I had purchased these a couple of months ago and returned them because they smelled funny. I ordered another pair thinking it was a fluke. No. These stink too. This is the fourth or fifth pair of Danskos I've owned and this has never happened before. Disappointing. I'm keeping them because I live everything else about them and hope the smell dissipates with time.

Great shoe. Ran small for me. I had to order a size larger than my other Danskos.

I LOVE these shoes! I would buy them in every color if they were still stocked in my size. I have wide, flat feet with a right big toe bunion. It feels like these issues are non existent in these shoes. Sooooo sad my size is sold out in other colors. Try them. You won't be disappointed. Yay Zappos!

I loved these but am exchanging them for a new pair because the shoes stink. Yes, they stink. It's the strangest thing: the leather smells strange. Sour? The first time I wore them I couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from - the second time I figured it out. I've never experienced anything like this. It's not the foot bed that's the issue but the leather uppers. I wonder if the leather has been treated with some sort of weird chemical. I love the shoe so much I'm willing to give it another try and hoping this was just a fluke.

I wear a size 8.5 and ordered size 39. I could feel my toes bumping against the end of the shoe, so I ordered a size 40 to compare-- the 40 was way too big. I decided to stick with the 39s in the hopes the leather stretches out with wear. I was on the fence about the Sand Dollar color, it's a little orthopedic, but the ability to wear it with anything and everything won out since they are so neutral. If Zappos still sold these in Blue, that's what I would have chosen. These shoes are super comfortable, they look cute with jeans and dresses now, and will be great with socks in the fall.

Pretty shoe, can be dressed up or dressed down. First feels like it might be too tight across my foot, but wore around the house for a couple of hours and they feel great I love the red color that I chose as well. So cute!

These fit like a dream and have excellent arch support. I bought my usual size 38 and they were perfect. Can't wait to get another pair in brown.

I normally wear an 11 but my second toe hits the end of these and I ordered a 42. I’m really disappointed they have a cloth sole. My feet swear a lot and it’s embarrassing but they already smell. I wish that part, like old Danskos, had stayed leather. They are so supportive and comfy, though.

Comfy right out of the box! I've worn Dansko clogs at work for years, but these are so cute, cool and comfy for the summer while still having a closed toe. The footbed is soft and arch just right. Based on other reviews I ordered a 39 instead of the 38 I usually wear in Dansko clogs and they're perfect. I'm thinking about buying a red pair, too once they're back in stock.

The fit is good. The size feels true to size. The feel of the leather is supple. The toe box could be a little larger, but it's all right, nonetheless. The red color is very attractive. The shoes are comfortable, and the style is really cute! The lining does tend to gather foot odor easily, though. Perhaps it would be best if Dansko lined the shoe in leather. The heel would be better if it had more cushioning.

I was worried about the sizing, I ordered my normal 38, I am closer than a 7.5 than I am to an 8 and these shoes are slightly smaller than my normal Dansko clogs..but they fit me perfectly! they are comfy right out of the box, and make my feet look cute when I spend long days on my feet! I'd recommend them to anyone!

This is a highly comfortable shoe EXCEPT that, in my size (38) the upper part of it cut into the top of my foot. Even with loosening the straps, it was still painful. I have worn a 38 in other Dansko shoes with no problems. I have now ordered the next size up, and I'm hoping that it will work if I tighten the straps. If not, I'll keep the pair in my size and hope that breaking them in gets rid of the problem--I love them THAT MUCH. The style is great, and I can't walk in heels but I can walk in these! I'll write another review after I get the new ones.

Excellent but they stain easily and tough to clean and retain original color.

When I received these, I immediately took them out of the box to try them on. I pulled out the left shoe first, buckled my foot in, and rushed to the mirror to take a look. It felt very comfortable! I've been looking for shoes with more support and was excited to find a pair that may fit the bill. However, when I put the right shoe on, it felt noticeably tighter, to the point that the sides of the toe were digging into my foot. (Maybe my feet are different sizes but I've never encountered this issue with shoes before.) I knew then that I wouldn't be able to wear these as I was hoping! I also was not impressed with the color. Once the shoe was on, it looked very geriatric.

Fits great and feet don't ache after a long day of wearing.

I wish I could give these shoes 6 stars. I’m 26 years old, I run, and have some foot issues now (read: bunions). I would probably wear nothing but Danskos if I could afford to. They may be a little spendy, but they last! To me, that in addition to the comfort and support they provide makes them worth it. I like that the Sam shoe has a nice laid back look to them but they’re clean cut too. I wear these with jeans, skirts, leggings, and just about anywhere I need to go and my feet don’t get sore and tired as they do in other shoes. If you’ve never had a pair of Danskos before, do your homework and understand how they fit, and then give them a try. There’s a reason so many people love them. I served in restaurants for several years and once I got myself a pair of Danskos, I never went back to any other kind of shoe.

These shoes saved my life! I work 8 hour retail shifts and my feet and back were so painful I would almost be in tears when I got home. I got the size 39 - a perfect fit for my wide 81/2 or 9 feet. The red is adorable worn with anything! I get tons of compliments on them. There was no breaking in period and the footbed is nice and cushioned. I’ll probably buy a black pair in the fall. Definitely worth the price!

Comfy shoe but just a tad too small. Next size would be too big. Very cute shoe!

These sandals feel 1 size larger than my 5.5 size. They are very comfortable and cute but too big for my feet. Had to return.
