes after me, these composite safety toes will greatly magnify any needed self defense foot strikes - another reason to always wear safety footwear when you are out these days! Truly hope and pray none of us ever need that feature, but if you do, sure hope you are wearing it...think about it!

TimberlandPro 8 inch Ringmaster is truly an outstanding boot! With my original order of various 6 inch safety boots, I included just this one 8 inch boot, just because. I had worn a pair of high back steel toe safety boots during summer construction job 45 years ago. I sure am glad that I added these to my order, as an after thought, really. These are amazingly comfortable with the anti-fatigue feature and super comfortable up around the leg and all the new boot features are amazing compared to regular old safety toe boots down at the store. I am so impressed with these tough-as-nails Ringmasters that I ordered several other Timberland 8 inch safety boots, and really like the quality of the Helix and the McClelland desert boots also! If you do not already know how great the anti-fatigue support system these three models all have under the balls and heels of your feet truly is, step right up to the order page and get some to jump right into right away! Then wear them around the house, on all available surfaces, running, jumping, climbing, hustling on the treadmill, and I will be surprised if you do not find them to be some of the most comfortable boots ever to envelope your paws! Seriously, my feet find them that good - now it is time for me to give them the 30 day trial by fire on all kind of outside surfaces, with Timberland's free one month return policy standing by in case they do not perform as strong as their first impression. And, no, nobody is paying me to write this, I am just sharing how it happened to me. And I will update towards the end of this month's experience. Meanwhile, try yourself a pair and let the rest of us know how they work out for you. Enjoy!

What a great boot, the mesh lining keeps your feet cool in the summer! No break in period. I wear these even when its not required on sites or where I have to walk a lot. Great job Timberland!

Awesome Awesome Awesome!! I've had two pair. On my feet all day. First pair lasted me almost a year. The exterior did not wear out. I wore out the structure stability.

I use these boots for work like cutting trees and landscaping. The boots are comfortable and easy to take off and put on. They are also easy to clean and maintain. I would recommend these boots for people who work outdoors.

These were delivered right around two months ago, and it probably took half that to break them in might be a sizing issue. Right at the ball of my foot feels cramped, and the steel toe digs into my small toe. Feel like my foot just isn't resting correctly in the one boot. Other than that, they wear comfortable most of the day now and have definitely kept in decent condition

Iv bought about 10 pairs of these boots over the years. Working 7-12s in the Industrial field these boots hold up and last me about 2yrs. My only issue Iv had is the side stitching splits in the same spot every time. I still recommend these boots to all my coworkers!

After 2 1/2 years of constant wear they have finally lost a stitch and need replaced. I could have them restitched but at this price why. Shopping around but may go with these again as they've stood up to the mining environment very well.

This boot is great except two things: my feet still sweat and the right foot boot rubs on my toes where the inside fabric covers the edge of the steel toe. Other wise they have good traction and are great for stomping around in any kind of work.

Very comfortable once you break them in. The only complaint is that the tread wears out too fast, within six months I was down to the second layer. This happened with both pairs so, I guess its just the materials that are used. If you don't use them on concrete, these would be terrific. Again, very comfortable and good support, but the soles do not hold up to working on concrete and steel grating.

The break in time for the boots was unbearable. They hurt so bad for about a month, which is not totally unexpected for a new boot, so I dealt with it. There are other brands that I have bought over the last, maybe 30 years, that have no break in time. I work outside all night, in all weather, all seasons in the Midwest, so I am no stranger to extreme weather of almost all sorts. Hot, cold, rain, snow, hail, tornados, etc. As far as the waterproofing goes, this shoe was wonderful for about 1 year. Then it wasn't. It leaked like a sieve at the first snowfall of the following season. My number one criteria in a shoe is waterproofing. I tried to work around these setbacks and give Timberland another try. I bought 2 more pairs of a different model boot. The first one, the outcome was exactly the same as this. The second was complete garbage, failing on the first rain it ever saw. I will never but another pair of Timberland Pro's ever again.

This is hands down most comfortable boot I've own and I've wore both the one with met and one with out met guard, these are advertised for oil field work but there more for factory work there a very soft rubber sole boot that splits easy pluse these have no welt stitch and there just made cheaply not worth the 200 these are more a 100 to 150 price range boot. If you want a comfortable boot is only real thing they have going for them but way overpriced and I'm looking else wear timberland quality just isn't there

they do not breathe, my feet are always overheating, I normally put 1 extra insert in my shoes but with these 2 isn't enough and I don't think I could go a size smaller and have toe room, but they are holding together realy well

Ran too narrow to be comfortable and had to return. Not the most stylish boot either. Great customer service from Zappos.

The boots are terrific but the tread doesn't last. I've owned about 15-20 pairs of these and every single one has had the tread come apart in less than 6 months of wear. Some have failed in a few weeks of use.

My husband is the least picky person I know. So if he says the boots are not that good, well then...The length was good, no energy return, no cushion just heavy clunky boots.

Had one pair that lasted about a year of constant abuse, the leather on the toe started to fall apart after getting soaked in diesel on a nightly basis. Bought another pair 6 months ago when I started a new job and the sole basically fell apart, there's bubbles in the rubber from poor manufacturing. Had high hopes for this pair.

I purchased two pairs of these boots. Both had the same result. They came apart at the seams where the leather meets the "Composite/Rubber" toe. They are comfortable but for the money, they don't last. The best boot, imo, Timberland ever made was the Rigmaster model 95570. It appears that some Bean Counting individual who doesn't actually wear boots for a living decided the boots weren't making the company enough money or whatever their reason was, they discontinued them. Those boots lasted a long time, were extremely comfortable and were a nice, stylish boot. Yet they continue to make this model which, after reading a lot of the reviews, continues to fall apart. Go figure?

Sole separated from the boot after a week or so of normal wear for construction. Reached out to customer service to see if they would honor their 12 month warranty and they did not. Their "quality control team" determined the problem I experienced occurred as result of a satisfactory amount of wear. Boots didn't even make it a month. What a joke. Must have been designed for an office job and not outside work if that's the case. Don't waste your money on these.
