Like all shoe manufacturers, they won't leave well enough alone. I had their previous version of these for many years and preferred the styling and the fit. But Salomon had to go and change things. Their new version has colors I really dislike, so I at least found last year's at Zappos. Not as comfortable or good a fit as the previous ones I own (which are finally getting worn out), and I don't like the look as much, but far better than the new ones.
Kudos to Zappos for having these available.
That said, I wear my originals all the time... most comfortable shoes I ever owned. Have hiked through sand, in oceans and rivers, hills, Disneyland, trade shows, on Sea Doos... these are my go-to shoes for anything where I want comfort and excellent ventilation-- or the ability for water to flow through while protecting my feet and offering good support. I love them. I expect the new ones to perform as well.

Me las compr para ir de viaje a frica, dnde tenia que llover y encontrar caminos de todo tipo. Han cumplido su funcin! Se secan rpido, son cmodas (con y sin calcetn) y estoy encantada. Tambin las he utilitzado para caminar por la montaa y tienen buen agarre y confortabilidad aun siendo modelo masculino.

Me las compr? para ir de viaje a ?frica, d?nde tenia que llover y encontrar caminos de todo tipo. Han cumplido su funci?n! Se secan r?pido, son c?modas (con y sin calcet?n) y estoy encantada. Tambi?n las he utilitzado para caminar por la monta?a y tienen buen agarre y confortabilidad aun siendo modelo masculino.

I've had three pairs of these shoes over the years and hope they keep making them! My only observation is that the rear heal strap on my last pair did not seem to hold tension as well as my first two pairs. Not sure if this was due to any slight product changes, but even so it would not deter me from purchasing in the future.

I used these generally in summer and light hiking, walking creeks and really enjoyed them at Zion Park Utah. I wore them out and trying to find the same shoes. Best shoes like I have ever had. Sturdy, Comfortable, but the best in breathable! , nice design to boot. Also, my feet are size D so these are perfect.

This is the second pair of this exact shoe - my husband bought the first many years ago and it has lasted like iron and is perfect for his needs. We have searched many stores for the shoe and Zappos is the only place we found to have it in the size he needs.

Zapatilla polivalente para el verano. Ideal para mantener los pies frescos y ventilados. Mltiples usos monte, playa, viajes, incluso en ciudad. Son muy cmodas y prcticas sobre todo sin calcetines. Las uso desde hace muchos aos, desde su primera versin, las de este ao son el cuarto par que tengo. Por poner alguna falta, el sistema de cierre se rompe con el tiempo y la tira lateral se afloja algo pero es muy cmodo volver a apretarla. En todo caso solo pasa cuando su vida til va terminando. Recomendado.

After 5 years of use, they finally gave up and I have to purchase a new pair. After canoeing tripping for 30 years, they are the best shoe ever. Great support for portageing, then just walk into the water load the canoe and and go. I wear fleece socks (acron) in cold water with the shoes.
