I've had one pair of salomon shoes for at least 8 years, still going and comfortable. wanted a 2nd pair for in the house. I spend alot of time on my feet. These were not the ones. No cushion, hard, uncomfortable.

I have worn my pair for two summers now, and the shoelaces are a problem. This spring, one of the shoelaces broke while I was hiking. You have to buy Salomon's replacement laces - they were no big deal. But they were incredibly difficult to replace. It took me and my husband two hours together to replace the laces on both shoes. Now one of the new laces is frayed and about to break. I'm buying a pair of Merells rather than go through this repeatedly. Never again, Salomon!
