Really liked the shoe, but, there is a strap on the inner instep that is very hard and rigid.

I got these for a pool walking class and they'll do the job well. The tongue comes far up my instep and the back is also tall, a little further than I'm usually comfortable with but they're otherwise a good fit so I'm keeping them. The standard Solomon lace lock is sweet and there's a teeny stretch pouch to put the lace end in, which is a nice touch. The toe box is wide, which I prefer. The sliding buckle on the heel is in an awkward place to adjust when I have the shoes on but I can work around it. The only annoying style feature is that the laces go so far down to the toe that there's hardly any bumper and it makes my feet look kiddie size. No one will care when I'm in the pool!

I have tons of foot problems and this is an ideal shoe for me; it's comfortable and reasonably fashionable - though not colorful - but I am grateful that I can wear these. I just wish they ran in more normal sizes - I normally wear an 8 - 8.5.

Tried this first in an 8, my usual size for athletic shoes, but they were too large. Tried a 7.5 but they were too narrow for my just slightly wide foot. Not the shoe for me, unfortunately!

Runs larger than actual sizing, the lace seems thin, not too sure how long it will last. Some of the seams above the toe area seem like they will rub. Need to return and order a 1/2 size smaller!

This is a great summer everyday shoe tor me. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 overall and in comfort is the Techamphibian 3 doesn't come in a narrow size. I am glad, though, of the adjustable strap at the heel which makes the fit better. I have two pairs and really enjoy wearing both colors. The sand color goes with everything I wear.

Love the looks and they felt pretty comfortable, but I could not get the quick lace to work properly. I'm an older woman and may not have the strength, but the button would not slide easily. Since I'll have to get in and out of these quickly on a wet/dry trip, they just won't work. I have not noticed others complaining about this, so it may be just me or this pair. I even watched 3 videos.

I wanted to like these but, note to the manufacturer, this type of shoe is typically worn without socks and so should be comfortable on against a person's foot - it's not.

These shoes are cute, lightweight and true to size. However, the insides felt rough on the side and heel of the shoe. I don't want to break them in, I want comfort from the start. I am returning them.

I bought these shoes for walking on muddy rocky trails. They run really big, there isn't any arch support and they rub one of my little toes. They are okay but not as comfortable as the other reviewers say they are. I changed the foot beds and they felt better but still not as comfortable as any of my Keen's!

I wanted to love these shoes - but the tongue comes out so far, and it's stiff, that it rubbed against the front my lower leg. Seems like it would be really irritating.

I love this shoe except fr the fact there is a ankle strap near the outside back of the shoe to tighten the back section. The problem is I tighten it and before too long it has slid loose and needs to be tightened again. So walking around Italy in these were great, with or without socks. But having to stop and tightened every couple blocks drove me crazy and I ended up just wearing my Keens at that point.

I was looking for a shoe for trails and rocky rivers. This one appealed to me based on another reviewer's experience. Unfortunately, when I tried them on, I could feel all the seams and couldn't bear to keep them on for more that 15-20 minutes around the house - I can't imagine going out on the trail. I would imagine if you wore them with socks that would be different, but I would like to wear them without - since I'd be going in and out of/walking a riverbed. I am returning these and will make a trip to my local sporting good store to try on various brands before reordering.

Really wanted to like these -- but found the work around the outside of the shoe to be a little rough and scratchy. Felt seams, and suspected rubbing would happen.
