Cute but so wide across top of toe I felt like I had duck feet. And looked like it too. I wear a 7 and a half so I don't have large feet, but they looked like I was wearing size 13 shoes. Not very flattering.

OK, these shoes are adorable, which is obviously what attracted me to them in the first place. Once I tried them on at a local store, I was hooked. The only complaint about sizing is that once you wear them for half a work day, and your feet are hot from walking around, they get a bit uncomfortably snug, but overall fit great. These do feel like more of a heel though, being 3 inches. Definitely a little out of my comfort zone compared to regular Dansko's. But... does anyone else have problems with these shoes quacking?! When I walk (on hardwood mostly) the heel quacks so loud it literally sounds like there is a duck on my feet. It's not a slight squeak like the regular Danskos, that I can deal with. This is a full on LOUD duck quack. Draws attention and laughs in my quiet office and honestly prevents me from wearing them as much as I'd like. It must be a result of the heel suctioning funny on the floor, but I'm not really sure what to do about it. Thinking about returning them because that quack is just unbearable.

Very disappointed in Dansko with the Thea. Cute as heck but big no no in comfort. It was not the width. That was fine but I did go up size from my normal 41's to 42. I can tell you that I have been wearing this brand for years. This heel is made out of plastic. Not a shock absorbing wear all day kind of shoe. Hard plastic heel. If it were wood - maybe it would be tolerable.

I was looking for a closed toe comfort sandal for work. The shoe size 36 is supposed to fit sizes 5.5 - 6; I wear a size 5.5; unfortunately, the shoe did not fit. The shoe arch did not properly align with my foot.

Super cute but the band across the top of my foot was much too tight. I didn't stretch them out as other reviewers have suggested. Part of me wishes I'd have read those reviews before I sent them back. However, that's a lot of work to make comfort shoes comfortable. I will try again with another style.

The reviews about these shoes running small/narrow are totally true. I ordered these first in a 38, then in a 39. The 38 were very narrow which affected the overall fit, the 39 fit better width wise but were overall too long. Sad face because they're really cute.

These are gorgeous shoes, perfect to pair with spring and summer styles. Unfortunately, they are very very narrow. I have three other pairs of Dansko clogs and sandals and all of them fit me perfectly. I really wanted to keep the purple pair that I ordered but these shoes cut into my feet and I could barely slide my foot all the way into the toe box. They are very cute, but unless you have narrow feet these may not fit comfortably.

I wanted these to work. They're so beautiful and well-made. The "jade" is more of a Robin egg blue. Gorgeous! Unfortunately, they were way too narrow.

My 23-year-old daughter adores this shoe and has walked miles in it. But I, with flat feet, found it didn't have enough support. Sadly, I am returning.

These are far too narrow. Wish Dansko offered them in different widths. Had to send them back. :(

I love Danskos and own many, many pair of clogs, sandals, shoes and even books. But these shoes were neither as comfortable or as cute as I expected. The cut of the toe area hit my foot at an comfortable spot and the upper strap was too wide and tight for comfort. I also felt like it ran just a smidge narrower than other Dansko footwear. As to style, the shoe looked a little too "MaryJane" like for my taste.

Gorgeous looking. However, even if I was able to stretch them wide enough to fit my feet, there would still be two problems: They are surprisingly heavy shoes, and the sole is completely inflexible, like wood. So I clunk around in them, which makes me self-conscious and not at all comfortable. Granted, I don't normally wear 3" heels anyway, but if Dansko was able to come out with a style like this that was lightweight and flexible, I'd buy 'em in a heartbeat.

Should have sent them back! Unlike the comfort I have come to associate with Dansko, these shoes have become the bane of my existence. Initially, I just thought that the reason the heel strap and the front strap across the top of the foot were so tight was because they were new. I really wanted that to be the reason that I could not get my foot to slide down. Unfortunately, nothing can be done to make this shoe more comfortable. While this won't be my last Dansko purchase, I will definitely be more cautious when reading all of the reviews. Best advice, purchase this shoe at least a half size larger and if you have wide feet this is not the shoe for you. Dansko will continue to be one of my "go to brands" while knowing that ever style may not work for me.

Bummed. Absolutely loved the shoe. Too tight in the front of the shoe. Not a typical Dansko fit.

Maybe I don't "get" clogs? I wanted to love these, I really did, but as soon as I put them on and started walking around, I felt like a horse. Clomp, clomp, clomp. The shoes were inflexible and I felt very clumsy in them, I couldn't wait to take them off. I have another, older pair of Danskos with a flexible heel that I love, but alas, these were not to be, for me.

Sadly I had to return these shoes! I ordered them in the 8½ and they were super snug. Then sent them back and reordered in a 9 and wore them around home. I liked them a lot and loved the look. Then as I was walking across my kitchen floor I must have caught the edge of the heel and I slid, catching myself only after landing on my knee. I was so sad to have to return them. The front sole of the shoe is non-skid but the back is more of a plastic feel as is the heel stock itself. The black leather is stiff. They are a higher heel but are sturdy and comfortable. I have a higher arch and the stylish strap was tight across the top of my foot.

Oh these look so cute! I love my Dansko mary janes and thought these would be a nicer, dressier version of the reliable Dansko clog. I tried my normal 40 and although i could get my foot in, it was very tight across the top and my heel was right at the edge so I tried an 41 and they were better but just a bit too big for me to feel like I wouldn't always be worried about twisting an ankle. Alas, they will go back.

Love the look of this shoe! Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my foot into it. The leather strap across the top was too tight, and the part covering the toe? Ouch. Granted, I have wide feet & high arches. I don't blame the shoe as much as I blame my feet...but since I can't change my feet, I can't love this shoe.

If you do not work all day on your feet these might work. They are extremely narrow and tight when I put them on. I try shoes at the end of the day when my foot is the widest to see how they will feel at the end of a long day on my feet. Very nice design, looks nice and streamline on the foot. Not too old fashion. Perfect for the southeast since the seasons call for more in between shoes & sandals.

Excellent quality and construction and fit seems to be updated (wider) than last year's version. 42 and 41 were too big for my size 9.5 wide feet. Will try size 40 but am doubtful it will fit due to all Dansko size 40s being too small...

these shoes are not comfortable at all. feet are walking on 2 pieces of wood. it hurts my ankles dansko it is know to make elf styles and i am ok with it. but this one is above elf looking shoe it looks like an orthopedic shoe. it is not attractive at all. no wonder they are mark down.. i paid 150.00 for the most unattractive uncomfortable shoes ever. n

I can't wear these a normal 8 hour work day. My feet hurt too much. Sadly they have mostly sat on the floor. I have received compliments on them when I have worn them. Not a great dansko purchase for me, and I have lots of them in various styles. I have fairly wide feet ( not enough that I need a specifically wide shoe) and they pinch the sides of my feet. No blisters, just pain.

I was so sad that these shoes were so uncomfortable, since they were sooo cute. The arch felt like there was a ball inside it, pushing up against my foot. I could barely walk around my own house without feeling discomfort. Sigh.

Love this shoe and color, but way too wobbly at the ankle. Not worth spraining my ankle!

I bought these shoes last March, as a transitional spring to summer shoe. I began wearing them in April and wore them constantly until August. I love the style: this is a great looking shoe. But in late August the sole on one of the shoes just cracked along the delicate arch on the very bottom. I was really disappointed. Yes, I wore these shoes frequently. But I expect a lot of my Danskos. They are expensive shoes and they should be high quality. I was, luckily, able to contact Dansko customer service and they told me to send the shoes back to them in the mail. They are currently sending me a replacement pair, but they are no longer able to offer me the Thea. They had me select from their currently available catalogue and, unfortunately, there weren't any other shoes in the catalogue that I liked quite as much as these, mostly because Dansko wouldn't allow me to select any of their booties! If you're looking for a pair of shoes that you can wear for a long time, I might advise steering away from these.
