I bought these last year and have taken them on a good deal of different trips. The hold up well, and have much better traction than any other water shoe I've owned (keen, teva, vibram....). They are also lightweight, but madly comfortable, as the material is not cheap and stiff.
The main complaint I have pertains to the mesh on the side. I was on the beautiful beaches of Oregon recently, and I noticed that small pieces of sea shells and pebbles got through, but could not get out. Additionally, these shoes do not drain the water as well as others.
Overall they are the best water shoe I've found, but like most good products, there is room for improvement.

This product gives great flexibility whether you are walking in a hot climate or are in and out of water. The collapsible heal part means these are easy to slip on and off and use as sliders or flip it up and have a comfortable walking sandal.

Direi ottima se non fosse per qualche cucitura che, a piede nudo, causa infiammazione. Essendo comoda perch anfibia, questo un limite.

I chose this shoe for boat/lake use much more than extended walks or hiking purposes. Overall they serve my purpose well; being very light and every bit as cool as sandals with much less coverage and protection. They have excellent grip on slippery boat ramps/docks and they dry pretty quickly. Having said that I rate them at four stars due to running at least a half size large (for me). They also have a slight issue at the base of the heel just not being as comfortable as they should. If I did hike in them, this would surely be a larger issue. Lastly (and this is just a personal preference) when I am wearing them I cannot help but wish the colors were muted as they are just too bright for my taste. I have worn Salomon boots for work and play for many years. The quality, fit and finish I have come to expect from the brand are not lost on these shoes.

I have had these for about a month now. I have worn these on day trips and extended camping trips. They drain quickly and are reasonably comfortable. I would add a pair of light socks for extended walking to prevent blisters. I find they are a little difficult to get into at the heel, but they do offer a snug comfortable fit.

I took these trekking through a jungle in Thailand and on some beaches there as well. All around very good shoe! One improvement they could add is fast dry time. They did take a day or more to dry. But they were well designed and had good grip on most surfaces. There were some slippery rocks, but most anything wouldn't have gotten traction on them. If you ware wearing them for an extended period try to wear socks. I didn't like "sandal" mode all that much. All in all great water shoes that gets the job done.

Lieben Gru?

Great idea, and I was really excited to get them and test them out. Fit seemed decent, but after using them for a few days I discovered 2 things - there were internal pressure/abrasion points that would wear through skin over the course of a couple hours moving in them, and my feet smelled pretty funny after spending an afternoon in them. Hope to see a redesign down the road that addresses these issues.

Great at first but after a lot of use including walking through water, now they have an audible squeaking noise and the material became little more stiff. I'm hesitant to wash them because they just don't seem washable. Very durable and still look fairly new. However I would never pay what I paid for them new and I see stores are realizing that and cutting prices in half or more. It's a good show but they wear out quick. Comfort wise, nothing to brag about. These are not meant for comfort. They hold up well to the elements but that's it.

What's good about these water shoes is the protection they provide to toes and heels, all with a respectable amount of arch support. What's bad are two things: These will usually be worn without socks, and there are seams and edges inside the shoe that scrape my small toes badly enough to cause blisters ... thus I can only wear them with Moleskin pads, or with neoprene socks. But if worn with socks, you might need another half-size larger. After discovering this problem, I ordered a second pair a half-size larger to see whether that would relieve the blistering. It really only shifts the location of the irritation, plus now the larger size slips at the heel. The second pair will be returned. The other problem: Even though these are advertised as containing an antibacterial coating, my shoes developed an intense, unpleasant odor of Parmesan cheese. This appeared after being worn twice, in a freshwater stream. Ordinary laundering does not eliminate the odor, which returns full strength after a short time. I have just put them through a wash cycle containing bleach, and they are drying in the California sun now ... though I still detect a trace of cheese odor. These may have been rendered unwearable.

Unlike my last pair 3 pairs of Salomon's with this type of closure system, the cord on this model has chaffed quite a bit after only a few uses. The closure/locking device seems a bit rough. Just like my last pair, I had to take this to a dry cleaner that does stitching on the side. The plastic heel device doesn't HOLD, and needs to be SEWN into place. Upper areas behind both you big and little toes needs to be broken on - this seems to be more a style shoe, which was otherwise fine with me (aside from other hazards mentioned.) I love wearing these extremely breathable sneaks with a pair of low-cut black socks. You can't tell it's a water shoe!
