Gorgeous shoe, stylish, unique, yet casual. Very comfy, no break in period. The perfect travel shoe - but really buy it half a size smaller. I would buy it in more colors and try other Ahnu styles I love the shoe so much.

Lovely - runs big at least a 1/2 size. Makes foot look smaller. Felt comfy but wouldn't stay on my foot. Will reorder in smaller size.

Again Zappos customer service comes through! Looking for a comfortable shoe for a trip to Hawaii in which I will be doing a lot of walking. These shoes will fit the bill perfectly. Soft leather, good arch support and very comfortable. Looks cute with capris, shorts and I am sure summer dresses or skirts. These and my keens will make packing easy.

I love these shoes! I nearly always have a problem with the back of a shoe rubbing a blister and this did not happen at all, even a little bit. I was amazed. Right out of the box, no blister, no rubbing, no pressure point. Wow! The fit is true to size and a true medium width. I have a somewhat narrow foot and this width was roomy but not too wide. Length felt ever so slightly snug but after wearing a few times was great. I had to "work" the leather on the toe with my thumbs to make it more flexible as it was formed and stiff. The straps give and stretch constantly as one walks making the fit perfect whether one is going uphill, flat or hiking on uneven terrain. I wore them on vacation after breaking them in at home for one day, just wearing around the house. Wore them horseback riding and they were good support. Wore them urban hiking and walking on many steps and no aching feet after a long day. They gave me zero problems on vacation. Love them so much bought 4 more pairs. The misty rose is an odd shade but I really like it! Almost a peachy pale pink and because I have light white skin seems to rather disappear on the feet from a distance. I think this color would look really great on someone with darker skin as it's a great color, and has a pretty glow, and it's is one that I hope Ahnu keeps making as it seems to go with everything. The black is intensely dark gray versus true black. The silver-taupe color is quite pale and blends with all clothes making it versatile beyond belief. My 26 year old daughter also loves these shoes and feels they are perfect for a young woman, however, I am 64 years old. I still care about style but need comfort. I have had knee surgery and need a flattering but comfortable shoe that is stylish. It's so uncommon to find one that does it all for me, but this one does!

These are a fantastic hybrid between a ballet slipper and a sneaker. The elastic at the heel and top cross-straps keep them on your foot, but there is nothing tight or constricting. One interesting note: I ordered both the "lead" and "smokey brown" in different sizes - and there is a huge difference in leather material between the two colors. In fact, you can see from the photos that some colors are a shiny leather (these are really soft and pliable) and other colors are a matte/suede leather (these seem much more stiff). By far, the softer leather (eg, lead) was much more comfortable with no breaking in required. Not sure about the other colors - so be your own judge.

These are such cute shoes and very comfortable right out of the box. I hope to wear them on a trip to France in June. The only problem is with my high arches, I get no support at all in them. I'm not sure how much walking I can do in them. I'm recovering from plantar fasciitis and achilles tendinitis so I have to be careful with the shoes I wear. I probably should return them but the are so cute, I may just wear them for quick trips to the store.

Love the color...got the Indigo blue that goes with almost everything. The only negative: blisters on my pinkie toes where the strap is sewn to the front of the shoe.

I was surprised to find that these were very uncomfortable shoes. The first thing I noticed was that the toe area was very hard! I've never felt anything like it other than steel-toe boots. Second, the back of the shoe rode very high and rubbed the back of my ankle. The sole was both hard and thin, and there was no arch support. I did think they were cute, but since my plan was to actually walk in these, I returned them.

These shoes are as horribly uncomfortable and they are amazingly cute. I had coveted these shoes for many months and finally decided to take the expensive plunge and treat myself. Way too uncomfortable for me. No support whatsoever. Back they go!

This is a terrific travel shoe! Bought it for a 10-day trip to Rome and Umbria. You can wear it walking all day, but it looks nice enough with a dress for dinner in most tourist destinations. Straight out of the box these were comfy, with no friction. My primary issue with travel shoes is they need to be lightweight, both for packing and for just being light on the feet when walking all day. These are feathery light, and kept my legs from tiring. Great shoe! Gray/yellow combo is fun and neutral. May try more of this brand, which is new to me.

Absurdly comfortable. I received these shoes on a Friday and wore them all weekend. They are a bit wide, but not noticeably so, and it does not detract from the fit but rather adds to the comfort. I'd say they do run 1/2 size large (I normally wear a 6.5 and the size 6 were perfect).

Absolutely wonderful show, but definitely felt a 1/2 size larger. I usually wear an 8 in shoes and 7.5 in sandal, so consider this particular style a sandal when ordering.

I ordered the indigo in a 10.5. Loved the color and thought I loved the shoe but it is way too narrow through the front toe. The top straps too loose and didn't help that the straps don't adjust. I tried wearing them for walks to break them in and ended up with very sore feet and blisters on the outside of my little toes. I do have problem feet though (flat and wide at toes narrow heels) so maybe good for somebody who has narrower feet.

I am a bit surprised at the reviews, as this is an oddly sized shoe. It is much longer and narrower than whatever size you are used to. I wear an 11, and I have an inch extra room in the toe and the arch hits me in the middle of the foot because the shoe bed is so narrow. Very uncomfortable shoe. Not sure if I am going to keep it or not.

This is an adorable little flat. I tried it on and immediately channeled Audrey Hepburn; all I need is the capris!

Very cute, comfy shoes. I get lots of compliments. The main part of my feet are average width, but the toe area is wide and my heels/ankles are small. I usually have to buy shoes in a larger size to allow enough room for my toes, which means the rest of the shoe is too big. I was concerned this would be an issue, but they still fit well. They do rub a little, but my feet don't seem to be irritated by that. I also have bunions, but these shoes are decent at accommodating the extra bulge. Review of Zappos service: ridiculously fast, free shipping. I'm very impressed!

I got these in pink. It is a soft light pink with tone of taupe and salmon, not bubble gum pink. It is a basic color and sort of matches Caucasian skin, and goes with everything. At first the toe box was too hard and it hurt my toes as it felt too flat, top to bottom at the toes. I loved the shoes and found them amazingly comfortable, so, I worked the toe area hard, using thumbs and made the whole toe area more pliant. This fixed the problem completely. After that, I wore them all day without difficulty. These are exceptionally comfortable shoes. I have a tender and even delicate heel. Nearly all shoes rub my heels and either hurt or produce blisters. I had ZERO heel rubbing problems with these shoes, right from the first time I wore them. I think I'm in love with these shoes and am buying another pair in silver and one in dark. They are that good. If you have tender feet you will like these shoes. Also, they are the barefoot type of shoe so have flexible soles which are great for a nice bouncy walk but not good if walking on a lot of sharp stones. They have a strong arch support, noticeable arch support.

These shoes are so cute and the color, "seafoam" is a soft green that is almost a neutral. I am so sorry to have to return them but my feet and this shoe are not a match. Tight in the toe box on one foot and heel slippage in both feet. A smaller size would be too tight and in a larger size I would be walking out of them. Despite the fact that the shoe looks very flat they seem to have pretty good support. Whoever can find these shoes comfortable is lucky. I am sorry to see them go back.

I'm so disappointed...these are the perfect shoes. Except that they run my big toes and press just slightly down on the nail on the corner, causing pain. It happens immediately. My feet are straight, my big toes don't turn in, and these shoes seem to do that a bit. Other than that, they are comfy. But they are going back to Zappos.

Love these shoes I can recommend these for those who have normal size feet . The straps are secure and holds tight. They can go with jeans ,tight or even a nice slack. Unfortunately I had to send them back for a refund because I don't have normal size feet, they tend to swell and blister making it hard to find shoes. I only wish these came in wide. Otherwise I think there great.

Love these Ahnu shoes. They are comfortable and perfect for the spring/summer weather. They fit slightly large for the length, but not a problem, and my feet do not slide. I do suggest getting your correct size. They pair great with jeans and capris.

I loved these shoes upon arrival. Misty Rose is true to color and a nice pale pink. I have another pair of Ahnu open back, mule type shoes and I wear them all summer. I was hoping to add these as well. Unfortunately the toe box area is too small and my toes hit the front when walking. I also found the straps to be very loose as others have mentioned, there is no way to tighten them. I think the shoes would work for me in a half size higher (even though the straps are a bit loose fitting), but I wear a size 11 and they don't make them any bigger. I am sending mine back.
