After 5 years of use, they finally gave up and I have to purchase a new pair. After canoeing tripping for 30 years, they are the best shoe ever. Great support for portageing, then just walk into the water load the canoe and and go. I wear fleece socks (acron) in cold water with the shoes. overall .good grip in water and trails.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I found them to be light and comfortable. I use them for walking and going to the pool/beach.

Had a previous pair that lasted over 5 years. Just used around water even when hiking Very comfortable. Very go stability. No slippage. Rubber glued lose areas to use around lake area when dog needs swim(Golden Retriever)

relatively good traction for light walking in muddy slopes, caves, terrain. can also be worn in the beach or mangrove area. you should be careful though with the clip on the shoelace, can be broken easily and are irreplaceable. this shoe should also be available elsewhere in the world (like Southeast Asia). had to buy ours in the US because they aren't available here anymore

One awesome pair of shoes. By the look of it, the first impressions would be that its a flimsy looking pair, But one would never believe if I'd say that, I did a 'Chadar Trek' on this 3 year old pair of mine for a good 12 days. At -20C these shoes have an excellent grip on ice and snow clad surfaces. It has also taken abuse of getting soaked in ice water as well, the beauty is that it would also dry quickly because of its mesh system. If it were any other sport shoe, it would have remained wet from inside and one would end up with a frost bite. Highly recommended pair for daily casual wear & places where you would want to get your feet soaked with a smile.

I bought a pair of these in Germany in 2007 and can safely say they are the best shoes i've ever bought. A frequent traveller these are brilliant on flights as they slip on/off , can be worn like a slipper plus are casual but also smart looking.

I don't think I'll ever buy any other but the TechAmphi 3. I just hope it stays in production. My original was light grey but I had to settle with blue since my preferred color was not available. Great pair of shoes, very comfortable with flexible use. Used it for biking the Camino Santiago de Compostella with total comfort and variety of uses, as slippers, crossing creeks, moderate hiking and 515 miles of biking in 14 days. Highly recommended.

Ho comprato queste scarpe casualmente, cercavo un buon prodotto per i luoghi caldi e confortevoli. Sono estremamente soddisfatto comode, leggere il piede respira.

I have had 3 pairs of these shoes over the course of 8 years. My first pair lasted 3 years of insane abuse(in and out of water, rough terrain, rock climbing, dirt surfing down hills, tons of obstacles, stuff...). I vent through a pair of vibram five fingers in 60 days, vibram soles boots about the same. I have destroyed many many shoes and articles of clothing with the sheer brutality of my physical actions....but these shoes are meant for real use...not just walking on trails or wading in rivers. The only thing I have ever felt negative in regards to these shoes is that, if I am not wearing them and I go for a random hike, I feel so constricted by my regular shoes that I end up griping to myself the whole time for forgetting them, so I just bought my third pair. My second ones are still in action, but unneeded backups. You will appreciate the grip, you will appreciate the snugness of the adjustable heal, you will appreciate the feeling of freedom when wearing these without socks, you will appreciate the durability your feet still have in rugged terrain, you will appreciate the longevity obtained through durable materials. I bought a pair for my wildland fire fighting friend because I believe in these shoes. I had never heard of salomon before discovery these shoes, but now I would truly recommend these to anyone talk about shoes with and I started to notice how many Olympic athletes and trainers actually wear salomon

Purchased last spring for Kayak angling, Amazing shoe, Dries quickly, chews up slippery rocks, great support and shoe looks great with anything you wear. TECH-AMPHIBIAN 3 is winner!

This is an excellent summer travel , water, chill shoe. Not a big sandal fan , these do the job to protect the toes while giving you the breathability and flexibility to get wet! Perfect....

My third pair of amphibians. In the muggy hot summer, getting in that hot car, the mesh breathability is my reason. Also the non electric light show color scheme. Hard to find these days! In fact, that's why I keep buying a men's model even though I'm a women person! Was an 8 before, got 8.5 this time.
