These were a little too loose vertically, and the foot bed hit the ball of my foot in the wrong place. If it were more comfortable and fit better I would have kept them, cute!

I was excited to see that there was something close to my beloved "Dansko Lolita" in white, but unfortunately these "Danis" are simply not as comfortable as the "Lolita." For some reason Dansko seems to have changed the footbed -- these are narrower and longer than my old Lolitas in the same size, and just seemed to hit my foot in the wrong places. That said, I definitely have hard to please feet. Another person might find these perfect, and they're certainly beautiful. But for the price, I need to be 100% thrilled...so I'm returning these, with regrets.

I love other pairs of Dansko sandals, but found the heel strap too stiff on this pair, otherwise a great fit.

Hmmm. If you look at the reviews of this shoe, they're all over the place. "It's too wide!" "It's too narrow!" I'm not sure, but I think the problem is that the straps aren't adjustable. So it's not the actual WIDTH of the foot that's an issue, it's the VOLUME of the foot (take a tape measure and measure around the foot -- that varies a lot among people). For me these are too loose, Lautrec! I am going to try a size down. I'm not sure that will help, but it's worth a TRY. When the non-adjustable straps are too loose, your foot pushes forward in the shoe as you walk. Not comfortable! Keeping my fingers crossed that the smaller size will work. I find this style to be a little er, unstylish, actually.

Like many others, I was hoping this would be more like Dansko's Lolita (discontinued) than it is. It just isn't. A nice sandal if you are not pining for that earlier style -- which I am.

Haven't worn them much yet, but they feel comfortable and look great. A little wide, even for my wide foot.

Very attractive and fit nicely. Color works both casually or for dressy occasions. Have another pair of the same style, different color and they are much heavier than these, which can be positive or negative. I really like this sandal!

The description was very accurate regarding size. The Dani is very comfortable but I still prefer the former make and model.

This shoe was actually comfortable but I had to return them because of the fact that my little toes were not contained by the straps and looked rather odd just kind of floating out there. Pewter color looks great and would be versatile. Wish they had worked for me.

I really like these sandals, but I do find on very warm days when my feet tend to swell that the straps are too tight!

I ordered Dani in pewter metallic. Having read the reviews first, and having a high instep, was concerned about the width but they actually feel true to size. I love the color of the leather and the strappy style. I did not love the platform being black: It probably looks great with black slacks, but not with light, summery clothes. The arch support is decent, but not what I am used to with Dansko. After wearing these around the house for a short while, I realized they did not offer the support needed to keep the discomfort of plantar fasciitis at bay. However, the Dani seems to be quite a comfortable shoe if no special problem with arches.

I too was hoping these could be a replacement for my beloved Dansko Lolita sandals, but unfortunately no. They are too narrow for me, so am returning. Too bad, because these are so cute. If you have narrow to medium/narrow feet, these might be just your ticket. Slightly wider girls should stay away. Dansko please bring back your original width, or at least start offering a "Wide" option now that you seem to be making your shoes so narrow.

Nice looking and great neutral color (pewter metallic). Unfortunately they were much to loose across the instep and around the ankle for me, even at the tightest setting.

These are really attractive but the straps are not adjustable and my little toe was sticking out between the straps. They have a very cushy footbed but the straps were just not working.

I usually love Danskos. I have several pair and I find them very comfortable. My feet and legs don't get tired when I have them on for long periods of time. This style, however, seems narrow in the toes and the strap hurts my toes on the outer edge. I wanted to return them but didn't keep the box! I thought I was sure of them. My advice: keep the box for a while and be really sure you want them before you wear them outside and throw out the box. I learned the hard way. Now I will take them to a shoe repair and see if they can stretch them out a little for me. If you like a lot of toe room or have a med to wide foot, these may not be for you. I like the looks of them and I love the patent leather.

These aren't the Danskos of earlier days. The toe-box is narrower than I expected, the toe pointier than it looks in the picture, and the whole shoe is flimsier than it should be. Aside from the part where they didn't fit (too narrow). Tight straps also left marks on my feet.

I have never written a review before, but felt compelled to because I'm very disappointed by this sandal. I own numerous Dansko shoes, but since they have moved toward a higher heel and narrower footbed, I have started to look elsewhere (Sanita). I decided to try this sandal thinking that the lower heel might work for me. Well, this is nothing like other Danskos - no rocking base, no arch support, and a strangely pointy toe shape. I really want the old Dansko goodness back.

Thought there would be more 'Dansko' support in arch area. Hope they stretch a little...a bit snug. Narrow in toe area, unlike my previous pair of Danskos. Keeping them.

These sandals are fabulous. I have a pair that is several years old so I added a new pair to my wardrobe-still wear the old ones also. They are very comfortable and fit beautifully. I highly recommend Dansko sandals and clogs. I have several pairs of clogs also. I am a teacher and they are wonderful to wear when I am on my feet all day.

Been wearing Dansko shoes for years, and I just bought the Dani sandals a couple of weeks ago. First problem is that it seems that Dansko changed their sizes such that before I was a true 39, and all of the 39s I tried on were too big. The 38 in the Dani is passable, but just barely fits, and I did have a fairly long break-in period (which I'm not used to dealing with). They could still be a little bigger, and they'd be perfect, but now that they're broken in, I do find them super comfortable and I get a lot of compliments. Overall, I am disappointed in Dansko changing the sizes, though I know several other shoe manufacturers have done so. There is not a lot of arch support, but it seems just fine for me, even though I usually need a lot of support for my flat feet.

Love the look, but it's not adjustable enough. The length is right, but my foot flops all over. Also, the buckle is a pain to open and close every time.

Had to send these back because the fit was loose. Really missing the half sizes, I think. But if I'd ordered a size down, they would've been too short. In addition, they were a bit frumpy looking on. They were very comfortable though (other than flopping around a bit from being loose). The pewter color is nice too.

I used to love these before they made the toe box smaller! Now I would have to wear a half size larger than my old Dansko Dani's.

Loved these shoes until they stretched. The soles on mine were a lighter color and I got some scratches on them. I tried to clean them and the color came off. I took them to the shoe shop and the man said there was nothing he could do because the color was painted on. Now I can't wear them at all. They were only one summer old. How disappointing.
