I'm on my 3rd pair of these sandals...the first ones came with one of the stones loose on the top center of the sandal. Those were replaced by a 2nd pair, which after about 6 wearings, the wood-grain material that covers the footbed became blistered and actually tore away from the base and had to be returned as well. Because I have foot problems, I'm hoping that the 3rd pair will be the charm. I had hoped these sandals would fill in for orthotics so I could have some "cute" shoes. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and see what happens. These sandals are more than I would normally pay for shoes, so I expect them to last more than a few wearings....perhaps a couple of years? I will say that Zappos has been very cooperative in their customer service for my problems...the issue apparently is with the quality of the shoe.

These shoes look great, and they have amazing arch support. The only problem is that they are narrow. I love Orthaheel shoes, but I really wish they were available in wides.

They're beautiful & have a great arch but dug in to the top of my foot (same spot on both feet) after less than two hours of wear. I wish they had fit my instep better because they're really pretty, but I exchanged them for Talia Floral and I'm so happy with them! And by the way, I bought the 9 and I'm regularly an 8.5.

I liked the style but the 7 was floppy on my feet(like I could sprain my ankle) the 6 footbed arch was too far forward for comfort. I have been told by a doctor that I have osteoarthritis in my feet and I have very flat feet and narrow heels. This style would be perfect for a more average foot, but Orthaheel is for people that may have feet that do not fall in the average category. I guess I will have to go with the adjustable styles especially the ones that fit farther up on the foot.

Very supportive for a flip-flop. I did have a long break-in period for the fabric piece between the toes. It did rub blisters on first few wearings, but since the toe piece got softened, I have enjoyed wearing them. Although quite expensive for a flip-flop, they are very supportive. I have received many compliments.

Ordered this in the pewter color. They are lovely sandals and the footbed felt great. Despite this, I just could not adjust to the hard thong between the toes! It was hard as a brick and would not loosen up, so sadly, I had to return them.

Leather above toe strap dug into my skin (actually broke the skin) after only a short time. Sole was very comfortable with great arch support. Nice style. Seemed well made.

I wanted so badly to keep these. I ordered the Orthaheel Tide a few weeks ago and I've lived in them ever since. I wanted something a little dressier and thought the Carla looked perfect. Unfortunately, the fit was totally different than the Tide. The Carlas are cut much smaller in both length and width. I'm an 8.5 so I sized down to an 8 but it was too small so I had to reorder the 9. Those were too big and my foot seemed to sit so far forward that I had tons of space at the back of the shoe but my toes were flush with the top. Also, the width was a problem. I don't have wide feet, in fact, at times I've worn narrow. My feet spilled over the sides of this shoe. Sadly, back they go.

Great looking shoe that was comfortable for my daughter who has fallen arches. She was afraid I was going to buy her "Mom" sandals & liked them right out of the box. Unfortunately the straps are not leather & she was allergic to the plastic man-made straps and got a rash. She wore them 2 days no problem but then, Yikes! You would think at this price they could have used leather. Wish I would have read it because I would have picked something else for her 1st vacation without family. But Zappos as always saved the day!

I have 2 pairs of orthopedic shoes and 1 pair of your flip-flops and I love them all. This latest purchase of the Orthaheel Carla was not up to your usual standard. They cut my feet terribly.

Finally there's a cute sandal with arch support. I can wear these all day and be totally comfortable. I'm ordering another pair in black for evening wear.

Love Orthaheel! I have plantar fasciitis and must wear custom orthotics, but found this brand works for me and I can finally wear 'cute' sandals again after years of clunky shoes in the summer! The only complaints: I wish they came in wide widths since I have a wide foot. And I wish they came in 1/2 sizes since I wear a 9 and 1/2. I ordered both a 9 and a 10. The 9 is barely too narrow, but I kept it since I can wear it and the 10 is wide enough but just barely too long -- but I kept that one,too. The support is good, not great like The Tide,though. I wish all Orthaheels were made using the Tide sole. Otherwise I love this shoe!

I absolutely love Orthahell! I have plantar fascitiis and must wear custom orthatics. Last year I discovered Orthaheel here on Zappos and what a relief it was to be able to wear cute sandals all summer and fall for the first time in years! While the arch support is not as good in these shoes as is in The Tide - it is still good enough to allow me to wear them for a day, certainly for an evening out with no pain afterwards. I do have two complaints, though. I wish they came in wide widths, and I wish they came in half sizes. This 9 was just almost too narrow, but I kept it anyway. I also ordered a 10 and it was wide enough but just almost too long, but I also kept it anyway. I have wide feet. I love Orthaheel shoes and wish all were made with the Tide soles. Those were my around the house shoe, so comfortable!

Thank you so much, Orthaheel, for making cute sandals for ladies with foot problems! I have plantar fascitiis and must wear custom orthotics - until I discovered Orthaheel sandals! I am so excited because all last summer and fall I was able to wear cute sandals instead of clumsy shoes. My only complaint is they do not come in wide widths or in half sizes. I am a 9½ normally and had to order a 9 and a 10 to see which works best. The 9 is a small bit narrow, the 10 is a small bit long. I ended up keeping both. I ordered these shoes in black and also bronze. I absolutely love them. They provide good arch support - not excellent like The Tide, but good enough for me to wear all day at times.

These provide the arch support I was looking for. My only issue is the printed footbed pattern wears off very easily, especially if exposed to sand! I am still happy with these. They are very cute and comfy.

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for over a year and have found great relief as long as I wear othotics in my shoes. Until I found these sandals with great arch support, I have only been able to wear running shoes. I love these sandals because they are dressy and allow me to look decent when I want more than a sporty look. I wish they made them with a low heel to dress them up even more. I just ordered my second pair of "Carlas" as I worry that they may be discontinued. They're great!

I have these shoes in all 3 colors, and I wear them every day. They are extremely comfortable and provide excellent arch support.

These are great shoes for people like me with arch issues. These provide great support for flip-flops. And their cuteness is a bonus.

This is my first pair of Orthaheels but definitely not my last pair. I love them. I like the style and they are very comfortable.

I highly recommend this sandal because of it's comfort and ability to relieve chronic pain. After wearing them for 2 weeks all of my foot, knee and back pain is alleviated. They are also very stylish compared to other comfort shoes.These due require about a week of breaking in. Your foot needs to adjust to the natural shape of the footbed. At first they felt tight but then stretched to the perfect fit. The length looks a bit long because it does not come in half sizes. I don't really mind the little extra space plus the size smaller was too small. The only thing I would change is the color of the jewel stones on the strap. I would have wanted for them to be a different color than the strap for a pop of color. Other than that they are perfect for pain-free walking.

This was the first time I've ordered shoes online. Buying shoes is not a fun process for me because I pronate and have to be very careful. And I am so tired of not having cute shoes! To complicate things, I rolled my ankle and have a traumatic case of plantar fasciitis. Because of the great return policy I decided to go for it. I love these shoes. I ordered a size down and they are perfect. They don't look like an orthotic shoe at all. I was a little worried about the support because I usually live in Brooks Addictions. They are the most comfortable shoe I own. I wouldn't power walk in them, but they are great for a day of walking around town. And the support is fine. They have been the only shoe that gives me relief for my heel pain. :) And they are really fun to wear - I get lots of compliments on them. Can't wait to try more in different styles!

Love this sandal. I was really surprised how well it supported my arches and corrected my posture. And so stylish too.

About a month ago I was introduced to Orthaheel Carla by my friend. She let me wear hers because my feet were killing me. I now have 4 pair and I live in them. If you don't believe me, just try them...they are an answer to feet prayer. I even sold one pair of mine to a friend and she loves them.

I started wearing Orthaheel a couple of years ago. I was having back problems and realized I needed a sandal with a good arch. This is my fourth pair. I love them...they are so comfortable. They have really helped to relieve me back pain. They are also more stylish than other orthopedic brands.

I was very pleased with the sandals when I received them. I loved the look of the sandal, but most of all it was comfortable to wear. It has been years since I have been able to wear sandals due to them hurting my feet, but with the arch support in these, I was able wear them comfortably for hours at a time.
