They're a total winner! I bought these shoes for heavy duty pool exercise classes and they don't disappoint. Regular wimpy water shoes weren't going to cut it but these are perfect. I can tighten down the lacing and the adjustable heel to get them exactly how I want them. They don't slip or loosen up even after an hour of walking hard against the current in the lazy river. They are oversized and I should have ordered at least a half size smaller but I can tighten these up to compensate and they're fine. I wear them sockless (obviously) and there has been no scratching or rubbing on my bare feet. My one complaint is they're ugly. Mainly it's because the laces go so far down into the toes that my feet look kid sized and the stitched trim is nonsensical. But, they're in the pool and no one can see them 90% of the time I have them on. They drain quickly after being in the pool and in 15 min I can drive home with them on but they take overnight to fully dry. I've recommended them to pool classmates and would buy these again.

Based on other reviews, I initially ordered these a half size smaller than I usually wear. I had to return them and get my usual size. So far, these are comfortable without socks. I like how adjustable they are. I'll see how they hold up hiking in a few weeks and update.

I've have this shoe in orange for years. It fits and wears like iron. Washing is easy and so is using any orthotics you might need. I'd say it's wide and the 9 1/2 I usually wear is...generous. But the little belt in the back customizes it. I have 8 pair of Salomon's. Every style always draws comments. I love them.

These shoes were perfect for all the outdoor adventures of Costa Rica. Whitewater rafting, rappelling, hiking. Super comfortable and stable. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable shoe. I have another pair of Salomon's and wanted a different color. These are perfect. I have a narrow foot - mostly order narrow/2A shoes, but these are adjustable and I can get them tight enough.

Great water shoes. I used them for a river rafting trip which also included hiking. The shoes worked great for both and, unlike others, I did not have to switch back and forth between water and "land" shoes to go on those hikes.

This is my third pair - I have worn them around the world literally! They are light weight for traveling, heel folds down for a sandal when feet need a rest, great slip on off at airports! Please make more colors! And thank you Zappos!

3rd pair of Techamphibians. Worn them all over the world. So versatile. Great for air travel with heel folding down.

I personally love these. I had another similar pair last year but they got ruined in a flood. Otherwise they hold up well and nice since you can adjust them. Good traction. I get at least half a size smaller though as they seem to run on the large size. They are also comfy with or without socks.

This is a terrific shoe; comfortable but stabilizing as well. It breaths and is good looking too. It fits far better than the REALLY expensive MBTs I purchased last year. I truly recommend this shoe and I have problem feet!

I wanted to love this shoe, and I do, but it's so big that I can't wear it. In a Nike running shoe I wear a 6 or even 6 1/2, and other Salomon's I've owned I wear a size 5. I got a size 5 but because they're a sockless shoe, I'm swimming in them. I like that it's got a real sole to it, some cushioning, and the support is moderately good but alas, it must go back.

Overall great shoe. Very lightweight yet sturdy enough for hiking. Ordered my usual size 8 and had to return for a 7.5 and are still a bit long. The adjustable heel strap allows for a nice custom fit, but does loosen a bit while walking. Love the color and style of this shoe. They have quickly become my go to summer hiking shoe.

Love these shoes. They are very versatile and make great shoes for vacationing and cruising. They are pretty comfortable but wearing the heel down can rub a bit as one might expect.

BEST SHOE EVER! Honestly could not live without my Techamphibians. I wear them hiking, for travel (they weigh NOTHING!), for water sports (great for kayaking and then hiking around), and whenever I want happy feet. So glad they are following up from the Techamphibians I & II with this new shoe. One piece of advise for Solomon: please do more color options again! :)

I've been looking for shoes to wear on raft trips and I believe these will work well. I went down a half size to a 10 from my usual 10.5 N in Brooks running shoes and Lowa hiking boots. (The 9.5 felt okay until I tightened the heel strap.) Some flaw in the stitching was rubbing the inside right ankle, so I re-ordered, and the replacement pair seems to be fine. Not the greatest arch support but better than other water shoes I tried.

These shoes were great! I have worn them with and without socks and they were very comfortable. No complaints so far!

Great traction and fit! Perfect for canoe camping and portaging when we are in and out of the water and on rocky and muddy trails. Dried very quickly and no smell! At first the middle straps seemed tight and uncomfortable, but quickly broke in and are not noticeable. The laces are not my favorite and they do loosen up, but minimal issue in such a great shoe.

I bought these shoes to hike in the mountains. They are great. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. And they were light weight. On top of that, the price was good. And in the end the customer service person I spoke to went beyond expectations to get them to me in time for me to leave for vacation. Thanks Zappos.

The toe box was good, though the heel slipped up and down with every step. The arch support was nil.
